Title: Great product, nicely built
Review: I used this to repair two rotted 4x4 fence posts. They worked great and are built really well. The welds look great and it’s just a very high quality product. It was a nice surprise to see that with the hardware package was a drill bit and a magnetic driver socket for the lag screws. I will buy this again if the need arises******update******After having these in the ground for awhile, I would recommend setting them in concrete right from the beginning. I have two that I had set in concrete initially because the soil was too loose to just pound them in the ground and they are still holding tight. The one that I did just pound in the ground has started to work its way loose so I pulled it back out and set it in concrete also now. So be aware that over time they may loosen up in the soil and you may need to redo them if they aren’t set in concrete

Review: The product works great. It is a bit difficult to hammer in (we used a sledge hammer) as you have to take your time with each slam to ensure it’s going into the ground properly. Once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy.We reinforced two post that were really hanging over on both sides and the hold is solid. It’s like a new foundation for the posts!!!We reinforced two more, but only in one side as they weren’t leaning as much and since I’d bought an extra pair. One on each side though.Totally worth getting and much cheaper and simpler than refitting with new cement foundation.

Review: There are quite a few of similar fence repair stakes on Amazon but i went with this one because it seemed especially durable... but even with those high expectations, I was pretty amazed by how solid and heavy these ended up being.The fence was held up by piece of reinforcing wood by the previous owners and the entire section was on the verge of collapse: the movement of the post was already impacting the fencing attached to it and absolutely was going to collapse when I removed that wood piece if I didn't have a helper hold the fence upright. This mending piece absolutely held up the fence perfectly and nothing is going to knock it over.The kit thoughtfully included a drill bit to for a pilot hole as well as more than enough big anchors to hold the mending plate securely to the fence at 4 different points. The included anchors are hefty and to the same quality as the mending post itself.The only thing I wish I did differently was to dig a bit where the mending post would have been so it wouldn't be elevated. Would have looked better that way.
