Title: A MUST BUY - ONLY IF YOU LIKE DELICIOUS FOODâ¦
Review: Iâll start by saying all of her books are fantastic! But you can tell the time energy and detail that was put into this book not only listening to her followers but her love of food and creating pulls through.I have already made a few of the recipes and have LOVED each one. We made âThai Basil beefâ last night which is a takeout fav of ours and it did not disappoint. The night before it was Peruvian beef and sweet and sour pork which will all be in our regular rotation.Today we are making Swedish meatballs and next curry noodle soup.I donât want to say itâs her âbest cookbook yetâ because they are all great however, these recipes are quick and seriously delicious. I donât even want to eat out-Iâm so excited to get to the next recipe and I find myself wandering to the couch with a snuggly blanket and notepad to flip through the beautiful pics and read her great tips and plan what Iâll make next.I really appreciate the personal notes left in the book. I donât want to give too much away because I want other to buy it and have their own delightful experience.I donât think there was a recipe in the book Iâm not excited to make!!To me this is a must buy not only for people with AI or dietary issues but for anyone whoâ¦..loves delicious food???Haha.Really though itâs for everyone because itâs clean, healthy, AND incredibly delicious.Do it for your health, your kids health, your families health or do it because you like yummy food, whatever the reason⦠just do it!!If you want or need motivation go read her book food saved me. Actually, I prefer you listen to it as she narrates it and happens to be a fantastic story teller. I laughed, I cried, I celebrated, and I sympathized it was deeply personal and relatable. It was also very motivating which if youâre struggling with AI and have a family it can be so challenging to stay motivated but these recipes and her personal story really make me feel not alone and hopeful. Thanks for the love put into this book (these books) Danielle you are the best!

Title: Great resource for busy families! Thoughtfully designed.
Review: Although I adore Danielle Walker's cookbooks and have the whole collection, we generally cook very simply- protein, veggies, starch, seasonings or sauce. We only take time to cook more decadent things over the holidays. (Our MOST used cookbook is Danielle's "Celebrations" cookbook, which was life changing for our holidays with extended family- they can't tell it any of the goodies are paleo, and just want us to share recipes/bring the yumminess every year.)I already can see that this latest offering will be well-used- it probably will overtake Celebrations as our most used cookbook in no time. The recipes are diverse in flavor, beautifully photographed, and each one contains so many tips, variations, and tricks. Danielle is so thoughtful and is so relatable as she educates the home cook throughout the pages. We have gluten-free, grain-free, and unrestricted eaters in our family, and everyone already has picked recipes that they are excited to try.I love that Danielle is offering a line of spice blends that will make prep even faster (but she includes recipes for the spices in the book if you prefer to make the blends yourself). Each recipe has prep time, cook time, dietary guidelines (GF, DF, Whole 30, etc) and there are even a few QR codes that lead to video tutorials. There are meal plans, discussion of budget vs convenience, and a beautiful recipe index in the back with thumbnails of each recipe, each with cooking time! So well thought out.I am so impressed by this book, and can't wait to try more recipes! The few we have tried that were available ahead of the release of the book were quick and amazing! I'm so grateful for this beautiful resource, and highly recommend it!

Title: Quick, Easy and Delicious Recipes!
Review: What is there to say but WOW! She has completely knocked it out of the park. It is beautiful, well-written and the recipes are amazing. There are three things I love best about this cookbook. First, is all the tips, tricks, and tidbits she offers throughout. The QR Codes are also fantastic. I love the videos and I think for a newbie to this type of cooking, and even for a seasoned cook, these extras really add amazing value to the book. The second thing I love is the amount of âfoundation recipes,â as I call them, that she has included. Things like spice mixes, porridge base, polenta, salad dressings, aioli, enchilada sauces, etc. These are often things that are missing in a paleo-type diet and being able to have recipes to fill these gaps is amazing. My third favorite thing I love is how accessible these recipes are for everyone. Even if you donât have or want to eat paleo, SCD, gluten free, etc., these recipes are still perfect for everyone. In closing, I was fortunate enough to be a recipe tester for this cookbook, I can attest to the ease, quick-cooking, and most of all, the amazing deliciousness of the recipes. It has never been easier to be âHealthy in a Hurry.âThank you Danielle!

Review: Danielle is wonderful! I am a terrible cook, and she can even make me look good in the kitchen! Get the book - you will not be sorry! I only just received my book, and made the Coconut Chicken Curry recipe - delicious!! Now, I am cautious about spicy food, but took a big gulp and marinated the chicken in all that garam masala and other spices, and it was fabulous! Not overly spicy, just right.I love the spice mixes that she lists in the front of the book, and that I can substitute chicken for some of the recipes that use meats that I donât eat. On the basis of the few recipes I have made so far, I would urge you to just but the book - you will not be sorry!

Review: I was recently diagnosed with ulcerative colitis like the author, Danielle Walker. I was struggling to transition to my new lifestyle and feeling very sad with food choices recommended for people with autoimmune diseases. After some digging, I stumbled upon Danielleâs cookbooks. I ordered her first one and started cooking. I am thrilled with her incredibly tasty recipes as I live to eat! I have yet to cook one that isnât outstanding and I have cooked well over 50 recipes from her previous cookbooks. I own all 5 of them now. Danielle Walkerâs cookbooks have given me a new lease on life. I have never felt better and I have more energy than I have ever had in my 51 years of life! I am beyond grateful for finding these cookbooks. My family and friends love all the entrees and baking I have cooked from her books so these cookbooks are for everyone.I canât wait to start cooking the recipes from Danielleâs latest book. After perusing the book, I know without a shadow of a doubt, these recipes will be every bit as good, if not better than her previous recipes. Not only does Danielle have incredible creative talent to continue to provide us with mouth-watering recipes, but she also takes into account the needs of her followers. Her latest cookbook provides this in spades. Please buy all of Danielle Walkerâs cookbooks. Each one is inspiring. You will never look at any other cookbook again after cooking Danielleâs recipes.

Review: I have to be honest, I love Danielle and all her previous books so much and have cooked endless receipts from all of them which, without a single disappointment were all absolutely delicious. This book however, left me super disappointed. Maybe I was expecting too much but what I was hoping for was a book filled with receipts that would work for life as a family with three kids. While there is a lot of focus on quick meals and practical meal plans that allow you to prep and reuse different items and I can totally see how this was designed to work for life with kids, but itâs just all food that my kids, who are not super picky eaters, wonât eat. I get that itâs difficult to be innovative with the receipts and still make it work for a family lifestyle so maybe I was just expecting to much ð¤·ð»ââï¸

Review: I have all of Danielle Walker's other books, and I like her approach. I was so looking forward to this book, but it was a disappointment. The recipes and tone are very "Southern California" and aimed at an affluent American market, and are not really going to work for my family. I don't have a large fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge and freezers etc. Ingredients like prawns and grain free vodka for example are not cost effective, as well as all of the grain free and dairy free specialty products. These might be readily available in the US at fair prices, but not where I am. In this worsening economy this is not going to be practical. Quite a lot of the recipes are adapted from cultures that use a lot of spice, as well as including other ingredients not suitable for those with GI/reflux issues like tomato, garlic, peppers, citrus, pineapple, etc.. There are quite a few recipes for making homemade spice blends/rubs that are hot and contain numerous ingredients I know this can all be adjusted, but why, when this is supposed to be a streamlined process for "Healthy in a Hurry"? In all honesty the recipes are nothing special and similar can easily be found for free on various UK food magazine sites. I wouldn't consider the recipes fast or useful for when one is in a hurry either. Sourcing and then lots of prep and batching to have ingredients on hand for later use. A granita recipe with a 45 minute freezing time? Pudding section in particular seemed to be an afterthought with a sparse amount of boring choices. With the cost of the book being insanely high right now (27.50) and for the amount of recipes I cannot use, plus the ones that would have to be adapted, it's not doable, and will be returned. Too bad as I have been helped out a lot by this author's original book. P.S. check the "Look Inside" feature to see the included recipes for guidance.
