Add incredible chopping power to your kitchen with this amazing tool. The Salsa Master can make salsa, chop onions, prepare salads, dice tomatoes, separate eggs and so much more. It is a manual food processor, so it doesn't need electricity, but it will offer similar speed and results when compared to those expensive alternatives. With just a slight turn of the handle, you will be able to chop, mix or beat faster than ever, and the effortless operation will result in food that is cut 20 times faster than you could with a knife. A three part blade spins around with each rotation, so for every turn, you will be chopping several times, and in multiple locations. Each blade is also double sided, so you can cut in both directions for maximum power. Either way you turn it will result in chopping, so give it a couple twists one way, and then spin it back in the other direction for a quick and even cut. It can help you make homemade salsa for your next party, chop onions without crying, or even meatloaf for dinner. Handle Not Included.

Title: Best salsa maker ever!
Review: I first bought one of these salsa makers at the State Fair about 25 years ago, where they were demonstrating them by making pico de gallo, which was the best I had ever tasted. I have been using one ever since. It makes the best pico de gallo/salsa. Itâs so easy and convenient to use and you can quickly mix up a batch of your favorite kind in no time. I also use it to chop up all kinds of vegetables (onions, tomatoes, celery, lettuce, cabbage) to use in soups, coleslaw, chopped salads, hashbrowns, tuna and egg salad, omelettes, relishes, dressings, etc. I have had ones with bigger bowls, but prefer the smaller one. Itâs easier to use with smaller batches instead of cramming too much in the bowl. That puts a lot of stress on the maker and if itâs too full, it is difficult to turn. At times I have put probably too much in the bowl, and with continual use, it eventually cracked. I honestly think it was because of the stress that I was putting on the bowl by trying to chop too much at once and the vegetables were probably in too big of pieces,. So Iâve since learned that you cut the portions down and chop up in smaller batches. Some veggies need to be cut down or quartered before you put in. I use mine all of the time. I do hand wash mine instead of putting it in the dishwasher. If I have used it a lot, and Iâve had a lot of shredded items chopped up in the bowl, I will soak the lid in water to just make sure it cleans out all the nooks and crannies. I have never had trouble with any of the blades going dull, and mine have stayed very very sharp, and you do have to be careful when you are washing the unit that you donât cut your fingers. The salsa master that I have just purchased here appears to be a very fine quality, it is durable, it works perfectly, and it appears to me that it will last a long time. Iâve already made several batches of salsa, mixed up some coleslaw, chopped up vegetables for soup, and chopped up onions and tomatoes and jalapeños for a relish that I like to put on my hotdogs and hamburgers. The salsa maker has become a regular part of my kitchen routine and there are endless possibilities for its use. I will never be without one and this one works perfectly.

Title: Worked perfectly
Review: I the blades are very sharp. It chopped my veggies in a third of the time. The only down fall is that a handle didnât come with it. That makes it a little harder to operate. I will still use it as is and like I said it took my prep time to a third. Quick shipping.

Title: Great little chopper for making small batches of salsa
Review: I bought this because I love the salsa you can get in restaurants, but I'm not a fan of the jarred stuff you get in the grocery stores. I grow my own tomatoes and peppers so this is wonderful for a quick batch of fresh salsa. Now that it's winter, I decided to try making salsa with canned, peeled, whole tomatoes and store bought peppers. I really didn't think it would be very good but it came out surprisingly tasty using my little chopper. Maybe not quite as good as homegrown but still very good and even faster to make since I didn't have to peel my own tomatoes! It only makes small amounts at a time, probably enough for 2 people, but it's very fast so not a big deal to make more to serve a group. Also you still have to cut your food into smaller chunks to fit in here, so don't expect to just throw whole onions or tomatoes in here. This is very simple to put together and take apart for cleaning, but the blade is quite sharp so be careful when handling it. I like that you can choose how chunky or how fine you want the food to be chopped, versus with a food processor which mainly makes "salsa soup".Altogether, I was impressed with how well this works and how inexpensive it is.

Title: Much better than a food processor for making salsa
Review: Every time I tried making salsa in a regular motorized food processor, it would chop the vegetables too finely and make more of a liquid sauce than a chunky salsa. This little unit, on the other hand, is cheap and effective for chopping up the tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic and herbs. It's easy to use even if you're not very strong, works very quickly, and pretty easy to clean up as it comes apart with almost no time or effort. However, it doesn't eliminate chopping because even relatively smallish tomatoes (for example, sized about halfway between a jumbo egg and a tennis ball) have to be cut into halves or smaller before they'll fit in there, and the capacity is only enough for fairly small batches of salsa. It feels a bit flimsy and I broke one once, so they aren't all that tough.Pros: Makes good salsa very quickly, easy to take apart and clean, easy to put back togetherCons: Not very sturdy, not very large, still need to cut bigger veggies manuallyBottom line: If you make salsa, I recommend this. It really works well and the price is good (around $10 at the time of this review)
