Title: Good fan
Review: So far I like this fan. It blows out a good amount of air and the ion setting is wonderful. It’s easy to use and figure out and was easy to put together as well. It’s not noisy I barely hear it at all. The air is nice and cool and it works great so far.

Title: Excellent fan for a bedroom!
Review: I purchased this fan from Amazon earlier this year and I absolutely love it! I was looking for a fan for my bedroom which faces opposite the wind, and needed something that provided some kind of air filtration. After searching for almost a month, both in stores and online, I decided to get this fan because it provided all the components I was looking for and it was available at a great price.The timer function is quite useful. I have been predominantly using the fan's lowest speed setting since I received it. It is relatively quiet and the air flow is very good. Usually mine is running for a few hours while I sleep. I could imagine using this fan in a bigger room, but the speed setting would probably have to be higher. In a living room, the medium speed would be a minimum. The ion feature seems to be working well. Sometimes it makes that "ionic plate" sound but I don't find this to be bothersome and it is not excessively loud. I'm not sure how to clean the ion plate on this tower fan. Hopefully I can find the manual because it's about time I do. I will update this review when I do that as well.Mine did not come with a remote when I bought it earlier this year. Was it supposed to?Assembly was smooth and was easy. I did it without reading the instructions, so it is very straightforward.One thing I should point out is, the base of this tower fan is not very sturdy. It tends to wobble if you bump into it.So to recap...Pros:1. Price.2. Easy Assembly.3. Function options.4. Quiet and air flow is great.Cons:1. Base is slightly wobbly.

Title: Good Deal - but also get the right spanner
Review: If you buy this get the _correct_ spanner screw driver so you can take the cover off to clean and oil properly. Wish they included one or even sold the correct one separately. Clearly, they don't want you to take it apart, because people aredumb or manufactured obsolesces. The first one I had, the motor burnt out, but it was more than 10 years, running all summer long, so I guess I got my money's worth. If I had the spanner I would have cleaned and oiled it more often. When the motor started to break down I eventually found the right screw driver, took it apart and figured it all out. I stopped when I got to the motor, if you can rebuild them the fan will probably last maybe another 20 years, which is why I bought a similar model, and because of a great discount and coupon. This is a bit of a newer model, the air flow is good on all speeds, pretty quiet at low speed, good white noise all around, but oscillating can be clicky if not on a level surface. Timer is great, it works. The remote is still pretty crummy, have to line it up just right. If you can get the spanner and take care of it and if you can get a good deal, grab one.

Title: Perfect tower fan
Review: I like this tower fan. It makes cool air, It has negative ionizer, feel clean air. When the ion power on, the blue light is annoying, so I covered with a small piece of paper. Setting is no problem, looks nice, not so noisy, nice price.

Title: Buy it if it's still less than the others
Review: UPDATE: the fan quit working after 2 years of intermittent use. I won't but another one of this brand for 2 reasons. The first is that 2 years is simply unacceptable for this type of product. It should have lasted longer. The second is that upon finding it not working, i took it apart to clean and service it in an attempt to squeeze more life out of it. It was a hassle to take apart and though i was able to get the motor spinning again, there is an integral part, which looks like a relay, with exposed contacts. I live at the beach where everything rusts and I found corrosion on the contacts and observed arcing across them. I could probably find and replace that part but as it stands it is a fire hazard. I decided it was no longer worth it to continue to pursue fixing this fan as it was clearly designed for light duty and apparently that's just about 2 years. I bought a new fan from a competitor that is very similar but it's designed to be able to remove and clean the fan instead of using hidden torx screws as this lasko does. It was good while it lasted but this will be the last Lasko for meOriginal: I'm pleased with this. It's the second fan of the type I've purchased. The other was a Honeywell brand. They are about equally quiet, equally effective at moving air in the room, remote and functions work about the same. I bought this one this time as it was about $10 less than the other though i think i paid about the same for the other fan about a year ago. The point being that for $50 or $60 fan this is great and equal to it's name brand competitors. I don't see much difference from one to the next when comparing similar fans of the same quality and specs and for me it came down to price.

Title: Long Lasting
Review: I've had the exact fan i'm reviewing for over 3 years now and it still works fabulous! Exactly what you would expect with a tower fan. Space saving, light to max air flow, quiet and subtle, even a remote!My only complaint is ease of cleaning.It's difficult to open the front or back face plate to clean so what I end up doing is taking it outside and run my leaf blower over the front and back slots several times till I no longer see dust coming out from either side. It will sometimes make a noise when running and I think it's from the force of the air but how else am I suppose to get all the nasty build up out?

Review: El ventilador es genial, muy fácil de armar, un diseño muy bonito, casi no ocupa espacio, solo 3 velocidades pero las necesarias y lo mejor es que casi no hace ruido, el único punto en contra, que es l problema de todos los ventiladores de torre, es que no se puede regular la inclinación pero el amplio espacio de salida de aire lo compensa. El envió fue super rápido, llego un día antes, y aun mejor comprarlo en oferta.

Review: I bought this a year ago. it is now one of the hottest, most humid weeks of the summer. I love this fan. I keep it about 15 feet outside my bedroom, in the hall and it sends out a delightful breeze so I don't feel the heat or humidity at all. It's not totally quiet, but its fairly quiet. I usually use the "ION" setting, although I don't understand what, if anything, it is doing as I don't feel a difference if its on or if its off. The fan has 3 settings and keeping it on "low" or "medium" is fine. Its on all the time this summer and continues to work great, as it did all last summer. Great fan, decent price.

Review: Although fans in general are grossly overpriced this product was great,.good airflow, much better than the standing fan i had before. Sadly I had gotten used to the hum of the old fan and this one is extremely quiet even on higher settings.Haven't used the remote at all yet.
