Title: strong
Review: I have been wanting a canister for some time and I do not regret buying this one. It has strong suction and does a great job on carpets & bare flooring. All the tools are useful with convent storage. It has a pull when using, can't explain well, when vacuuming but I think that is due to the suction some how. The suction is adjustable with a slider. You can attach the hose with attachment to the bottom side of the vac., and sit the vac., on its back end for storage, takes up less room. The bag is huge. Hose length is good and power cord good length. I like the fact you can just step on a button and bring the power cord back in. Noise level about med loud, I have had louder. I feel a GOOD vacuum is an investment and I hope to have this one for long time to come, tired of looking for a GOOD vacuum. I do recommend this canister vacuum.

Title: Reliable and It Works
Review: I had my Shark vacuum for several years, but it got ruined due to water damage. I purchased another Shark vacuum since I loved my old one so much, but it broke within a couple weeks. Thinking it was a fluke, I purchased another one and that ALSO broke within 2 months. I have four cats and foster kittens in a mostly carpeted home, so I NEED a vacuum.I thought I'd try something different and opted for this one, and by golly it works! It's been about 6 months since eI bought this vacuum and I've had no problems. It's obviously bulkier than the traditional upright vacuums, but it didn't take much to look past that. What I like:-adjustable suction power-the tools are useful-since it's bagged, minimal dust escapes back into the air-light for a canister vacuum-it doesn't clog easily-there are FOUR height settings for the brush rollersWhat I don't like:-the plastic panels keeping the tools in is flimsy-this might just be me, but it's not the easiest to take apart and clean-it does fine on hardwood. It's not amazing, but it picks up enough that I'm satisfiedIt works, it keeps up with the gaggle of cats and all their shenanigans in my home, and it's great at trapping dust. Overall, it was definitely worth it.

Title: A quality vacuum but pricey
Review: So I LOVE Kenmore vacuums because of their reliability and they get the job done right! I've had at least 4 - which says a lot because it's the only brand I've owned in my 75 years. We have established they last, they have great suction and a variety of tool attachments. This one is bigger, heavier and more tricky to get parts together (and no it's not due to my age!). So I'm a manual reader (you guessed it, I'm not a man LOL) so the first thing I did after reading it was check everything out -open every nook and cranny. Don't check the rear filter! I spent over an hour trying to get it back in. Once I removed the filter to check it out and tried to replace it I could not get the cover to stay on. Each time I turned on the vacuum, it blew it across the room with rocket force (luckily this didn't break the cover). I could replace the cover easily without installing the filter - I eventually had to put the whole canister on the hose end and use my entire body weight to get that cover back in place. One thing's for sure it has a TIGHT seal - the next time I think that needs replacing, I'll be inviting a man over - hopefully he'll be stronger. My second displeasure is that having the floor attachment fit into the rug attachment makes it heavier & less manageable - it is wider than previous models I've had and doesn't fit under some furniture due to it's increased height. The crevice nozzle attaches under the handle (instead of being inside the canister with other tools) and it requires a extra firm yank to remove it and a study wack to reattach it. It has a few more bells & whistles than I've had in the past, but I'm not overly convinced yet they are worth the extra $$$. For instance, the dirt sensor comes on if it senses there is still something bouncing around in front of it - it's come on a couple times, but not in the high traffic areas where you would expect it- so am I convinced it's reliable? The slide button on the handle that changes it from floor to carpet moves too easily down to the carpet setting and the suction adjustment just below that is easily changed without meaning to if you grab that area to move the whole wand. Where the hose goes into the canister is not as smooth a fit and likewise the handle of that hose into the pole attached to the floor attachments. The floor light on the wand only comes one when using the carpet selection and isn't as bright or cover as much area as my previous model that had the light on a separate rug attachment. The suction is as good as they make and I do care about how well it cleans, so it will remain with me. It does have a longer cord, a fan cleaning brush, an indicator light for when the bag is full. But be prepared for a bigger, less mobile, heavier machine - if you're frail, can't lift 30 lbs easily and you're not a bit mechanical: look for something else. If you just want clean and have the extra bucks, you'll like this one. And it's such a girlie color...don't you hate reviews that just tell you about the color?

Review: Have seen some less than ideal reviews on this and clearly those individuals ended up with lemons (it happens, and should get a replacement for sure as their issues are for sure not right) because we are VERY happy with the new powered head vacuum with HEPA (step up from our 23 yo previous Kennore that finally died about a year ago). Purchased a Miele and used that about a year and was okay for hardwood but did absolutely nothing for carpet. Bit the bullet with Kenmore again during prime days and it did not disappoint!!! Could swear it did the 1-yr of missed cleaning of the Miele on its first go (ick).Pros:-very powerful cleaning, awesome suction-extendable handle (good for taller people, can store smaller),-attachments are great (yet to try the pet one)-4 levels of cleaning and transitions well with hardwood cleaning head,-self propelled so not hard to move around-long cord to manouevre with,-canister rolls well on the floor-bags are easy to change-replacement bags are less than seven in pack of six on amazon, brand name but can use knockoffs if you wantCons:-compared to Miele, NONE!-canister may be a bit bulk for some but if you can lift more than 5lbs with one hand its not an issue (soooo worth for the quality of clean!)Just hope we can get another 20+ years out of this one!

Review: It is a good vacuum with lots of power. A good choice of attachments. I like the fact that you can extend the wand which is good for walls, reaching up high to get cobwebs and if you are tall you dont have to bend down to vacuum if you extend the wand. Things i don't like (1) it is heavier than my last Kenmore. (2) they made the wand wider and its harder to get under furniture like the couch.

Review: UPDATE: now that I have used this for a bit there are a few things i find cumbersome - The hose to the vacuum while really sturdy for older people could be a tripping hazard as it is not to easy to move - the vacuum itself while great doesn't follow so easy and getting around corners it gets stuck and the power head on the wand is rather large and cannot get into smaller places so find myself using the pet tool or just the bottom of the wand but doesn't work that well plus the power head does not work great on stairs so have to use the pet tool on those. The sunction IS AMAZING - though it may sound like i am complaining I am not but people should know these things if going to purchase and have LOTS of stairs.Ok the only thing I can say about this vacuum is AMAZING the suction is adjustable and has great suction!!! Easy to put together and use I was hesitant but am so glad I purchased this vacuum my carpets look like freshly laid. I have two cats and the pet tool is absolutely perfect

Review: âThe Purple Oneâ - I ordered this for my Mom and sheâs thrilled with her new vacuum! The attachments exchange so easily, and the suction can be adjusted to a lighter flow for doing things like curtains or blinds. This model has a longer hose, and the easy-pivot wheel at the front makes it even easier to wheel around. LOTS of handy attachments. She doesnât have a pet, but the pet attachment with power nozzle will make doing furniture and upholstery even easier. The adjustable wand extends very long, which means that it can be used for vacuuming high places or walls. This one also has a longer hose length and longer cord length than most. Mom read lots of reviews on other sites before settling on this one, and it really is a lot of bang for your buck. Parts and replacement bags seem like theyâll be easy to access as well. If youâre looking for a canister vac, this is one to consider for sure!
Customers say
Customers like the suction of the vacuum cleaner. They mention it works excellently and is a superior stair vacuum. However, some customers have reported that the durability is poor, saying the rest of the unit seems flimsy. They also dislike the size. Opinions differ on its functionality, weight, cleaning power, maneuverability, and ease of use.
