Title: Love it! Works great!
Review: Saw it at my friend's place and immediately bought one myself!! It came with many accessories including two rolls of bags and 5 large bags. It is very easy to use. I learnt to use it in 5 minutes. And it is smaller than I thought, which means it doesn't take much space! The sealing and vacuum process is automatic, no need to stop it manually. After sealing, the food looks so nice and well preserved! Haha, really love this machine!

Review: The Mesliese vacuum sealer has been very useful to me since I received it.One thing that stands out to me is the ability to assign whether your food is moist vs. dry and whether to use gentle vs. normal pressure.So the sealer will perform different for items that are wet (think deli meat, or soups) then for stuff such as dry pasta or herbs. When I first sealed a bag of pre-cut lettuce I put it on moist and normal. This was probably too much, as it compressed it really hard and bruised the lettuce. Then I tried using it moist and gentle. It was much better, but I had already damaged the lettuce. But I can confirm it's better.One other thing I really like, is that if you make a mistake or you find it is sucking too hard, you can hit the stop button. It will still seal it for you if you leave it in, but you could also just un clip the ends to prevent the sealing. You must always wait until both lights go off with vac & seal and seal, so that you know the job has been completed. I few times I opened it prematurely, because there is a pause between the processes. You eventually learn how to use it like a pro.It does say it works best with Mesliese brand vacuum seal bags, but it says it should work with most vacuum sealer bags. I could not test that part, nor could I test the tubing suction as I don't have anything with that type of connector to try it.There is a knack to this vacuum sealer. You must always remember to press down both sides of the sealer before initiating a mode, also be careful not to hit the suction button on the side accidentally as you will wonder why the sealer is making a noise when it's not supposed to. You must remember not to store it compressed down as the instructions say you might damage the sealer.I was also sending perfumes to a friend. So I decided to use the smaller roll and vacuum packed the perfume, that way it won't leak and the tops stay on the bottles secured. It's very easy to choose between vac & seal or just seal. It's also nice to just be able to use the seal function as well. The cord is separate and needs to be plugged into the back. So the cord can be stored away instead of being attached to the main appliance.Altogether this is a very sleek looking, multi-purpose vacuum sealer with extended functions. Works very well and gives you many options. The fact that it comes with a few large bags and 2 rolls of smaller bags was very appreciated.

Review: This machine came well packaged. It includes the vacuum sealer, detachable power cord, attachment to seal containers, 2 extra gaskets, instructions, 2 rolls of cut-to-fit bags and 5 large pre-made bags. There is also a bag cutter, but it's not integrated as I originally thought. It's a small blade that is removable and the idea is that it is attached to the side of the machine and readily available. I couldn't figure out how to get the blade out, but I'm okay with just using scissors to cut my bags as I'm quite used to that with my previous machine.I found this machine to function quite well. It quickly vacuums and seals. I think it is much faster than my old machine. Also I find the sealing to be more secure than my previous machine. About 5% of the time, with my previous machine, I had to redo the seal since it didn't seal airtight.I'm very please with this machine. I find it works well and quickly.

Review: The Mesliese vacuum sealer is a wonderful way to help stretch my food dollars. This enables me to purchase meats, fruits and veggies while on sale or freshly harvested from the garden for the veggies and fruit and safely store them for future use. This system removes extra air which can degrade the quality over time, even if frozen. I have been freezing meats for my entire life, growing up with a chest freezer full of food at harvest time. But I do love the convenience this brings and the less mess version of preparing things for the pantry or freezer over the old butchers paper and containers. I even like this more than freezer quality zip lock style bags which I’ve used for many years. This can also be used for preparing food to be cooked “sous vide”. The quality of this machine seems to be very good and felt solid when locking down the lid. It is quite straight forward in its use so a short learning curve. I do wish they had provided one roll of a wider plastic for making your own bags rather than 2 of the one size as I find the provided ore-made bags on the large side for my needs. But assume I may reseal this bag once I’ve opened and removed the contents that I require, so this does make that situation better. I found I wanted a count down, or some visual indicator of how long the process took. But now I’ve done this a few times this is becoming less of a want on my part. I also would have appreciated a link(s) to, or information on, the bags’ properties and where I could go to find replacements for the bags materials. I assume like most things the quality available isn’t always good or recommended? But none of my little wants takes away from me loving this vacuum sealer, nor lowers my scoring of it as they are suggestions for a perfect world scenario. It operates smoothly, easily, isn’t intimidating and is a wonderful food saver system. I also like the reasonable size of this along with the light weight making this something I will make room to store and pull out to use repeatedly.
