Title: Great, robust tape
Review: This tape measure lasted about 6 months. I’m a framer so it got used all day every day. The only reason it gave up was because it got bent too many time towards the hook and it started to tear. It fell out of my bags a few times and dropped 30 feet onto a plywood floor and didn’t break. It’s easy to read and has a good grip. For a 30’ tape it’s not bulky. I love the finger brake feature and overall it’s a good design.

Title: Chunky and durable
Review: The stock pictures can't really show how durable this thing feels. It's chunky and feels like you could run a bulldozer over it. I love the little opening on the bottom that lets you manually hold the tape in place without having to lock it in. It seems minor, but I find myself using it all the time. The extra markings are useful to have as well instead of having to think way too hard about it (metric really is the superior unit, but this is the next best thing). If you need something compact, this isn't the tape measure for you.

Title: Nice tape measure
Review: For someone whose accustomed to hearing a measurement of “the line before the 1/2 mark” this is the best tape measure! Perhaps “someone” will learn what 3/8 looks like -> or not!! However, I would recommend this tape measure to anyone as it’s sturdy, easy to read, nice locking mechanism and good weight that doesn’t make it feel cheaply made.

Review: My main reason for being was so that my wife would know a 1/8 inch is not two little lines. OMG Plus It's a De Walt!! I own Many of their Power tools all work Flawlessly over the past five Plus years. The cost is overpowered by the value and reliability. No I didn't get paid for this review.. Just buy it.
