Title: Local New Yorker
Review: I've lived in New York the past 15 years and I began to realize 2 things. 1) I do not much about the city I live in. 2) I have not done much in the city I live in. I've been reading this book the past 2 weeks on the subway on my to, or from, work. Already I feel like I know NYC a bit more. I'm also planning a vacation later in the year to visit some of these places I've never been to, food I've never tried, or things I've never done.Only con is the font is a bit small, but it is still manageable. Maps and layout are amazing. Highly suggest to anyone waning to know NYC better. Local or tourist alike.

Title: NYC Guide for families
Review: A good guide for families, not quite the best for single people. I have no need to know where great ice cream places are (which please kids), but I might like to know where a good sandwich shop is and where the good bookstores are.

Title: The Gold Standard
Review: I've tremendous respect for the folks who put these together. It's an encyclopedia in your hands. It doesn't get better than this, folks.

Title: Print too small!
Review: This book is an excellent reference but the font size is tiny. It is very difficult to read, even while wearing readers in a well-lit room. I understand that the book is meant to be portable but it is of no value if I can't see the words.
