Review: I regularly use it for trail running. Fit is perfect and comfy. But i would say that my old speedcross 5 still has better balance in trail running. But for the price, the Peak is a good alternative.

Review: I have 5 pairs of the Speedcrosses and 9 fit me perfectly. A 9 in this model fits like a 10.5. Wish brands would be more consistent with their sizing

Review: I really love Salomon Speedcross shoes! My last 2 pairs were almost perfect. The only flaw was the hole the appeared up near the toes. I was using these for trail running and then decided to try them out at softball 🥎. Game changer. After wearing several name brand cleats the Speedcross was like running on a cloud. The new pair is the Speedcross Peak version. It seems to have a higher heal and a different tread as seen in the picture. I’ve played 5 games so far with a lot of running and I forget I’m wearing them. So let’s get to it.ProsA good pair of hiking/softball shoes for under $100 is almost unheard of.The size was spot on.Light weightGood grip. I have not slipped one time during 5 hours of softballSooo comfortable!I like how they lace up but I like how my older pairs lace up a little better.ConsTBD we will see if the same holes appear.ConclusionI really like my Salmon Speedcross shoes. They are very comfortable and work great on the trails and in the game. I just hope they have figured out the hole problem. 5 stars for now.Happy running!

Review: Great shoes, perfect fit for me, a bit expensive, I have had many pairs of Solomon shoes, unfortunately they do not hold up well, maybe 1 year MAX, I hike and use for playing pickleball, I love the quick laces, they are a game changer for me, no more laces, so I pay a high price for the ease of use laces and having to replace the shoes every year at a high price
