Title: Loved it!
Review: Ok, so it's a teensy bit unlikely that things would occur the way they do in this novel, but if you put probability on the back burner for a bit, you'll really like this story. In today's social media-dominated world, it wasn't that much of a stretch to see something like Will's sudden popularity actually happen. Jayne's feelings about his unexpected rise to fame were completely understandable too. Each character had their own part to play, with their own bombshells to drop, which totally rounded out the story. And even tho I assumed things would end up working out, I was blown away by the ending. Great job Ms. Butterfield!

Title: A fun read!
Review: I read this book on a vacation while we were in Europe. It is a fun, light read - perfect for the trip! In the end of the trip we encountered damp, rainy days and my husband couldn't spend much time outside due to his asthma flaring up. I was glad to have this book to fill some of my time!

Title: :: 3 Pretty Little Stars ::
Review: I bought this book on a whim because I adored the cover and thought the blurb sounded really interesting and cute. Also, I adore chick lit novels and am always in search of my next "go to" chick lit author. Unfortunately, I can't say this is my favorite chick lit novel. It's cute and sweet, but felt like the pacing of the story was a bit wacky because it seemed like there was too much time between each chapter (which added enough confusion to throw me off) It was sort of like there was a fast forward button as in one chapter the heroine reconnected with her long lost friend of 20 years and in the next they were in a committed relationship that appeared to have been going on for months. Perhaps if each chapter gave us a date or something to signify how much time had passed between the chapters I would have liked it better? Maybe. Another thing that threw me off a bit was the sentimentalization of the stories hero literally becomes famous for his good looks and cooking skills which were recorded on YouTube. Sure, this COULD happen, but in a span of a week? A month? And then he's on the red carpet? Seems a little far fetched for me.Other than all of this (and remember this is just my personal opinions and preferences) I did enjoy the story and the characters. Jayne, the heroine, isn't your typical heroine as she is not the perfectly petite and naive woman we are seeing in many books and Will is very charming and lovable. The authors writing style is also very good as eve though the pacing was confusing, the way she voices the story is wonderful.Readers who are looking for a lighthearted novel, and those who enjoy the chick lit or women's fiction genre may want to pick up Me, You, and Tiramisu. Although my rating for this story is 3 stars, I would still recommend it to readers because I think many others would enjoy it.

Title: a wonderful debut: engaging, emotional, and entertaining.
Review: Jayne and Rachel are twins, bonded together by birth and a rather difficult childhood with an absent father and rather difficult mother. As soon as it was feasible, the two headed off on their own to London: Jayne to teach and Rachel to work in design. A random meeting with a stranger in the dentist’s office brings Will back into their life: the former Billy was best friend and constant companion to the girls one summer when they were teens. All grown up Will is amazingly good-looking, just as nice and fun as before, and he and Jayne have that connection that just sparkles – laughing at corny references, enjoying their life, food and the little things.As a person, Jayne is stuck in the ‘good girl” syndrome: always wanting to believe the best in people, she’s repeatedly disappointed by her mother’s jabs and jibes, and while Rachel, having built a skin of iron to withstand critique, Jayne prefers to ignore and retreat, letting things roll off. With Wil in her life, and her belief in his abilities and talents, she encourages his business expansion, offering cooking classes and posting ‘refreshers’ on the web for his students. When a video takes off from word of mouth in a Mom’s chatroom – the chase is on – and Will becomes an overnight star.Oh this was fun and funny! Jayne was so ultimately sensible, if a bit too nice, and while the connection between her and Will is palpable, the pieces she doesn’t share with him, but dumps on her sister and best friend Abi are all rooted in her own damaged sense of self and worthiness. Stuffing all of that down and away to ‘get along’ and be her version of “good partner” have Jayne at a crisis point, and when the paparazzi, the pressures and even her own overactive imagination come to a fever pitch, and a quiet getaway and equally quiet engagement weekend lead to tabloid headlines, Jayne breaks. Spectacularly and completely – the only thing missing was fireworks – although flashes gratefully provided by photographer’s cameras.With moments of drama, some new growth for Jayne as she adjusts (or aligns) her life to fit with Will’s newly adjusted priorities and dreams, plenty of secondary characters that shine brightly and bring issues and depth to the story and some truly wonderful surprises at the end- this book was a wonderful debut: engaging, emotional, and entertaining.I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Title: Enjoyed!
Review: I wasn't sure about this book until I was about a third of the way into it. Oh my gosh, I loved Jayne and Will's story. Jayne, and her twin sister, Rachel, survived a less-than-ideal childhood. Jayne is a teacher, and when she meets back up with Will, who she knew as a teenager, it was so sweet. But what happens when Will becomes a You Tube sensation with his cooking show? One can only imagine how that changes your life. Loved this book!

Review: Me, You and Tiramisu is a great read whether you are curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea or lying on the beach enjoying the sun. The characters are engaging and the writing takes you through a great journey with them. There are some real laught out loud moments and as the story develops you begin to see exciting twists in the characters personalities and lives which I love. And what can I say about the final chapter other than a perfect and heart warming end to a fabulous book. A really fun read - I look forward to Charlotte's next book.

Review: Only reason I bought this was because Amazon advertised a new title by Sheila o.Flanagan and when I followed the link it took me to Charlotte.s book. I actually e-mailed Charlotte to tell her ! The book is a good little read , it would be perfect for a holiday read or a cold wet Sunday afternoon . Don't think it'll win the Booker prize but good first effort

Review: An un-put-down-able read that will make you melt, smile, laugh, cringe and cry...sometimes all within the same chapter. Me, You and Tiramisu is a warm and light-hearted look at lives thrown into the spotlight by media and social media, whether the participants like it or not. The more I read, the more I cared about the characters and got swept along on their roller coaster of events. If you're looking for a book to escape into at the end of the day (or on the beach, in the coffee shop, on the plane...actually anywhere at all) then pick up this one. Just make sure you don't have anything urgent to do!

Review: Two childhood friends, will and jayne, reunite after nearly 20 years and an idea to improve will’s business means fame and fortune. But is it what they both want ? I liked the up to date idea of modern Britain and its obsession with ‘ celebrity ‘... anyway no more spoilers, I enjoyed this book.
