Title: Kids love it!
Review: My kids love this game. It was easy to use, but don't forget to charge it first. We just plugged it in a monitor and they were able to start right playing. I'm glad it came with 2 controllers because there are 2 person games. So many games!!

Title: Great retro console.
Review: This is a retro console, so don't go into it expecting modern games. But that's not a knock on it. This is pretty fun. It does seem to actually have 20,000 games. Each page has ten games, and there are over 2000 pages. I haven't tested out every game, obviously, but what I've played seemed to work exactly as you'd expect. The controllers use two AAA batteries each and are modeled after early PlayStation controllers, which is pretty nice.No real complaints for me! I'm having fun with this console!

Title: Definitely not 5 stars
Review: This is really painfully average. It was easy to get going, and the games seem to function more or less as I remember from my childhood, but it's not really worth the price point. It works, it was a great nostalgia hit, but it does get frustrating. The controllers are standard PS2, but I had to get a replacement because one of them never connected and the L1 button was wonky. You can go about 8 feet away before they start to act up, and the A and B buttons are programmed backwards on some games. Many of the games will not let you adjust keypad settings, so having backwards buttons is a pain. I wouldn't sit too far away because the controller definitely lags, which isn't great for games with a lot of jumps. This seemed to be some framerate/stuttering issues on a couple of games, which was relatively minor but kind of annoying.Navigating the collection was not great. There are thousands of games across many platforms, and includes games from the US, Europe, and Asia. This also means there are about 5 to 30+ versions of the same game, which was cool in a few cases as games aren't necessarily the same across regions, but generally just seemed like bloat. Many of them are in their original language title, so we had to use Google to find the original Japanese name to find several nintendo games from our childhood. Some of the ones I looked for were only in Japanese, which doesn't affect gameplay at all but I can't read Japanese. There are also very confusing mistranslations of titles. I have no idea what Hotdog Storm was supposed to be, but it wound up being a flying and shooting game. Some games you might want are there but under something like "Creepy Vampire" or "Strong Robot." Not really helpful. There is a search function and a classification by system selection, but the search function oddly enough doesn't have a spacebar so have fun looking for any game with multiple words in it, especially if it starts with Super. There are 117 pages of games that start with Super. For example, I tried to find Super Bomberman, which I loved as a kid. I tried "bomberman" as an alternative and didn't find it. I had to actually scroll through Super until I found it.Some obvious classics are missing from this, which I imagine is due to licensing. Don't look for most Mario or Sonic games. The save and password functions did work on the games I tried, and I did get to play some games I haven't seen in about 20-30 years. It wasn't wildly expensive and we did have fun for a few afternoons, but honestly an emulator is probably a better idea.

Title: a nice item
Review: This game console definitely has 25,000 games but I noticed that there were a lot of copies of the same exact game so just a heads up.

Title: HDMI Retro Game Console
Review: I got this for nostalgia, as I missed playing some of these games from my childhood. Itâs great to see those classics again. Share it with friends who also missed out on playing retro games like Metal Slug or Street Fighter. The joysticks work seamlessly, and itâs awesome that theyâre wireless. There are so many games included that I still havenât seen most of them. Overall, itâs great and super easy to set up.
