Title: Amazon Basic is more than basic, It's excellent
Review: I'm a huge fan of the Amazon Basics brand. I exclusively purchase all my kitchen essentials from them because they are not only affordable but also of top-notch quality. The toaster I bought from them has been an absolute game changer. It's incredibly easy to clean with a removable bottom slot for quick rinsing. This toaster doesn't mess around when it comes to toasting - it works much faster than other toasters I've used. While most toasters take around 3 minutes, this one only takes 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Its toasting capabilities are truly exceptional, especially considering its affordable price. I highly recommend this toaster to anyone living in an apartment or small space who wants to save money while still enjoying a delicious breakfast.

Title: Better then expected...
Review: I bought this toaster back in July '24. My old Kitchenaid toaster finally died and I looked over most every toaster that Amazon sells looking for a replacement. Every toaster, from $20 to $200+ had recent 1 and 2 star reviews. I read them all. In the end I decided to go cheap and just get the Amazon Basics toaster. It's been 4 months now and the toaster has worked surprisingly well. It toasts bread evenly, the bagel button works as it should, and the heat/time control works perfectly. The toaster gets used every day to toast bread. or bagels and it does a good job on both. It's been worth 5 stars to me and if it dies tomorrow I'll just get another one !

Title: Sturdy Basic Toaster
Review: I've had this toaster for about a year now. I don't use it every single day. So far I really like it. It's sturdy and seems like it will last several years. I like the straight forward settings and how the cancel button is lit up. I took one star off because it doesn't toast evenly. It will toast to a golden brown on the side that faces the outer wall of the toaster. The inner walls warm the toast but doesn't brown the toast. Even when I set the time higher it will just get it to a light gold but not really brown it.

Title: Love This Toaster! Be Sure To Run 3 To 4 Empty Toast Cycles Before First Use As Instructed.
Review: I cook and bake extensively, all of our meals are eaten at home with food I prepare. Our old toaster was on its last leg. Purchased this Amazon Basics 2 Slice Extra Wide Slot Toaster as a replacement. Love it! Everything about this toaster exceeded my expectations.- Very durable construction and 2 extra wide slots for thicker bread, bagels, or waffles. The black insulating material around the toaster really helps keep the sides of the toaster cooled when toasting.- Easy to use with 6 shade settings, a bagel setting, a frozen setting, and a cancel button. Crumb tray is easy to remove.- Does a spectacular job of toasting (Pic of a toasted slice of my homemade sourdough sandwich loaf bread attached.)Important Before First Use: Be certain to follow the "Before First Use" instructions in the Product Manual before toasting for the first time. (Pic attached.) You need to run the toaster empty for 1 cycle on shade 6, and 2 or 3 cycles on shade 4 (I did 3) to removed any residual manufacturing residue from the inside of the toaster. (This is normal for a new toaster.) As stated in the instructions, I -did- get a bit of smoke at the start of the first shade 6 cycle, nothing in other 3 cycles. So be sure to have the toaster in a well ventilated area when doing this prep, such as by an open window, or under a stove hood that is on and venting out.A terrific value, too. I highly recommend this product.

Title: Great little toaster. It actually toasts!
Review: The last toaster I had was a very expensive one. Yes, it was large and held four pieces of bread but it didn't toast. The bread would come out floppy, even on the highest setting., If we pressed it down for a second toast to get some crunch...it only burned the edges. So I was skeptical when I purchased this Amazon Basics 2 side extra wide slot toaster with bagel function. First time use produced perfectly toasted, CRUNCHY toast. I am thrilled with this toaster and recommend it to my fellow morning toast lovers.

Title: Basic and Well-Made
Review: A toaster is a toaster. This model performs reasonably well, although bread on one side darkens faster than the other. Also, the temperature setting dial lacks any clear marking to point to the desired temperature. I solved that with a dab of nailpolish. The drop-down crumb tray on the toaster's bottom makes cleaning easy. At its low price, this unit is a bargain.

Review: This Amazon Toaster is neither amazing nor terrible. It’s good for someone looking for an affordable, no-frills toaster, but don’t expect perfection. If you’re just toasting regular bread and don’t mind occasional inconsistencies, it’s a decent option. Sometimes the bread sticks inside the toaster.
