Title: Does what it's supposed to do
Review: Got this device and lets just say it's straight forward...I have a Genesis gv70...plugged it into the USB spot for car play...boom it's a option that pops up for HDMI...I plug my game into it my phone into it basically whatever takes HDMI...I mean the play is a bit laggy with the games...videos decent ...but it gets the job done ....I play Hulu for my kids when I'm driving.... definitely a good investment for the tech people

Reviewer: Android car play does not work. You are able to watch the Firestick or whatever you plug into the HDMI port so not totally worthless. Still one of the only units I've going with an HDMI input.

Review: It was so easy to use! I hooked up my Roku & plugged the ottocast into my car. I clicked the hdmi option in the screen. Works like I was using a tv & the picture is clear ! Now when I have long breaks in between at work I can watch my shows in the car! So happy with my purchase!

Review: This is great for long trips or if you have to hand around a while in your car.Not only does it make Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless, yaay, but you can also plug in anything that has an HDMI out, brilliant idea.This now means if I have to wait a long time in the car for a reason I can quickly pull out my small retro handheld which has an HDMI out, plug it in and enjoy a few games on a bigger screen whilst waiting, now that is what I call and entertainment upgrade.I wonder if car manufacturers are going to incorporate an HDMI port in future cars and why they have not done this already, as it opens up a whole new world of connection possibilities for in car entertainment, probably a European or UK directive or something that says they can't for some reason.Installation could not be any easier, just plug it in, that's it.In conclusion, loving it.

It's easy to install but you do already need to have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay on your car.The wireless CarPlay feature works smoothly, eliminating the need for constant phone plugging. However, the HDMI functionality is where things get interesting. I connected my Fire TV Stick, and while it worked, I noticed some audio sync issues, particularly with YouTube.The device struggles with 4K content, so I had to downgrade to 1080p for smoother playback. The long cable can be cumbersome, and the lack of power passthrough for HDMI devices is inconvenient.Overall, it's a step in the right direction for in-car entertainment, but there's room for improvement in terms of compatibility and performance.
