Title: Excellent game for a 2 year old
Review: My 2 year old son loved this! The first time I gave it to him it entertained him for a solid half hour. It was staggering! My chomping noises every time the worm dropped into the birds mouth may have helped :)This toy is great for hand eye coordination-the worms are relatively easy to catch with the magnets, with just enough leeway that it was not too easy for him. I love the different colors, so I could say, “the birdie is hungry for a green worm!” Or, “the birdie wants to eat a blue worm!” This would make him detach any other color he picked up while I was talking to make sure he found a worm of the right color. Really nice way to practice colors! It would probably be easy to paint the worms different colors as well-as it stands, there are 2 of each color, so painting half of them could open up more colors to practice with that are missing. I also love the little opening in the top that the worms can be stored in to keep it together.Simple but great toy that keeps my son entertained whenever we get it out!

Title: Woodpecker worm toy keeps them busy
Review: Something a little different for our two toddler grands. Boy and girl both liked it.It combines dexterity with make believe and also taking care of a bird. Its so cute.At first we helped them figure out how the magnet worms worked but then they got it on their own.Warning--the worms are small parts that could be dangerous if yours puts anything in their mouth. Or if there are younger babies in the area.Highly recommend for age appropriate toddlers.

Review: I liked the concept and got it for my 1 year old girl, so earlier than recommended. She only plays with it under adult supervision, since sometimes she feeds herself with the worms, instead the baby bird.It is first magnet based toy I got her, and she absolutely loves it. It's been numer 1 for many weeks now, she reaches for it every day, multiple times per day. We got a lot of noisy toys from friends and family, but there is no comparison in the level and length of the engagement.At first she would ask us to use the magnet to pull out worms, since she didn't quite understand it, but then when she started to get it right, the grin of pure pride on her face was priceless! It's also interesting how she tries to use the big bird on different items, as well as trying different tools (like a spoon) to pick up the worms, which helps her learn about and understand the world!Only negatives are that the eyes on the big bird come off/faded really quickly, and that I wish there were some extra worms in the box, since against best efforts we lost two.
