Title: Helped me transition. It went from a reset, now I’m 2 months and counting 😃
Review: This book is amazing! I am a professional chef and have tried all kinds of diets throughout my adult life. Over the last several years I always wanted to end up being vegan but it’s very difficult working in a kitchen where that is not the focused cuisine. Anywho... fast forward to Covid, I found myself without a job, stressed out and cooking all kinds of crap. The pounds started to add up even more. Well I decided to do a reset. I had done, smoothies, juicing, whole30, all of that and just eliminated eggs from my diet so I figured why not try vegan for a few weeks. I came across this book and it was love at first sight! 3 weeks ✔️ Meal plan✔️ Shopping list✔️✔️✔️ I was sold. I received the book. Placed my first weeks order on Fresh and was ready to go. Week one was great. Week two, sugar cravings started to subside, week three was smooth sailing. And I’m happy to say, two months later I’m still in it with no plans on going back. This book truly changed my life. There’s still things I’m working on like carb intake but if you are lookin to transition thus book is great! Easy to follow and delicious recipes.

Title: Perfect Book for Beginners
Review: I just completed the third week of my new plant-based eating plan, thanks to this book!It was just what I needed and had been seeking for quite some time. It has great recipes, and I findthe weekly menus so helpful in meal planning. The shopping lists help with menu planning, too. I found the meals to be satiating and I was not hungry between meals. My only regret is not starting a plant-based diet many years ago.I feel more clear-headed and generally calmer and happier. An added bonus was I lost six pounds in three weeks!

Title: Quick, easy recipes
Review: Many reviews complain there aren’t any pictures, but consider this more of a reference book than a coffee table book. If you cook often, you can use your prior knowledge to know what the dish is going to look like. The ingredients are common in most grocery stores and inexpensive. The recipes are short in duration, unless you are baking a potato. The sweet potato biscuit recipe is simple and delicious but took twice the cooking time and I needed to add liquid to get enough stickiness, hence 4 instead of 5 stars.

Title: Finally!
Review: I am a whole food, plant-based eater, and it is a challenge to find a recipe book that isn't either full of complicated recipes that to me aren't worth it to spend half an hour trying to create "cheese", or they're recipes that are just too damn green and raw for a picky eater like me. These recipes look simple and delicious, and I couldn't believe it when I opened the book and discovered that I was excited to try every recipe in there! The layout is almost perfect with your grocery list and meals for the week, and my only complaint would be that the recipes for each week aren't in the same section. Other than that, yippee! I can't wait to dive in! It's sad the things we get excited about as we get older..

Title: Vegan made easy, fun, and doable
Review: This book is fabulous if you are trying out the vegan lifestyle. The recipes are simple, quick, and look beautiful. I like the format of the book and that you can find the ingredients. My kids even have tried out a few. My favorites are the cauliflower tacos and the forbidden rice recipe. Going dairy-free is not hard.

Title: Overall tasty recipes, flaws within the meal prep
Review: I haven’t had a recipe I didn’t like, although there are some recipes that I’d probably not make again just because they were too involved to make as a parent with an infant or because I’m not really a soup person.There were some flaws with the meal prep - for example week 1 has a hummus pizza recipe, but then the recipe itself calls for premade pizza crusts which wasn’t on the shopping list. Again, as a mother of an infant who wants to limit the number of times she goes to the store, this was annoying.The purpose of this book is to help individuals start a vegan lifestyle, so knowing this the author still had us go heavy on the beans and fiber for week 1, which means HELLO diarrhea. Be prepared and it’d probably be wise to take a probiotic to help your gut balance the sudden change in diet.

Title: Wonderful book to help you get started to good health!
Review: I bought this book a while back (truly can not remember when) it laid it on my pile of books. Today I picked it up and started reading and realized this is a great book for eating deliciously healthy, which I already do and have tons of recipe books, but this one is special at least it appeals to me and my tastes and I bet it will to you as well. I have been plant based for 8 years and have never looked back, I do it for the planet, the animals and hey for me and my health and my family's health. I made the creamy balsamic dressing (page 236) today and have several pages with turned down ears (bookmarks always fall out) to try as soon as I get back to the grocery. Just a note of what eating plant-based can do for you as it did for me, lost 15 lbs., cholesterol went down 50 points, all my "markers" are great, lower blood pressure, no more osteoporosis (yes really), no more gerd, skin looks great (I get compliments and I'm 73), it doesn't matter your age, it will do really good things for you and your health and this happens fast. I take no medicines. I think this book is really good way to get started.

Title: Delicious recipes and easy to follow
Review: LOVE this cookbook. The first few chapters are chalked full of useful information and the shopping lists for each week saves heaps of time and running around. The best part is that all the recipes I have tried thus far are delicious! It's easy to start a diet plan when you don't have to thinking about your meals.

Review: Readable, sensible, not judgemental approach to plant based eating. I am vegan curious and this made it feel a lot easier. For once, recipes that don’t try to mimic too much meat eating, e.g endless burger recipes (there were only a couple!). Also some great ideas for making your own nut butters / milks etc that are simple to follow. The meal plan is similar to one I have been trying to create, using leftovers and not meals that take 25 ingredients or hours to prep. Good stuff, and nudged me along the path, thanks.
