ABOUT MAGNIFICATION

The focal length of the eyepiece, combined with the focal length of the telescope, determine the magnification power. To calculate the power of your telescope with any particular eyepiece, simply divide the focal length of the telescope (300mm) by the focal length of the eyepiece (indicated in “mm” on the eyepiece collar). For example, when you use the eyepiece H20mm with this telescope, the magnification will be 15X, and with a 3X Barlow lens, the magnification will be 45X.

Title: Great Telescope for beginners!!
Review: I recently purchased this Telescope for my daughter who is introduced to astronomy in her school. She is always fascinated by stars, planets and galaxy!! So I thought it would be a wonderful gift to enhance her interest in astronomy.It comes with all the accessories which are well packaged and the instruction manual helps to assemble it very easily. The mount is sturdy for short heights but when extended to its full height, shakes a bit especially when its very windy. But, its light weight so it makes it easy to carry anywhere. We enjoy using it for star gazing and spotting moon and taking a closer look at stars. The pictures are of great clarity. I'm yet to use the phone adapter feature. My daughter enjoys looking through it and wants to use for for her next camping adventure :)) Overall a wonderful purchase!

Title: Great telescope for first time users
Review: Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 6yo son. Shipped in a timely fashion, and arrived in good condition. Assembly instructions were mostly clear and easy to follow.Used it on a night that was uncomfortably cold outside, but despite our limited time outside we were able to spot the moon easily. Magnification with the standard eye piece is pretty good, was able to make out great detail on the moons surface that is well beyond the detail one would get with the naked eye.Following that we attempted to use the adapters that allow for much greater magnification. However, I was unable to spot the moon as it was uneasy to make the very fine adjustments needed on the tripod head because at that level of magnification very small adjustments to the tripod head create large changes in what is being observed through the eye piece. This is the reason for my 4 star, rather than 5 star review.The only thing I was halfway disappointed with was the cell phone adapter. I was not able to make it work with my phone (Samsung Note 20). The phone was too heavy for the mount and the camera was unable to stay in the correct orientation in relation to the eye piece. May work much better with a smaller phone.Overall a good starter telescope.

Title: Love this telescope
Review: I’ve been looking around for a while for a sturdy quality telescope but also at a decent price point and that’s actually been proven hard to find. However, I’ve finally found it in this telescope. I’ve been using it the last few days and when there’s a clear night, it is magnificent and the stars really pop on my screen. It happens but be it is not difficult at all to do the alignment and the focus on the lens works wonders, and you really can see the night sky at its fullest, it is super easy to use and I would totally recommend it for beginners trying to get into astrology.
