Title: Stories from a very dark place – illuminated by fine reporter authors
Review: True Crime Seven is a collection of writers who probe the mysteries, psychologies and facts of those who kill – serial killers, family killers, and just about ever kind of murderer. The True Crime Seven are - Ryan Becker, Nancy Alyssa Veysey, Kelly Gaines, Brenda Brown, Genoveva Ortiz, Kurtis-Giles Veysey, and James Parker. At time they write individually and at other times they write in pairs, but however they place these facts before us the results are fascinating insights into the minds of those who kill. Each of the volumes included in this set have been published individually, and this reader has read nearly all the books represented. The writing is consistently honest, straightforward, well researched, and factual reportage. Many of the names of the killers are well known to us all (eg.Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Robert Berdella): the news media is magnetized by these types of stories. But there are many less well-known killers whose atrocities deserve our attention. Why read books about murderers? Ask why television and cinema places these acts before us – audiences are curious about the bizarre findings. In this set those criminals are well painted and analyzed, and the result is a resource for helping us all be aware of possibilities… Strong work from a very strong team. Grady Harp, July 21

Title: A true crime smorgasbord
Review: There are 17 books in this anthology. I did not count the number of terrifying murder cases. It is apparent that there are multiple writers. Some of those writers are incompetent at best. That is proven by the prolific misuse of commas and semicolons. Punctuation has rules. Its function is to allow the reader to understand what the writer is communicating. The stories themselves offer a wide variety of murderers and their methods. In some cases it gives the reader a better understanding of the mindset of the murderer, what brought the person to decide that murder was the solution to their problems or how their miswired brains compelled them to take the lives of others, whether family members, friends, or strangers.416

Title: These True Stories Will Make You Check Every Door
Review: and window lock in your home and vehicle for days or maybe weeks to come. Although the stories tell many of the details of what happened to the victims it isn’t written in lieu of a slasher movie. It does give you a look into the warped mind of the killer.

Title: My review of this book series
Review: There were quite a few mistakes in grammar and spelling. Also, it would have been more interesting with some photos. However, I was quite surprised that many of the tales contained information that I had not heard before, such as the life of Mary Bell after she grew up which I found interesting. All in all, a pretty good read. Also about Bernardo and Ho!molka.

Title: Loved this series
Review: Really enjoyed the authors take on these murders did not glamourize them but characterized them as the monsters they were giving background on maybe what may have influenced the what may have made them into they're depraved characters but there was definite sympathy for the victims & their families and a demand for justice that so many were not awarded.

Title: Not bad for an amateur
Review: The subjects chosen were interesting and, while not the most obscure killers available, neither were they the "famous" ones like the Hillside Strangers or good ol' Teddy boy. I'm a grammarian and was slightly put off by language, syntax, and grammar errors but none were grievous. Overall it's an interesting read and well worth it.
