Title: Simple and work perfectly as expected
Review: A thermostat functioning so well you just don't need a smart thermostat. All you have to do is to set it up to auto change between heat and cool and auto fan and that's it, it automatically switchs between them during early spring and late fall when temp can jump up and down a lot in the midwest (from 40F to 90F).A few things to remember: - When you first set up the thermostat, follow instruction closely and make sure the auto switch for cooling and heating is on. You can change it later but it takes time to find. - It's 5 and 2 days and 4 time slot setting: day, afternoon, evening, sleep so just estimate your time and set them up according to your liking. You can adjust it for comfort but keep in mind it's just temporary. Once the next set time come up, it will reverse back unless you put it in permanent hold. - Once a year or when you are going on a long trip, remember to change the battery. A dead thermostat can cause severe damage to your home AC and Heat system. And DO NOT cheap out on battery, get a quality one you know that will last. I bought a cheap battery before and it was dead in about 3 months and kept my system running so hot because it couldn't send stop signal to our furnace. I guess this is the only drawback. Once I got quality battery, Energizer, it's been running good for more than a year already.

Title: Excellent programmable thermostat
Review: My old thermostat stopped working & this looked like a good replacement. I took a chance on buying a returned item for a lower price. The installation was easy, just had to look at the wiring on the old setup. I like that the wires are held in place by tabs & not screws like my previous thermostat. The only uncomfortable thing i had to do was go in my basement to turn the furnace off before replacing. Programming was easy but you do have to read the instructions. It has a quiet "click" sound as most of these do, when the heat turns on but you only hear it if you're right next to it.

Our ancient thermostat would no longer work in program mode and we needed a thermostat that could be programed to come on while we were away from home to utilize our photovoltaic system while we were gone rather than having excess power dumped back into the grid. The price was right on this one so we went ahead and grabbed it. The installation instructions were great and very detailed to ensure all the correct wires from the HVAC system were placed in the correct slots. The mounting system was simple and effective and I was able to uninstall the old thermostat and install the new one in about 10 minutes. Another 5 minutes of programming and we were good to go. Our old thermostat had paint all over it from tenants before we bought the home, this one has a small core that mounts to the wall and the main display easily pops off to paint for a clean paint job. We have identified only two things we do not like. First, the initial programing is done using system codes so loss of the user manual would make it impossible. Second, it runs on a one degree temperature swing so the air conditioner kicks on and off several times an hour. I would rather the thermostat allow a two degree temperature swing permitting the system to run for 20-30 minutes at a time rather than 10-15 minutes at a time. This would reduce the number of start-up high power draws and reduce overall wear on my air conditioning system. All said though, we are happy with our purchase and what we got for the money.

Title: Lower Electric Bill / Works Great!
Review: Power (FPL) company allows you to see what your upcoming electric Bill is estimated to be. They are very accurate within a dollar or two. Installed this thermostat a well and half before the end of the biking cycle and the power consumption dropped over $50. For the 2nd month, it's already about $150 lower. I like the convenience of setting the schedule and not having to raise or lower the thermostat daily. Had to use Youtube and watch different videos on how to set up the schedule. Seems more complicated than it really is to set up. We only use the A/C. No need for heat anytime during the year.

Review: This product seemed impressive and I ordered it well in advance of the arrival of the Professional Electrician who attempted to install it. It was his opinion after carrying out tests that it was unusable as far as England's present IEE regulations was concerned. My Heating Engineer looked at it as it was past the returns deadline and he had never seen anything like it and was far too complicated an installation for the function it was supposed to perform. That was the opinion of people with more than fifty-five years of working experience between them. Nuff said.

Review: After 30 years of reliable service, I had to replace my Honeywell Chronotherm III Thermostat due to LCD Display issues. I replaced it with a new Honeywell Home RTH6360D1002 setup to control a Heat Pump AC providing Cooling and Heating.The only thing I would have liked, is it to have an adjustable dead band, so I could adjust/tune the on/off control temperature.Issue: no fault of Amazon as the device came in a sealed box, the new unit's Display came with scratches (refer attached photo).Overall, I was happy with Amazon's price, availability and delivery of the item which allowed me to repair my Carrier Air Conditioner.

Review: Easy to install, easy to set up, easy to operate, easy to read, nice looking, programmable, robust, reliable, and affordable. I am a 65 year-old female, and I installed and set it up myself. I especially like the back light and the fact that the clock adjusts automatically between daylight savings time in the Spring and standard time in the Fall. I like the fact that it's neither too small nor too large, and white/grey in color (unlike some of the blue or orange Wifi thermostats - I didn't need a Wifi thermostat, nor did I want the extra complexity associated with installing one). There is virtually nothing about this thermostat that I don't like.
