“Thanks for getting us creative in the kitchen. This book was approachable and easy to follow. Each recipe was an effective walk through, each step being straightforward and sensible. We appreciate that! The things we tried were all delicious. Here are some dives into the thoughts we had while making and enjoying.
Rosemary Flatbread: Made it 3 times! Looking forward to making again. Rosemary was perfectly balanced. The texture and density was a happy medium between light and hearty.
Cauliflower Steak: OMG that marinade. Instructions flawless-cooked to perfection. So good and refreshing.
Vegetable Frittata: Fulfilling, flavorful, versatile. Was a little uncertain whether the consistency of batter was how it should be, but it baked to perfection.
Caramel Apple Nachos: The caramel sauce is absolutely our favorite vegan caramel out of the handful that we’ve tried. The recipe makes a fairly decent amount of caramel which is perfect for next-day munching.” —Stephanie and Jeremiah (Professionally Trained Chef), Recipe Testers

Title: Not for vegans only!
Review: This is a very special cookbook that is put together not just for the vegans in your life but for anyone who enjoys healthy flavorful food. I am not vegetarian by any means, nor am I a significant cook. I am usually intimidated by composed vegetarian dishes, yet I found this cookbook so refreshing! The book is beautifully laid out with seasonally appropriate recipes so you will always find fresh ingredients to include. And there is a list of staples included, perfect and intriguing for any cook and I am comforted by the explanations of why they are helpful and what can be substituted.I especially enjoyed the Walnut Burgers. They were so easy to make and loaded with flavor! I am amazed at the perfect texture. I wonât be going back to beef burgers after this! There are some fabulous breakfast offerings that are exquisite! Many of the recipes are perfect to take along to gatherings for work and with family. This book has such a personal touch, it feels Iâm in the kitchen cooking with friends!

Title: A Effective vegan cookbook that I totally appreciate in todayâs busy world
Review: This book has been a splendid resource as I commence trying to eat and live a healthier life. First, it was designed from the start to be easy to access and reference back and forth as I ventured into the world of outstanding vegan dish's. The author skillfully weaved in her own photos throughout to make the journey more pleasing, personal and authentic. Moving forward she describes concisely what started her own journey into this tasty excursion, and why. Everything is assembled to make the cooking part easy, fun and most of all tasty, like what staples are needed to keep on hand for a quick meal without having to wait for the next trip to the store.Luckily for me, she discovered some cheeses and milks also qualify for the unique recipes. Miso a longtime favorite of mine is incorporated. She also reveals the top 10 tools for the kitchen when youâre ready to dive in for some tasty food preparation that wonât clog your arteries. Closing â is a helpful index in the back to assist those serious about their familyâs health. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to get more creative results from their food budget.

Title: Try something new
Review: This was more a curiosity purchase on my part than a life style one. I am always looking for more vegetable and nondairy dishes to add to my recipe lots. I will definitely try their Wellington, Pear Bakewell Tart , Squash and Penne Noodles, the Halloween cookie, Bruschetta.

Title: Great Idea, Doesn't Quite Live Up to the Promise
Review: I am a big proponent of non-vegans and non-vegetarians eating vegan and vegetarian food, and I love the holidays, so I was excited when I saw this book. The premise is great - it's a series of dinners arranged by holiday (not just the winter ones), and several of the recipes look delicious. But it doesn't quite live up to the hype. For one, the menu for each holiday only has three recipes - usually some kind of main dish, a side dish or appetizer, and a dessert. And while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it feels a little sparse for meals that are supposed to be celebratory, and the menus are not always well balanced. For instance, one menu calls for roasted cauliflower steaks served with a side of mashed potatoes and a dessert. That's it. That's a lot of carbs, a lot of white, and not a lot of nutrition. Some of the recipes are also going to be a bit basic to the eyes of experienced home cooks. This cookbook would benefit from a new edition that includes some more dishes for each menu.If you're looking for some interesting recipes to try out that maybe you haven't thought of before, or you have little experience with vegan and vegetarian food, than by all means, try this one out. Just don't expect to be planning big holidays meals around the menus, and expect to balance out some of the menus with additional side dishes, salads, or bread.

Title: You donât have to be an executive chef to enjoy this cookbook!
Review: Iâm no stranger to healthy eating, but I normally donât know what to prepare for a well-balanced diet. This cookbook gives me more meal and dessert ideas, which are great for below-average cooks like me. I can also rotate between recipes and get a little creative with them. I picked the easiest recipe (butter noodles) with a few modifications. It turned out great. It was also delicious and filling. The easy-to-follow recipes are great for any time of the year, not just the holidays.
