Title: Screw Extractor Set
Review: I am by no means a professional, heck I cannot even consider myself a DIY.. but I do some fixes and as such I strip screws that I think I should invest in stocks for companies making screws since I basically fund their production by destroying them in the first place... This screw extractor has helped me a lot and does its job. Easy to use and I have used it from the small laptop screws to bike screws and bed frames, you name it I stripped it and this extractor has helped me all the way. I used to just pound on these screws that take me hours or days to figure out how to remove, now it takes me minutes or seconds to remove. Very much a life saver for somebody like me that barely knows what left is from right.

Title: Works great!
Review: Loaded it in my 3/8” cordless, reversible drill motor and used it in reverse to quickly and effortlessly back out a fitting broken off in my pressure washer.Kit includes a #1, two #2, a #3 and a #4 easy out/ drill bit combo. The #1-3 are all 1/4” shafts and the #4 has a 3/8” shaft. The included case holds them securely.Also a fantastic deal compared to similar tools at the nearby home improvement store.

Title: Might have worked
Review: I bought this for a stripped bike seat screw. The screw is very very stripped. There is actually not really much screw head left and what is left is pushed out around the bracket and looks almost melded together.I followed the directions by drilling a hole and then flipped the bit to try to pull out the screw. I felt the bit grab a hold and try to turn and then it snapped. I think if the screw wasn’t so head wasn’t so deformed it might have worked.

Title: The worst possible tool for removing really stuck bolts or screws.
Review: I have an old Toyota Tacoma that I have been working on. I was removing one of the fenders when a small mounting screw head snapped off, leaving the remainder of the screw in the frame. I soaked the remaining bit of the screw and the hole with PB Blaster for a week, hitting it with spray at least once and sometimes twice a day.I felt like today was as good a day as any to try to get the screw out. I again soaked the remaining bits with PB Blaster, wiped away the excess, and attempted to sink the drill side of the #1 extractor bit into the screw. It spun, but had no impact. Not wanting to potentially snap off the bit, because I know how fragile they are, I switched to a left handed drill bit that was the same size as the #1 bit in the kit. After the hole was started and I saw that I was going in straight, I switched back to the drill side of the extractor bit and got it to sink into the hole, down to the stop on the bit collar. I flipped the bit over and attempted to extract.Using a drill on a slow speed, making sure not to put too much force behind it, I saw that the bit wasn't extracting, instead it was grinding away the metal stem of the screw. I applied slightly more pressure and saw that it was just grinding away more of the stem. I stopped with the #1 and switched to the #2 bit. This time to make sure that I wasn't going too fast, I used a 1/4 inch collar/guide on the bit and fit the other end of the guide onto an Allen wrench. Applying minimal pressure and turning about a quarter turn at a time, I finally got the #2 bit to bite. The bit was down inside the screw and decent amount. Since the #1 hadn't extracted and instead ground away some screw material, the #2 was seated really well in the screw body.Now with extractor seated and biting, hardly applying pressure, I pressed the allen wrench slightly to the left, and that's all she wrote.Now the extractor bit is buried in the screw, making the job infinitely harder since you can't drill through it.I read that a grinding bit in a dremel should be able to grind the extractor bit down and hopefully cause it to crumble. I just destroyed one grinder bit trying to get through it.Now I am looking at buying another "rescue bit" to remove the extractor bit that is broken off in the screw. I should have just left hand drilled the screw out as best I could. This thing is more of a headache than it's worth.

Review: If you ever sheer off a screw definitely consider these because they're cheap and the get the job done, nothing fancy because you don't need fancy when fixing a broken bolt or screw you just need it to work and this set does.

Title: Well priced, but fragile
Review: I bought these to remove a rounded out hex bolt on the stem of my bike. After having a difficult time getting the extractor to actually bite inside the bolt, the bit shattered once it finally did take hold. The other side of the bit got stuck inside the bolt and I had to drill through the stem itself to get the bolt out.I'm still giving the product 3 stars because it would likely work in a situation where less force is required to remove your rounded out bolt. However, I did end up needing to purchase a new stem for my bike as a result of this purchase.

Title: Life Saver!
Review: I recently bought a floor jack that had two screws with stripped heads preventing me from removing the cover plate to add jack oil. After trying every hack I found online, I decided to try these. The drill bit is extremely easy to use, even if you haven't operated a drill before. They worked great and I had the two screws out in under 5 minutes, when I had previously spent hours trying to remove them. These aren't pricey and are a very valuable tool to have. I would strongly recommend!
