Title: Tongue scraping is important!
Review: If you want to get aryuvedic, you can get a more expensive copper tongue scraper. But these are cheap, work great, and come in plastic boxes for travel.I bought them after an older friend got "black hairy tongue." Horrible! Don't get anywhere close to developing that condition. Scrape your tongue! And stay hydrated.

Title: Easy to use, great for travel
Review: I purchased these to replace the plastic one I've had for years that snapped. I like that this was a two pack and came with travel cases. They are not flimsy and are very solid, Easy to clean and to sanitize since they are metal. They are shorter than the standard plastic ones, but that didn't matter to me. The one thing I noticed that I've adjusted to is that the head is much wider than the standard plastic ones sold in stores. So, if you have a narrow mouth or have a sensitive gag reflex, this may be a factor for you. These work great for me, so I'd recommend.

Title: Well made, but I do not see the point
Review: I like the material and one-piece construction, so for what it is I would recommend it. However, I do not see the point of this product. Scraping metal against the tongue is a fairly abrasive process no matter how it is done, and frankly it does not work as well as simply using the same toothbrush as for brushing teeth. The texture of the toothbrush is more suited to mechanically removing the biofilm on the tongue, and does not cause nearly as much tissue damage as scraping metal against it. If you really have a penchant for metal tongue scrapers, I would say go ahead and buy this good quality tongue scraper. Personally, I much prefer gently scrubbing my tongue with baking soda and a toothbrush after gargling a dilute hydrogen peroxide solution. Works much better and does not damage my tongue tissues.
