Title: 2-1/2 years in, and it's still working wonderfully
Review: I have now had this for 2 and a half years. I use it regularly, it is what I have been using for all my baking, toasting, air frying, and pizza needs. I won't claim that it always performs perfectly as everything needs occasional tweaking when cooking, but so far all labeling has remained in tact, and it does a good job of cooking whatever I put in it. I love that it heats up quickly, then starts the cook timer, which means i can just toss in whatever, set it, and let it do it's thing, meaning that for a lot of cooking, I never have to worry about dealing with a hot oven, and it turns itself off after cooling a bit, which adds to the safety if like me you are often in another room, and sometimes distracted well past the end of cooking. I found it easy to get used to button placement so that I can operate it with the kitchen lights off. There are a number of functions I haven't used yet, and I haven't needed all the accessories that came with it, but they are great to have available.Personally I use the 2 racks, the basket, and one of the baking sheets it came with regularly. If anything I would get a second basket as I tend to use that the most. I have probably used this just as much as my microwave since I got it, it gives that properly cooked flavor you just don't get from nuking something. For the pizza setting, I recommend either collecting your pizza as soon as it's done, or reducing the cooking time, as I find it will burn the top of the pizza if I don't get to it before it self powers off. This is a heavy power draw appliance, it uses most of a 120v 15 amp circuit on its own when cooking. Please keep this in mind. I also have a 1250 watt microwave on the same circuit, I can't use both at the same time, I get around this by starting the oven, then set a timer on the microwave for how long the oven needs to cook plus some variation compensation, followed by the cooking settings for the microwave. This allows me to set both up, and then just collect everything when it's all done!

Title: We are very happy with the Ninja DT-251
Review: We’re only about a week in of using our new Ninja. So far we’re very happy with the overall performance. The controls are easy to figure out and use. The Ninja preheats super fast, cooks very evenly, and the convection is slightly faster than our regular electric oven. We purchased a bamboo cutting board that sits on top of the Ninja. It has heat resistant feet and allows hot air to circulate out and is a very handy place to set a pan on coming out of the oven or keeping the instructions and a pair of mitts right with the oven. Good oven mitts are a must! The oven gets very hot. Fingered mitts are my next purchase. As other reviewers mentioned it is a bit noisy because of the fan but not a big deal. The crumb tray on the bottom catches crumbs, liquid spills, etc. slides out easily for cleaning. Definitely wipe the interior down after each use or two after it cools down. Overall we are extremely happy. I will post a follow up review when I’ve used more of the functions.

Title: Just perfect, beautifully designed and economical
Review: I am not a domestic goddess and I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to write one for the Ninja air feuer toaster oven. I totally love it and it has transformed.what I can do in the kitchen!! After hours (probably days) of checking different air fryer toaster ovens and readond 100s of reciews I ordered the ninja dt251 (and grateful.it was on special).I was terrified it would be complicated and I would not be able to operate it, but it came with great instructions, even each box is well labeled and it is very easy. It is so much prettier than I expected and it fits well on our countertop, actually taking up less width than our larg microwave. There is a good 4" clearance under the top cabinets and it does not radiate a lot of heat, yes it is warm to touch while it is going but I am not worried anyone will get burnt on it. I did wash everything and do the preheat as recommended and have used it three times now, for fries, a Bundt cake (my first cake in years!!, it was not a big mixture as I was worried it might do something wierd like overflow out of the pan, but I could have doubled the mixture) And dry roasting (on air fryer mode) cashews. All came out evenly cooked and Jimmy.I love love this, after living with an old gas oven (that was literally taped together but we didn't realize when we bought the house) and it uses heaps of gas (expensive!) And it gives off a lot of heat. Since we are in the throws of other major house repairs we have not even considered a new oven due to the cost, but the Ninja 10 in 1 is a lot less than having a new oven I stalled and I can cook everything we used to enjoy plus more. So glad I was looking at toaster ovens and found tthis, the degree of thought and design in these is so clear, even the nice little feet they have that won't scratch your bench. Beautiful, if you are considering this, I would encourage you to!!

Title: I like it
Review: I'm a single guy that lives alone in a place with out an oven. Been wanting one for a while now. I do have a basket air fryer. It's really good for most things. But there are some things that would be easier in something with a larger capacity. I was actually looking for a smaller toaster oven. Then I saw this on sale and decided to give it a try. While clearly not as a big as a normal oven this has a nice space. The cooking space is 13 inches wide, 11 deep (you can overhang pressing against the door at 12) and 8 tall. The 10 featured settings are related to fan speed. The slower the fan the quieter it is. The different fan speeds definitely affect the cooking time. Baking and pizza are the slowest cooking times, slowest fan speed and quietest setting. Whole roast is medium. Air fry and Air roast are high fan speed the nosiest and fastest cooking. If you are cooking in a different room you're good.I really like the little cook book. it seems to be simple recipes that demonstrate the different settings. Giving you a useful understanding for how the thing works and practical explanations for what the different settings do.Yeah. I'm happy with this. Seems well built. The controllers are intuitive. Big enough to be useful and versatile with out being too big. knock on wood, Hope it last a long time. I really like it.

Review: I did a LOT of reading of reviews, articles and descriptions before deciding on this model. I have never been so excited about a new appliance, except for perhaps my first washing machine, but I digress. I measured my available space options to ensure enough clearance for heat, which I highly recommend. While my upper cupboards have a decorative bar along the edge a scant inch above the oven, the dissipating heat is not significant and they only get warm, not hot.I did discover that the small heat vent at the top of the back part does put out a lot of heat and moisture, so condensation can occur on my tiles behind this, even with over 15 cm/ 6” of clearance. So I put my oven on a piece of parchment paper and it now slides easily whenever I use it - I just turn it left so the back points out to the side away from the tiles. If I had an open space to put it, this wouldn’t be a concern. (See photos of back and side of oven space on my counter)My first meal was a 5 lb whole chicken - oh my it was so moist and flavourful! Perfect with the thermometer and a rack of potato wedges baking above in the basket. I do have my own meat thermometer, but it is super convenient to have the smart technology preprogram exactly how you like roasts, chicken, etc done. That was worth the extra money to have!I’ve since made many meals, roasts, even a 11.5 lb turkey! Baking squash chunks, roasting carrots and other veggies, or air frying them is quick and easy. Fish fillets are not dried out or overcooked once you learn the timings...since we don’t eat fried foods per se, but do enjoy roasted and air fried foods done this way, I bought a second air fryer basket. I couldn’t find a Ninja one, so ordered a Corsori one and it fits perfectly on the rack. You’d not use two racks at the same time as two baskets so that works well for me. (See photo with two baskets in place).Cleaning is a snap - even the baked-on grease or fat comes off readily if you put the pans/racks in warm soapy water right away to soak a bit - nothing a little effort can’t remove. Giving the interior a good wipe after each use prevents a buildup of grease/fat that may be very small droplets, but do accumulate over time. I use a sponge with a plastic scrubbie, nothing that could scratch the metal. My only wish is that there was a better (and free) guide for times to cook various common foods. From what I’ve read, most people reviewed the Ninja cookbook and said it wasn’t really worth the money. I use the internet for ideas, although one does get good at estimating time and temperatures. So, would I recommend this - absolutely! It is nice to look at, intuitive to use after a few times, easy to clean, effective and efficient with heat, and I’m sure will save me money in the long run from not using my huge oven all the time! Now I need to update my microwave, as even this Ninja doesn’t completely replace reheating up a cup of coffee haha!
