Title: Well so far, quite happy and impressed.
Review: Of all the devices similar, this took the cake because of pricing and bluetoothe capability. The other technology that requires a license (which is easy to get I hear) is supposedly more distance, but it turns out that this is just about as good. It's very attractive, a great little screen with great indicator lighting and information, nice usb c charger port, super easy buttons (but reading the instructions a must), the side buttons are super easy to use, very comfortable and intuitive for the hand. What a winner. The one thing hard to understand is why the bottom has such a small base. You can stand it up, but it has to be a nice flat surface, straight surface. Would be nice to have a big, flat base you could plunk down anywhere. But maybe there's a reason for the gap as well - maybe to hang on your pack? Haven't explored all the features - but use it often to communicate. Love it. Price was very good for what you get. Also nice is that the belt clip does not jut out very far, nice and flat. The antenna is very sturdy, all in all feels great in the hand and does the job much better than our other well known brand. LOVE that you can use lithium rechargeable included and AAs. Rechargeable AA lithiums could be used as well, just got some of those from EBL and so far, fantastic. With a little portable solar panel recharger, that would be pretty all-in-one. A+++ for sure! A full power recommend!

Title: Good quality product, with responsive support and development staff!
Review: I purchased these over two years ago, and just threw them in my backpack whenever we drove in convoys for family trips and needed them as some of the route we take isn't covered by cell.I haven't used these for probably 7 months or so, and decided to do a gear check and ensure these still function, hold a charge, and connect to my phone. Everything worked but the app on my Android wasn't working properly and crashed constantly. I also noticed this was happening right after they pushed an update for the app in 12/23, so I contacted support and asked them. After following the recommend steps like uninstalling the app and reinstalling they escalated the ticket to the engineer team and within 2 weeks of my initial contact, they pushed an update to the Play Store and the app is now functioning properly.Overall, this is the type of service I would expect from such a large company such as Motorola, but it is still good to see some companies are still consumer focused and willing to learn from feedback and change rapidly. Thanks to Motorola and team for the awesome experience, I will continue to be a Motorola customer after this experience.

Title: Good, but could be better
Review: I bought these after my previous motorola two way radios quit on me after about 10 years of use. I use these for communication in the backcountry, primarily while snowmobiling. So far they have held up well to the cold and the snow, however, they aren't quite as functional as the old radios I had. I had been using a motorola brand mic extension that apparently isn't compatible with these radios. In fact, no accessory that I could find was compatible. Paired with the questionable clip on the back, there is no way I am relying on the clip to keep the radio near my head while riding, which means I have to stuff this guy in a pocket for quick access. I will be upgrading to something different in the future. A small issue I had was the charging port collapsed on one of the two radios, forcing me to switch to alkaline batteries instead. (I actually prefer alkaline for backcountry usage, so this wasn't a real problem for me)While these radios are quite poor for backcountry snow activities, they are still pretty descent for what they are. Conversations come through clearly, range is rarely a problem, and they hold up well in adverse weather. Also, the motorola talk about app can be paired with these radios so that you can utilize the radios signal to send texts and gps information. I have only used this once, so can't speak its usefulness. Over all, these are descent radios, should last a long time, they just aren't as useful as others for particular activities.

Title: Equally as good as our Rocky Talkies
Review: These stand on the same podium as our Rocky talkies. We where about 3 miles back into a deep mountain valley, our friends had a rocky talkie and another group had one of these and multiple times the two Motorolas where able to be heard vs the rocky talkies.Had these for about two years; one of them the battery is completely shot and holds no charge, replaced it with rechargeable batteries but they will not recharge via the charger port on the talkie. They could be louder, it’s hard to hear in high wind, or when you’re skiing/snowboarding. You often miss what’s being said when you’re in motion. The clips on the back are not strong either, they broke almost immediately and when they are in the cold the plastic stands no chance. Wish there was an alternative for mounting these to a person.Anyone can use these though, there is almost no learning curve, they fit right in your pocket like a cell phone and I will say overall these are worth the money.

Title: Really a pretty good Two-Way
Review: Took these hunting - while there are always issue with mountains and walkie-talkie communications these worked really well. At times we were miles apart and still were able to communication. We also were able to whisper and still could be heard.

Title: Good radio, terrible clip
Review: The radio worked flawlessly, we used it on a Cruise and worked just fine. The range was limited due to the boat’s construction I’m guessing but as soon as we were out of our rooms, worked ok for the most part. The clip however is just poor constructed. The clip itself doesn’t have a spring, so every time I was trying to attached to my belt, the tabs the held it to the radio started to deform. As you can now see in the picture, this clip is about to break. I’m sorry but this radio was not cheap and I will be returning it.

Review: My wife and I have been using them on a 50 acre off grid camp we have, I'm in the woods a lot cutting down the dead Tamarack trees and she likes to go for walks throughout the woods. These walkies get very clear and strong signal. Work great for our intended purposes.
