Don’t go in the attic...
When eight-year-old Hazel and her little sister, Bess, visit their grandparents’ farmhouse for the summer, they’re given one big rule to follow: Just don’t go in the attic.
Of course, that’s the first rule Bess breaks. And rule-following Hazel doesn’t have a choice. She knows it’s wrong to go in, but she has to get her sister out. And that’s when she discovers the reason behind the rule, a hidden time machine and a trunk full of stolen items from history.
It’s the beginning of a family mystery that takes the girls all through time to return stolen items while trying not to ruin history.
The first stop on this time travel adventure is to 1738 to meet a young George Washington and learn that you don’t have to wait to grow up to know you have what it takes to succeed in life.

Title: great book
Review: My 6 year old loves these books. We have purchased volume 1 and 2, and WE love them. Usually my husband and I switch nights when putting our daughter to bed, so sometimes we miss some chapters and we are honestly thinking about just reading the books ourselves, so we know what happens. I really recommend these books. They are fun, engaging and teach about history in a way. They are very cute! We love them.

Title: Awesome book
Review: My 8 year old loves this book. Sheâs not a big reader so itâs great when she finds a book that keeps her turning pages. Sheâs half way through and asking for the next one.

Review: Good novel read with suspense but not scary. And just enough history to learn without being boring. My daughter said it was really good

Title: Great book for young children.
Review: I have been reading this series to my 7 year old granddaughter, she loves it. It fascinates her because the girls in the story are around her age, so it puts it in perspective for her. She keeps me buying the next books, she wants to hear what happens next. Sometimes I think it goes into a little to much detail for children though, but she doesn't seem to mind.

Title: I liked it, and my kids liked it
Review: I liked it, and my kids liked it. But I wish there was more historical information. The only info we learn about Washington is the cherry tree story. The story of the time machine and sister interaction though is very good!
