Title: Great Option for Casual Users or Second Tablet
Review: Hey tablet enthusiasts! I've been putting the Umidigi G1 Tab through its paces for a few weeks now, and I'm ready to spill the beans. Buckle up for a deep dive into this budget-friendly device!Screen Scene:The 10.1-inch HD+ display (1280x800 resolution) is a pleasant surprise for the price point. While it's not Full HD, it still delivers vibrant colors and decent sharpness. Whether I'm binge-watching "Stranger Things," scrolling through Instagram, or diving into an e-book, the visuals are pretty satisfying. The screen offers good viewing angles, so sharing the screen with a friend isn't a problem. The touchscreen's responsiveness is on point - no frustrating lag here! However, outdoor visibility can be a bit challenging, especially on sunny days. Pro tip: find a shady spot for your outdoor reading sessions!Power Play:Under the hood, we've got a quad-core UNISOC processor. For everyday tasks, it's smooth sailing. Web browsing? Check. Social media scrolling? No problem. E-book reading? Absolutely. It even handles light multitasking without breaking a sweat. But let's be real - if you're looking to play graphics-intensive games or edit 4K videos, you might want to look elsewhere. Think of it as a reliable workhorse for casual use rather than a race car for power users.Battery Beast:The 6000mAh battery is where this tablet really shines. With moderate use - a mix of web browsing, video streaming, and e-book reading - I easily get through a full day and then some. Standby time is impressive too; I've left it untouched for days with minimal battery drain. Charging is reasonably quick with the included charger, taking about 3-4 hours from zero to full. It's not the fastest charging out there, but hey, overnight charging works just fine.Connection Central:The Umidigi G1 Tab comes equipped with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 - pretty impressive for a budget tablet. Wi-Fi connectivity is rock-solid; I've streamed HD content without any buffering issues. Bluetooth pairing is a breeze, whether it's connecting to wireless earbuds or a Bluetooth keyboard.Snap and Chat:Camera-wise, we're looking at 8MP sensors on both the front and back. Are they going to replace your DSLR or flagship smartphone? Nope. But for quick snapshots or video calls, they do the job. The rear camera captures decent photos in good lighting, while the front camera is more than adequate for video chats on Zoom or Google Meet. Just don't expect miracles in low-light situations - things can get a bit grainy.Extra Goodies:Running on Android 13 out of the box is a big plus. The interface is clean and intuitive, free from bloatware that often plagues budget devices. You get 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD (up to 1TB) - perfect for storing your media library. The build quality feels solid, and it's light enough for extended use. The dual speakers won't blow you away, but they're clear enough for casual YouTube sessions or background music while you work.Wrapping Up:After weeks of use, I can confidently say the Umidigi G1 Tab offers solid value for money. It nails the basics with a decent display, reliable performance for everyday tasks, impressive battery life, and up-to-date connectivity options. Sure, it's not going to compete with high-end tablets, but for budget-conscious users looking for a capable device for media consumption, light productivity, and casual use, it's a strong contender. If you're in the market for an affordable tablet that doesn't feel cheap, the Umidigi G1 Tab deserves a spot on your shortlist!

Title: The best budget tablet i have ever used.
Review: Right of the rip, it fires up in about 30 seconds, not super fast but honestly good enough for the majority of users. Build quality is above par and the weight of the device feels of quality. The whole tablet in a whole runs smooth, very smooth, i would switch from my iPad to this only because i can afford to purchase more of these and have the same experience than i could with apple. I love the fact and i wish more companies did this but stock android is by far the best android experience for any operating system. No bloatware at all anywhere on this device. All apps seem to take a Nano second to open and so far i find no lag in loading or screen swiping. Now the refresh rate is only 60 MHz, Not horrible and better than others out in the market. but obviously not 120mhz which you find on higher end tablets. But outside of higher spec devices, for everyday consumption and productivity why spend more when this Umidigi g1 can do everything you need to do from a tablet. Im so impressed with the G1 i am willing to purchase the G2 and G3 just to see how high of specs they can go at affordable prices. But probably the most important feature of all is that it is perfect for kids. They are affordable to replace when they get damaged but to my surprise it came with a pre installed screen protector and a clear silicone case. Pretty awesome

Title: Beautiful piece of technology, well protected in a included soft case
Review: This is a wonderful little tablet. From the moment I opened the box, I could see the quality of the workmanship. The tablet is a little heavier than I expect for the size, it is quite hefty. Included in the box was the 10" tablet, a nice soft case to protect the tablet, a red charging cable and a wall plug. The tablet came already charged to 80%. I was able to start the tablet, do the easy setup and was ready to download all the apps I need for it. The tablet runs really fast and more than adequate for most tasks. I was able to connect to YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, gmail, outlook etc. without any problems. There are 2 speakers at one end of the tablet, very loud and good bass tones. The screen is very nice with good resolution for my needs. I mostly use it for accessing my audio mixer and it is working perfectly for that. The is a microSD slot for adding extra memory. The RAM is configurable for 4GB or 8 GB. For my use, the tablet seems to run a lot faster when set to 4GB of RAM. May be more is not always better? The tablet comes with the latest Android 13, very slick.I would highly recommend this little tablet, it meets all my needs.

Title: Okay for Basic Need
Review: Things I like (Pro): Great value, External memory slot, Front camera, Socket for audio jack.Things I don't like (Con): Heavier than expected, Slow to install an app, Sound quality is not very good.I like the size (10x6.5 inch), which is suitable for reading while holding but it is pretty heavy (664g) for 10" tablet. I appreciate that it has a front camera, which I can use it for video chat with my family. However, it took me more than 2min to install Messenger while it only took a few seconds to install the same App in my iphone using the same wifi. Overall, it fulfills my basic need as I am mainly using it for reading and video chatting.

Title: Stopped working right after return window
Review: In less than three months the tablet stopped working. It won’t turn on and it won’t charge. Tried changing power cords and outlets and still nothing. Tried to reach the company and they were less than helpful. Terrible waste of money!

Review: This tablet had a good price and decent specifications for that price point. I think that you get a slightly bulkier product as the compromise. This tablet has the specs it claims to and performs as one would expect a tablet with those specs to perform.I have used the camera on this, attached a USB-C-OTG device to it and it worked, I have surfed the web and watched youtube videos on it. It does the job it should. It comes with a charge cable and charger, a screen protector and also a back cover. Quality is all really good.Check the dimensions as it is a touch on the thicker side, but that makes it feel sturdy. It seems to keep battery life good for now (but this is something that I do not anticipate to see any poor performance on until the device is months to years old, if at all -- too soon to tell). The speakers are both on the same side. For portrait mode this sounds as one would expect a stereo option to sound. For landscape mode this is a bit lopsided. The headphone jack works though, as does bluetooth.Wifi connects fine.I have not done an end to end (100% to 0%) battery life test on this yet, so am not sure how that will go but it has a large capacity battery so I do not expect that to be an issue. This is a lower price point device but it runs smooth and functions well. It seems to fit holders and stands as one would expect.Overall a pleasant device to use, and excellent value for the price.

Review: I bought this tablet because of the overall good customer reviews but my experience with it has been the exact opposite. I don’t need a particularly powerful or expensive tablet because it’s mostly for social media, watching videos and some light gaming like Hay Day or Solitaire. I may have just gotten a lemon too but this is by far the worst tablet I’ve ever used and I have two cheaper ones (also running Android 13) that do much better than this thing.First, my tablet constantly crashes and restarts by itself. It doesn’t matter what I run or don’t run, it will do it periodically. I am also very careful to only install apps from the Play Store so it’s definitely not malware. There is also an issue with the battery where it runs fine from 100% down to 30% but after that it goes from 30% straight down to 0% immediately. The battery charges quickly but drains fairly quickly too. Other than the above though that hasn’t been an issue for me.The operating system is also not great. It doesn’t appear to be Android Go but it’s also missing a lot of the features my other cheap tablets have and not being able to customize the tablet in these ways leaves me frustrated and unable to use it as I would like. One big annoyance for me is the inability to format the SD card as internal storage. I’m not one to download music and videos, it’s really apps themselves that I want to use, so I’m really stuck with the 64GB memory unable to expand it.Another thing that I can’t figure out is why I don’t get the notifications on screen when it’s not in use despite that they are all enabled just like my other tablets. I’ve contacted UMIDIGI support to see if they can help me fix these issues (so far no reply) otherwise I’m gonna have to return this thing because I can’t even depend on it for basic things. There’s no option to download security updates even if Android 13 is still supported by Google either so I’m not sure I even trust this thing even with VPN and Bitdefender that I use on all of my devices either way. The downloaded apps do still get updates but not the tablet system itself so that’s at least one positive. The tablet body itself seems sturdy (in fact it’s quite heavy) and it comes with a case already pre-installed which is a great plus. The screen is beautiful and clear, it’s probably the nicest one of the different tablets I’ve had. Sound quality is not great though, and customizing the volume for notifications is also not great. It’s either mute or obnoxiously loud.Overall I’m not happy at all with this tablet. I do not recommend it. Even if it was inexpensive I definitely expected more than this out of it.

Review: I've been using this tablet for the past month and a half and don't regret my decision at all. Sure, its not the fastest tablet, but for the price it has far exceeded my expectations. The screen quality and sound quality make it an ideal device to watch movies, youtube, news and social media. I've used it on camping trips and other places where maybe I didn't want to worry about keeping a more expensive device around. The wifi6 performance is pretty decent. I streamed a hockey game on Bell fibe in the backyard and it worked flawlessly.I haven't experimented with the camera too much but I did use the tablet to do a video call and there were no complaints about the quality of connection from either party.Battery life - good. Keeping wifi on, it drains pretty fast (a day) . But if I keep it on airplane mode when not using it - I can make the tablet last the week without a recharge which makes it kind of ideal for travel.Lastly, my son was excited to learn he could play Brawl Stars on this device without any issues.
