Title: Good value
Review: I've had this tablet for about a month, so I feel confident in writing this review. The tablet was replacing my Samsung Galaxy Tab A because of a shattered screen. In my opinion, this tablet is a great value. It manages to do just about everything the Samsung did, at around half the price. The screen looks good. The speakers sound good and are loud. The metal back looks good and feels solid. I just about never use the camera, so no opinion on that. It does seem to go through the battery a little quicker than I like. But overall, I am very pleased with Blackview Tab 5.Update: After almost 2 years, the charging port malfunctioned. It doesn't charge, the cable gets very hot, and smells like its burning. It is not the cable, I tried several others. I am very disappointed. I wrote a very positive review, but you never know how long a device will last. Maybe this is an isolated incident, but I am disappointed that the tablet didn't make it 2 years.

Title: Horrible Product
Review: Not worth the money. Save up and buy a brand name. Slow to load up. Slow to browse the web. Crashes often. Now after 9 months it crashed after an update and won't load into the operating system at all. Good luck getting product support. I bought the 10" version for my kids and those crashed as well. 3/3 all terrible

Title: VERY Slow for a new device, they did offer a different tab, it is the tab 7, worth the money.
Review: Just needed a new reader for my wife and a couple of streaming services. Takes forever for the webbrowser to load and all other programs load very slow befor even adding anything....they were very helpful and offered an upgraded tab 7 and seems to be working a lot better than the 5.

Review: Update: Blackview had kindly reached out offering to make it better. They are very focused on the buyer being happy. I am very impressed.I wanted an improvement from my old tablet. It was lighter and had a better rated battery. However, it did not meet my performance needs. I sent it back for a refund.

Title: Not for the inexperienced
Review: Whats good? It's reasonably fast, has lots of ram and memory and good battery life.Whats not so good? No instructions other than how to turn it on. It is not intuitive to learn how to use it. No obvious way to close an app or navigate. No onboard tutorial. There is no manual available from the maker and not likely to be one in the future. Not for newbies.

Title: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Won't connect to internet, and seller is very unhelpful.
Review: I bought this tablet under the assumption that I'd get a working tablet. I was wrong. This tablet refused to connect to wifi and thus wouldn't work. When I voiced my concerns to the seller, he/she didn't help me at all.They just provided some troubleshooting steps that were basic, like reset it, ect. Steps I had taken before reaching out to the seller. It seemed my problem was actually common as the seller asked me which issue I was experiencing. For example, one was it wouldn't connect to wifi at all, another was it would connect but would show up as no internet, and the last was it would connect and work as expected for a while, minutes/hours, and then go back to not working again. After looking at other reviews I realized I was not an isolated case.Just writing this review to warn you to not expect a functional tablet, and to not expect any help from the seller. In case anything goes wrong, you're on your own as I was. Luckily I can still return it, as its within the 30 day return period, but God knows what wouldve happened if it worked for the first 30 days and then broke down. Will be returning this very soon.

Title: Died after one year
Review: This is a basic tablet which I bought as a reader. As a reader it's good - as a tablet it's poor. WIFI is extremely slow as are applications.Last night it died and I can't get it to start. I know it's a cheap tablet but it should last more than a year.Waiting to hear back from Blackview.

Title: Great for small games
Review: This worked great for an extra tablet used for small games for my residents at my facility. It really seemed to engage their minds and help to cope while sick in the hospital. This was pretty affordable means of an activity that can be reused. I downloaded 20 different games and they work pretty good on this tablet.
