Title: VERY Clear Video
Review: I bought this because my previous doorbell camera video quality was horrendous. This I am VERY pleased with. Highly recommended. Also I can play on my TV.

Title: Didn't work at all
Review: Had to return because it would not link up even though I have 7 other roku cams that work fine. Two of which are in the same area as I tried putting this one.

Title: Works fairly well.
Review: We decided to finally get on board with the doorbell camera craze and looked at various brands before deciding on the Roku doorbell. The Roku doorbell is the only one I found that promised easy, seamless integration with our tv. I was not disappointed. Set up is super easy. Integration to Roku tv is automatic and totally painless. My only gripe is that the sensitivity of the device, while adjustable, is super sensitive. We get alerted to every car that drives by, but otherwise this is a great doorbell. I do feel the price was a little steep, as there are lots of cheaper cameras, but Iâm satisfied that I got the one with the features I need.

Title: All Roku cameras are 10/10
Review: The whole line of Roku cameras are amazing and far superior to other systems around the same price range. I have 7 cameras, so I'm committed to future use

Title: Nice, but needs updates
Review: InstallationThe first night was tested with the 3M tape while deciding placement between our vinyl siding and metal doorframe. The tape is surprisingly strong and has potential to last a while, but I'm not sure I trust it in extreme temperatures. We did opt for the more permanent setup.SubscriptionYou can supposedly benefit from 2 trials; 14 days and 3 months. At the end of 14 days, we were unsuccessful in obtaining the 3 months promised with the monthly subscription. While the $4 monthly price is affordable, it would have been nice to be able to utilize BOTH trials. When the subscription isn't active, features are ridiculously limited. I get the point of paying, but it would be nice to benefit from the point of having a camera even between subscriptions, i.e. taking and accessing screenshots of alerts/events. The subscription is also missing some features that could increase functionality, but I can't think of good examples at this time.Battery lifeThe advertised battery life isn't accurate. After just 27 days of what I feel is normal use, it reads 30%. Checking most -if not all- alerts in real-time in addition to random short-duration viewings should NOT drain a battery that drastically. Add in the use of more features or extreme temperatures and it is sure not to last past a week! Prior to this camera we did decide on getting a battery-operated one and are aware of the added maintenance, however, this is excessive, especially when promised 6 months of use.ViewIt would be nice if -all- doorbell cameras had the ability to somewhat rotate beyond the stationary wide view. The spot we chose includes the area we want to see, but I would like to be able to rotate somewhat farther at the far edges. I'm sure this isn't limited to Roku, but felt it was worth mentioning. The fish-eye view is distortive and annoying. Opening the camera takes a minute or two to load (not useful at all for real-time events) and sometimes the view is zoomed in automatically. The image is a far cry from 1440p and is often grainy. While the image is clear, you certainly won't be using any footage for identifying purposes. Night vision is decent and the camera doesn't seem horribly affected by different lighting, especially with our front porch facing east.Motion detectionThe range of motion detection is extremely limited. The camera is at the recommended 4' but elevated by 3 steps. Motion does not capture beyond the immediate area of the stoop and doesn't appear to be adjustable. Our area of coverage is average, yet I can't get alerts for the entirety of the property in view.AppThe app is very limited and you need to utilize the website to access your account details. More features would be nice to have. At this time I'm not quite sure what I'd want to see beyond the ability to adjust certain things like view and range. It does come with a wifi extender which is a huge bonus.Overall the camera and app both need a lot of work, but this is a decent starter set and worth the affordable price. We will probably get a decent amount of use out of this before deciding whether to move on to other brands.
