Review: We’ve been using these for many months now and they’re still working perfect. The sounds seems good and the volume levels are plenty for what we need. Easy installation.

Title: Excellent purchase
Review: I got this on sale and could not be happier. I have it connected by ARC and love the fact my tv remote operates it with no setup. The sound quality is excellent

Title: Surprised Us!
Review: I was reluctant to buy tbh because it was for my husband and he’s serious about his soundbars. The last one blew out so I gifted him these and it’s actually good quality! It doubles from a soundbar to two speakers, which I thought was cool. We went with the two speakers option. It gets pretty loud as well. The only thing I will say is the bass quality isn’t all that great but if you’re looking for loud, this is it! According to my husband, it’s moreso a soundbar for the bedroom, not a living room

Title: Loud, cheap, easy, it's what most want
Review: I was skeptical on this purchase as it isn't name brand, but as it was just for my room, I thought I'd just buy it and it'd be "good enough". I have name brand in my living room and I'm already thinking about changing it to this. It was simple to set up, like no reading simple, plug this stuff in correctly and your tv knows and you're good to go, and the volume is incredible and so is the sound quality. I'm only on day one but so far I'm beyond impressed not only with my savings$$$ bit with the value of these speakers.

Title: Pretty good all around surround sound
Review: Not too bad at all. Crisp and clear sound with a lil bass. Lacks bass but I didn't buy it for bass. Great sound and great value for $

Title: Don’t waste your money
Review: Bought this in March, malfunctioned in May, literally had to go off after like 3 days of back and forth with customer service before they would just send me a new one, they wanted me to do all this troubleshooting that was pointless because white noise was coming thru the speakers and nothing else, they finally send a new one and now every 5-7 seconds the sounds goes out mid sentence constantly while people talk on shows and it’s only September. So yea. Save your money.

Title: Two kinds of connectivity!
Review: We live on our boat and needed something to boost the volume that would stay up or if the way (space saving is critical). This went up easy and, because we like uninterrupted sound, we installed the wired connection. Bluetooth was a little less consistent.

Review: Reasons To Buy+ Sounds noticeably better/louder than the built-in audio of most TVs+ Also good as computer speakers or any other use case where powered speakers are needed+ Splitting the speakers into two gives you better stereo separation than the soundbar configuration+ Includes cables for both orientations. The plug ends are keyed so they go in only one way, so you won't get the speaker polarities reversed.+ Includes the various cables required for the inputs+ The bass, while not boomy, does have some presence (inferior to a subwoofer, but way better than most built-in TV speakers). If it's not enough, you can connect to a powered subwoofer via a mono RCA sub output.+ The quick start sheet is very well done, especially considering that it's a no-name brand.+ Includes a remote (batteries not included)+ Includes stand bases and wall mounts for the speakersNitpicks / Hit or Miss* While not ugly, the speakers look better as a soundbar than a separate speakers* Hard to twist apart the connected speakers when configured as a soundbar* Limited to the EQ modes that are selectable from the included remote* I had trouble getting ARC to work with my TVs (Sony) - to be fair, I have had trouble getting Sony TVs in general to play nice with ARC with other devices, including name brand soundbars. While I could control this soundbar's volume with the TV, no audio would come out, even with the soundbar's recommended settings for Sony TVs. Your mileage will definitely vary.* If ARC doesn't work with your TV, you may need to use the AUX or Optical output instead. AUX (sometimes via the TV's headphone jack) is easier, since your TV volume will control the level to the sound bar (which you would set to some fixed volume) whereas Optical can't use the TV's volume control and will require you to use the volume control on the included remote, or require you to program a learning remote for its volume control codes.* The misleading "2.2" designation for the soundbar is definitely a "miss" for me. The number after the decimal generally refers to the number of subwoofers included in a multi-speaker setup. I don't think anyone would consider the two 2.25" woofer drivers to be subwoofers. So since this soundbar does not have any subwoofers included, so it should be marked 2.0, not 2.2.Reasons Not To Buy- While it's perfectly fine for most people, it's obviously not an audiophile grade piece of gear, so if you've somehow deluded yourself into thinking you can get a brand new **audiophile** class soundbar for $100, maybe you should pass on this one.Good Value? The one thing you have to keep reminding yourself is that it's a $100 soundbar. It's got small 2.25" drivers, and it's powered with a tiny wall wart, so there's only so much performance that you can squeeze out of it. It sounds good for its price, but it's not going to punch very far above its weight class. Pairing the soundbar with a powered sub will definitely improve the overall experience, but it's also going to increase the overall cost significantly - which few people spending $100 on a sound bar will likely do.

Review: The Ultimea Apollo S40 2.0CH Soundbar is a compact soundbar with good sound quality. Ultimea touts this as a 2.2 channel soundbar, but it really is not because it doesn't have a true subwoofer. The soundbar has 2 tweeters and 2 woofers, but a 2.25" woofer is far from being a dedicated subwoofer. The Ultimea has a compact footprint and is intended to be a soundbar for your TV. However, the S40 does have a subwoofer out meaning you can connect a powered subwoofer to make this a true 2.1CH soundbar. Having the ability to connect a subwoofer makes the S40 a better value than most entry-level 2.0CH soundbars because those have no option to connect subwoofer. The build quality is a plastic construction and versatile as the soundbar can be setup as traditional soundbar or setup as left and right mini tower speakers. On the rear, there are inputs for HDMI (ARC), Optical and AUX and the power input. Of course, there is the subwoofer out as well. The soundbar also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and inputs can be switched using remote control.Setup is simple, just connect HDMI cable or optical cable from your TV to the soundbar. While the soundbar can get decently loud, it's not going to fill larger rooms. In terms of sound quality, the S40 is a significant improvement over any TV's built-in speakers. The mids are forward and detailed, with speech sounding clear and natural. The highs are present but not bright but the bass is pretty much non-existent, unless you connect a powered subwoofer. I did find that selecting the Movie EQ improved the sound quality and the sound was fuller with more low end presence. Playing music on the soundbar over Bluetooth also sounds great with clean and crisp mids and decent highs. But again, the low end is the weak point with the absence of a subwoofer. Stereo separation is not great in soundbar mode, but significantly improves when using it separate left and right speakers. The volume when using via Bluetooth is average but at least it doesn't distort too much at higher volumes. Overall, if you looking for an affordable and compact soundbar for your computer or small TV, this Ultimea Apollo S40 Soundbar is a solid option. The sound quality is far better compared the built-in speakers in your TV or monitor.

Customers say

Customers like the sound quality, ease of setup, and value for money of the speakers. They mention that it fills the room up on low volume, has excellent noise control, and is a great addition to their game rooms. Some are satisfied with the quality. However, some customers are disappointed with the connectivity and reliability. Opinions differ on the functionality.
