Title: Love at first sight!
Review: Daughter is absolutely in love with thesr towels! They are HUGE! I was shocked at just how big they were! Worth every single penny spent! These are not some cheap towel that will not hold up to the washer and dryer! These are well made! She has one for home and one for camping! The one for camping was originally my towel but gave it to her after I used it once. I personally couldn't use again just because the weight after drying myself was too much (lots of medical issues)! I would love to find a thinner one just like this!!

Title: This thing is huge!
Review: I've been looking for giant bath towels like this for years. Finally, I've found them! These are nice, thick cotton. As other reviewers have mentioned, they will cover you in lint balls while you try to dry off if you don't wash them a couple times first. But, after a couple washes, this issue goes away. I definitely plan to order more of these!

Title: Two Grey 40 x 80 Bath Towels - pleasantly satisfied. Detailed Review.
Review: Some Important information/ concerns near the end, if you're interested...Greetings from North Texas! (Yes it's customary to indicate which region of the state we are located in) Are you ready for a Detailed / probably longer than needed Bath Towel Review? If so read on . . .I was somewhat hesitant and skeptical prior to making the purchase for these, probably because of how large these are and how fair the price seemed. I bought them about a month ago and when the package arrived I opened and inspected them and everything looked ok. I was going to get them in a brown color since that's what my previous towels were but the grey ones were slightly less expensive and I'm not too concerned with aesthetics for bath towels.I already knew I was going to have to wash them multiple times to break them in with the removal of the excess cotton fibers. I did initially wash and tumble dry them 5 or 6 times (with cool water, less dissolved minerals keeps them softer), as each time I would dry them the dryer lint trap would be roughly 80% full (again this was expected). There also was some left over wet fibers in the washer so expect that also - you can just do a quick rinse cycle if it's excessive or wipe them out with a damp cloth if you need to be extra conservative with your water usage. I also trimmed off a few loose threads with scissors, nothing excessive. After that I would use them once, then wash again, and repeat that process several more times. I've probably washed them, in total, around 12-14 times now and I still get a noticeable amount of lint after drying them although it has diminished significantly. They are now slightly more coarse in the over all feel compared to when I first opened them but that's just how cotton towels are. Every set of cotton bath towels I've ever owned have been that way, so to me there's no surprise there. They are performing as expected.As far as the size goes I've never owned bath towels this large, 40x80 - wow. I'm a fairly large man over 6'ft tall / 250+ lbs and the size of one towel is more than enough for me. Even for really super Giant sized guys I think one towel would be adequate for them to dry off their entire body.My Judgment: Would I recommend them to Family or a friend? Yes I would. They are holding up quite well, so far. They seem to be constructed well and I have my fingers crossed for the long haul. Also, considering the price and the size of these towels - they are by far the best value in terms of cost that I've ever made for bath towels (I've been around a few decades).Bonus Advice / ConcernsI will point out that while you're washing bath towels, or any kind of clothing for that matter, you should NEVER use chemical fabric softener - it's way too much to go into here but basically it prevents your towels from absorbing water like they're supposed to and worse than that the chemicals you're using will bond with the cotton fibers and then will be in contact with your wet skin. Please give that some thought and let that sink in . . . If it still doesn't make sense to you PLEASE do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to research it online and hopefully you'll understand why it's not a good idea. I'm fairly confident that at some point in the future these types of products will have to change their ingredients due to health concerns of the consumers that use them. I wouldn't be surprised if they're already illegal in some countries and/or States (CA) here in the USA.

Title: some color discrepancy, decent towels
Review: bought the sage green, its not a deep rich green like the picture. its sage green but murky, lighter. looks faded already. i will still keep them as it works for my bathroom. washed them in a full load with other clothes on cold, low temp dryer. no bleeding. lint was normal for cotton towels imo. there was no lint in the other clothes. it was around 2mm thick in the trap. I expect it will continue to shed for a few washes. they feel nice. as others have said the face cloths are thicker than the towels. the seam didnt crumble or distort after the dryer. there were a handful of loose threads on a couple of the towels. not bad tho.so far so good. these will get used daily so will update how they hold out to rugged no fuss treatment. i dont coddle my laundry. ive read some reviews on all the steps people take to wash these towels, lol momma dont have time to do multiple rinses, soaks, vinegar treatments, spot remover etc. for common towels

Title: Best towels!!
Review: Honestly I’ve bought multiple brands and this one is the best bang for its buck! It does take a few washes before the towel is “absorbent” but once you get the initial softest fluff out they’re super soft still and then absorbent! And honestly I’ve had these for over 2 years and they’re still soft, I’m getting rid of other brands because they didn’t last as long and replacing with these!

Title: Not Like the Towels of My Youth
Review: I know, I know, I sound like a cranky old person. However, some things WERE better. Such as the climate. And towels; which, by the way, were made in the USA and superior in quality to these. These may have been made in the US but I was unable to ascertain that fact. My point is, these are not as absorbent as I would like and leave a film of moisture on the skin. Fine for summer but will be most unpleasant as it gets colder. If it gets colder.

Review: I don't find these towells thin. I'd say they are medium weight which I wanted because they will dry more quickly. At first I felt the colour wasn't exactly like in the photo on Amazon but although it's brighter the colour is plenty dark enough out of the plastic. Happy with this purchase and with the fact I could buy hand towells and facecloths without buying bathtowells.One thing that is unusual is the fact that the decorative band (not sure what to call that) is only at one end of the towell. Now I've always thought those bands, if too larger are a waste of useable towell so this doesn't bother me.
