Title: Just buy it! It works! Thanks Youtube!
Review: I want to start by acknowledging that I am not particularly knowledgeable about vehicles. I bought my 2019 Chevy Silverado because I needed a truck and assumed that, being one of the most popular trucks, it would be reliable. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I’ve experienced numerous issues with the truck, including problems with the transmission, air conditioning, alarm, and horn. The situation has progressively worsened, with the truck stalling, running roughly at various speeds, and exhibiting strange shifting patterns.I took the truck to my local mechanic, who advised that the problem might be related to the vehicle’s computer and recommended visiting a dealership. Despite having a 3rd party extended warranty, I was anxious about the potential costs, as warranties often do not cover all issues.I came across this device on YouTube and was initially hesitant due to the low cost. I considered opting for a even cheaper alternative but decided to invest in the more expensive one, hoping it would address the problems. I am pleased to report that this device has resolved nearly all of my issues. The air conditioning still has some minor issues when idling, but it's significantly improved. Most importantly, the strange shifting, vibrations, and other performance issues have been largely eliminated. The only remaining issue is slight vibration during shifts between second and third gear, but it is not nearly as severe as before. While I cannot guarantee this product will work for everyone, it has proven effective for me and likely saved me thousands of dollars in dealership repairs. It’s definitely worth considering if you’re facing similar issues.

Title: Works perfect! Highly recommend.
Review: I had 2 Suburbans with the AFM Cylinder deactivation 5.3L. I traded them in because the fear of them going out without warranty.I trade them both in for a 2020 Cadillac Escalade 6.3L also with the AFM cylinder deactivation with CarMax and 150k warranty.I purchased this device to ensure my engine doesn’t go out by deactivating the system.Ever since I installed it my MPG increased by at least 4mpg (I kid you not), the engine runs way smoother, it doesn’t hesitate like it did before, and it has always stayed on 8 cyl.I have only used it for 2 months but so far it has performed flawlessly. Mine doesn’t lit all the LED lights but only at the very beginning and then I think it only keeps 1 on or so. (Haven’t paid much attention).I never take it off and it has not killed my battery or alike. It is installed on my daily driving car.

Title: Works and didn't drain battery
Review: I purchased this for a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado with a 5.3L V8 engine. Shortly after purchase I took a road trip 1,500 miles, it performed flawlessly and kept the engine in V8 mode the entire trip. Not long after that I went on vacation and left the truck at home for 3 weeks, with the module plugged into the OBD port, on purpose. I had seen comments that on some vehicles it may drain the battery if left plugged into the OBD port and the vehicle isn't driven for an extended period. I left this plugged in for 3 weeks while I was out of town and when I came home the truck started right up, it didn't drain the battery by any noticeable amount. The only problem I noticed is that the monthly OnStar reports from the truck contain less detail and include a statement: "We were unable to successfully complete a diagnostic test. This issue may be caused by an aftermarket device plugged into your vehicle's diagnostic port."Shortly after I started the truck after the 3-week vacation, I got a full report from OnStar, but other than that, the reports I get don't have OBD related data (tire pressure, fuel level, etc.) and just state that OnStar can't get that data because of an aftermarket device plugged into the OBD port.Other than the OnStar issue, it works great, the engine runs very smoothly and the transmission shifts smoothly. I got 16.5 mpg on the highway with the module plugged in, it is a very heavy (6,000 pound) 4X4 truck but it is rated at higher mpg than that on the highway, not sure if that 16 mpg was from the module keeping the engine in V8 mode all the time or not. I just got the truck and never took it on a highway trip before I put the module in, so I don't know what it would have gotten by switching to V4 mode at highway speeds, I can't compare highway mileage before and after.I am happy with the module and I am hopeful that keeping the engine in V8 mode all the time will avoid the problems that eventually happen with the lifters and associated components in the system that switches between V8 and V4 modes, there are a lot of reports about that system being problematic.

Title: Works as designed, eliminates AFM, reduces shifts.
Review: No major changes in fuel mileage, no battery draw in my 2015 Silverado. Glad to eliminate some shifts and stay in V8 mode. It certainly has made a difference when trailering. On grades or under load the transmission doesn't have as many shifts to make when going back and forth from V4 to V8.

Title: Overpriced, but works perfectly
Review: Well, I believe this is a bit overpriced for it being a program to trick the ECM to not activate the DFM properties. What I will say is that it was very simple to get it working. Truck off, plug it directly into the OBT-2 port, you'll see some blue lights flashing or flickering (which is normal). Then after it turns to a solid blue light, fire up the truck and you're off to the races! That easy! Now, at night when you're driving, the blue lights stay on. And.....when you let go of the brake, you'll also see the blue lights changing or adjusting according to the program. Goes to show that it works while you're drive. Great purchase. It really does keep the engine in all 8-cylinder mode.

Title: Works awesome
Review: It is just plug and play. A bit pricey but you know what. I plugged it in, Started my truck and no errors/warnings and now always in V8 mode. So far no battery drain I find. I have a after market all SS dual exhaust and when just riding along it sounded like a bubble machine. Awful. Now always V8 and back to sounding great all the time.Thank you,Paul

I have been using this product for just over 1 year now and have not had any further problems with my motor. Everything is running smoother than ever. Highly recommend.
