Jessica and Elizabeth are ready to take on middle school . . . but are they ready to take on each other? The New York Times bestselling world of Sweet Valley Twins returns in these all-new graphic novel adaptations!

“This series should be as popular with readers as The Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels.” –Booklist

Jessica and Elizabeth have always been inseparable twins, but starting middle school means a chance for new beginnings! Elizabeth is excited to organize a school newspaper, but Jessica is more interested in joining the exclusive Unicorn Club. What will happen when the twins realize they might not be as alike as they thought?

Middle school is hard enough, but with these twins each dealing with becoming their own person--will they be able to stay friends at the same time?

Francine Pascal’s beloved Sweet Valley Twins comes to life in a brand-new graphic novel that will have old and new fans delighted as they meet Jessica and Elizabeth in graphic novel form. With the lively artwork of Claudia Aguirre, Sweet Valley Twins: Best Friends is a contemporary middle-grade graphic novel filled with heart, laughter, and lots of twins.

Title: Cute Book
Review: This is a pretty cute book about twins trying to figure out who they are individually while still trying to stick together. I got this because my fourth graders love the graphic novel adaptations of the Baby-Sitters Club, so I figured they’d enjoy a new adaptation of another classic. The ending felt a little chopped off, but I guess that’s because they’re continuing in a second book.Overall I felt that the book is pretty appropriate for fourth graders, but there is one word in the book that was questionable. Some people don’t mind the word “pissed”, but for others like me who are just teachers trying not to get in trouble for anything in their classroom libraries, this might be a deal breaker. I wanted to post on here and make sure other teachers or parents have the opportunity to make informed decisions before buying this book. The book does say “pissed off”, and it also talks about a girl wearing a red bra under a white shirt.

Title: Basically same storyline as original
Review: Brought back some memories from my childhood. Some details have been updated, like adding cell phones and seems to have more diverse supporting characters than I remember. My 10 year old loved the graphic novel style and couldn’t put it down! I think she finished it in a day and a half by picking it up every time she had a free moment.

Title: This was an amazing, nostalgic book for sure!!
Review: I have been a Sweet Valley fan since 1983. I was so impressed with this book. It followed the original storyline, it was amazing visually and I felt all of those feelings that I used to feel when I was young getting Sweet Valley books at the bookstore each month. I LOVED IT
