Calling All Couples! Sign up now. Help us set a record! On December 10 at 5:00 pm, we need your help setting a Guinness World Record for the most couples kissing under the mistletoe! Chase Spencer had been firmly planted in the friend-zone ever since he first met Rachel Anthony back when they were in grade school and it looks like that’s where he’s destined to remain. And her latest scheme is bound to be torture. She wants them to help break the Guinness World Record for the most couples kissing under the mistletoe at one time. How should he handle this? Should the kiss be a chaste, friendly kiss like she envisions? Or should he do it in a way that leaves Rachel without a doubt that he wants to be more than friends? It had always been Rachel’s dream to break a world record, and who better to do it with than her best friend Chase? And it wasn’t as if they hadn’t kissed before—sixth grade, spin-the-bottle at Iona Puckett’s party—a peck of the lips and it’d be over. Except she missed the part where they had to hold the kiss for ten seconds. And no one warned her of how she would feel afterwards—confused and longing for more. How can she convince Chase to change her status from friend to girlfriend?

Title: Definitely sweet!
Review: I had just finished two stories on my Kindle that I regretted even starting, never mind paying money for, when I randomly chose this one. I've never read any of Andrea Boyd's before, but I am so glad I did. Not only did it ease the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach from not being careful enough with my literary choices, it made me hopeful again and restored my faith in Christian romantic fiction.Perhaps you feel I am being melodramatic, but I seriously am relieved. Andrea is excellent at character development; gives enough description without overdoing it; is a creative storyteller (she put a credible twist on this move from friendship to romance); and does it all with great grammar, punctuation, and spelling. I am a fan!! :)I hope to read more of her stories. As she promised at the end of this one to write about Chase's older brother Wade in the next, I think I know which one that will be!

Review: This is a clean Christian Friendship to love story. The characters were Kind and Genuine That you wanted to meet them in person. Every character in the story worked well with each other and it was nice to see no really bad person in the whole book. I like this I like this story line I like how easy it was to read and quickly read. I would recommend this book and series to anybody.

Title: Great holiday read!
Review: Chase Spencer and Rachel Anthony have been friends since grade school. And Chase has been in love with Rachel since grade school. When she comes to him saying they should be part of a Guinness World Record of the most couples kissing under a mistletoe he finally sees an opportunity to become more than friends. This is a delightful Christmas romance! A little kissing under the mistletoe and a friend-to-lovers trope. Yes, please. Chase also has a really close-knit, slightly meddling family. The characters were all fun and interesting. I'm hoping this author is writing more about the Spencer family. The pacing was also good. It was a short, quick, enjoyable read.If you're looking for a sweet, clean holiday romance pick this book up.

Title: A quick, cute, sweet read
Review: It was cute and sweet, an evening's quick read, and I'll read it every Christmas probably. I loved the characters, especially the nosy siblings. There were a few things I didn't like, though. I didn't like taking God's name in vain on p. 30, though I believe that was the only one. There were a few small typos, too. And the ending (epilogue, which was the resolution) was too abrupt after an anti-climatic climax. But not bad. Fun and sweet.Favorite quotes:“If he'd known he would be permanently relegated to the friend-zone, he would've said no.” (p. 4) – great start!“People had been trying to figure out her and Chase's relationship for years. Why was it so hard to believe that a guy and a girl could be good friends without it going deeper?” (p. 10)“...He had garnered no promises that she wouldn't end up with someone else. He might die a little if that person wound up being his boss.” (p. 37)“She sucked in a few breaths, shook her hands out at her sides, and bounced from one foot / to the other like a prize fighter [sic] waiting for the bell to sound.” (p. 41-42)“What was normal then is different than [sic] today's normal, which will be different than [sic] ten years from now, but that doesn't mean you won't still be friends. Things change [sic] and that isn't always a bad thing.” (p. 65) -- such wise words!“In trying to fix things, he had totally screwed them up. He should have banged his head against his bedroom wall a few more times. And harder. Maybe it would have knocked some sense into him so he could figure this mess out and get out of this friend-zone for good.” (p. 100)(I received a copy in a giveaway. I was not compensated for this review. All opinions are my own, as was the decision to write this review.)
