Title: Great camera, batteries last forever.
Review: I purchased this same camera last November. I had several cameras out and after the end of the season I left them out. When I checked them in the spring they were all dead, except this one. I was shocked. It takes good daytime photos with very few false triggers and rarely misses movement. However its night photos are not the best. But I am really not concerned about night photos. One of the best series is a mama deer gave birth right in front of the camera and the sequence of pictures is great. It is now October and it is still using the same batteries from last November, unreal. For the cost, it is amazing. As the other cameras give out I will be replacing them with this model.

Title: Works great for me
Review: I purchased this after I tried several in home security cameras that will not hold wi-fi - kept losing connection; so tired of ordering and having to return these cameras so I decided to purchase this trail cam for in my home; since it works on batteries I don't lose connection. So one of my four dogs keeps pooping in the middle of the time on my carpet - I don't know who it is so purchased this to find out. Arrived yesterday so used it last night - guess they figured out I could catch one of them so they decided last night not to have an accident so still don't know but checked it this morning and it did catch me getting up in the middle of the night; clarity was great. Easy connection, great picture quality, easy to use and it's portable - as stated I've only had 1 day but so far I'm happy with it. Just pull out your SD Card, plug it into your computer and all your pictures and videos pop up. I may be ordering more for other parts of the house

Title: Product description is accurate
Review: Trail Cam ReviewWe received and installed our Vikeri trail camera about four weeks ago so I cannot comment on its long term durability. That said, it appears well built with a good weather seal so I expect it to last a long time.In the short time we have had it the weather where we installed it has varied between 15°F and 45°F and we have had strong winds, rain and snow. The camera worked well through these extremes.I mounted the camera to a tree with the included straps aimed so that wind blown branches are out of the field of view. Its detection capabilities seem to be good without too many false triggers though during the strongest wind gusts there was a couple of recordings of moving branches. The camera has successfully captured animals as small as squirrels at up to 45 feet away and as large as a bear at about 30 feet distance. The bear, a bobcat, and two different coyote recordings were when it was dark and the images recorded using the IR LEDs are quite good. Daylight recordings include the above mentioned squirrels, a neighborâs dog and a trespasser. Image quality for the daylight recordings is excellent. The camera came with a mount that can be screwed onto a wall or maybe even something like a 4x4 post. But the camera seemed less stable than I wanted so I used the included straps to attach it to the trunk of a large tree. The design of the back of the camera body and the strap system makes this very stable when strapped to a tree. The instructions were clear and setup was straight forward. Setup consisted mostly of the date and time, what information you want burned into the video, video quality, recording length, etc. In most cases the defaults were reasonable and made sense.I am very happy with this trail camera and I am seriously considering getting another one to cover more area around our mountain cabin.

Title: Produces very short night videos only, response time is very delayed at night.
Review: The positive is that it produces very high resolution videos in great color during the day. It's menu is intuitive and easy to understand, so set-up is straight forward. However, the negatives are enough to prevent me from buying this camera again. It suffers from a problem many trail cams have. That is, the night video is only 3 to 7 seconds long regardless of how long you set the video length for. You can set the camera for a 30 second video at night, but it simply will not give you anything close to that. Also, it boasts a quick response time from the moment an object moves into the cameras line of sight. But this camera's response is very slow. Animals that wonder into its line of sight are well into the frame of view before the video will begin to record. On rare occasions, nothing can be seen on the video at all. I can only assume that it's because the animal passed through the cameras view before the camera even began to record. This camera is only good for daytime pix and vids. It's nighttime performance is pathetic.UPDATE: I have found that if the batteries are low, the trail cam will produce shorter and shorter night videos. My night videos got as short as 2 seconds long before I replaced the batteries. With new batteries installed, my night videos are now 20 seconds long even if I set the camera for 30-second videos. That's typical of many trail cameras based on what I've read. Response time to activate the camera when something moves across its view is still pathetic.FINAL UPDATE: I'm returning this trail cam. It's video response time in night mode makes the camera too flawed. The camera turns on so late when something comes into it's view that sometimes the animal has passed by before the camera turns on, and the video show no animal. Most of the time, the animal is only in view for a short time as it leaves the frame. Also, the camera's sensitivity at night is only 5 to 7 feet. Any animal movement beyond that distance doesn't trigger the camera. The infrared light is similarly limited. It's a great day camera, but it's very poor functioning in video night mode makes it of no use to me. I'm reducing the star rating to 1 star.

Title: Really good...
Review: After having used this for a few months I say the following...it works and works well. Batteries go on forever, it seems. My only gripe after many uses is the playback screen is a little small, and this is a bit irritating to old eyes. But, other than that - this thing rocks. I've caught raccoons, armadillos and other creatures in the dead of night. I have two of these and do not regret buying them. It takes care of business and that's all I wanted out of them. Recommend.

Review: Set it at max sensitivity, it didn't detect rabbit from 2m at night.4k video is 4k by resolution but not by the image quality. Same with pictures.Battery life is bad, on 8 batteries hardly lasted 24h with only handful of images/videos taken.
