Title: Doing a good job - without 'Norton Nuisance'.
Review: Product does its job well. Interface is classy, simple. Easy on the eyes, as are the icons. Easy to load and use/live with. Best of all, none of Norton's nuisance-pestering. That came after installing Norton's basic Internet product. And, continued throughout the subscription. Regardless of, at least, several notices. In responding to ongoing Norton Surveys.Webroot, has brought a good product. And, the much-needed relief.

Title: The best complete Internet security software I've tried!
Review: I used the top 2 most popular brands in the past and when my subscription ended for this last company, I decided to try Webroot. My sister has been saying how great it is for years. But I was apprehensive about changing. Boy and I glad I did. It was trivial to install and now my computer comes on so much faster. The scans are faster as well. There are only 2 things I wish were different. One is that the little safe web icons (green check marks) do not appear for Firefox browser. Or at least I was unable to find an add-on extension that would allow it. I do have it on Chrome though. So I do my web searches on Chrome now. Also, I lost a feature from my prior software that had a 'safe money' feature for when I signed onto my bank and investment accounts or used my credit card for a purchase. But I'm not even sure what that feature was. So for all I know, it didn't do anything more than Webroot does. Anyway, I'm very happy with this change. Only time will tell if I get annoying reminders to renew online toward the end of my subscription. I don't like doing that because the price is always higher that way. I prefer to buy it on Amazon each year to get the best price. That said, it would be nice if the renewal price was competitive with the new purchase price so I didn't have to go through that effort.

Title: This review is written out of frustration
Review: I've been using Webroot's product for the last 10 months, and due to the fact that my laptop is still free of any issues is a testament to the effectiveness of this product and my careful web surfing. I'm not a digital techy, so I can't give you the nuts and bolts of why this has been working so well. I can tell you that Webroot works so quickly and seamlessly in the background that you have to check now and then that it's still engaged. I've used Norton, McAfee, and Kaspersky over the years and found that they were either memory hogs, or run slowly robbing resources, and sometimes both. What I find frustrating is that online reviews of virus, etc., software are very unreliable, with many of them being overly complimentary while others pan the very same product. How much influence do these software manufacturers have on these sites that accept advertising? Consumer Reports is probably the most trusted source (accepting no advertising), but they didn't include this Webroot product in their last review. Another frustration is that when it's time to renew, manufacturers, including this one, start sending reminders at least 60 days in advance of the end of the service period. Their offer for renewal never shows the best price available, so shopping again for the same software online is strongly recommended. I don't have any issue with the product, but the marketing schemes used by these companies is anti-consumer, especially toward their existing customers. Ever felt that way about your cable company or your cell phone provider? Do software manufacturers really want to be lumped with cable companies occupying the bottom of the list of trusted service providers?

Title: The Complete Package. Effective, Easy To Install/Operate
Review: Upon initial install I'd have to say I'm very impressed and quite pleased with this product. Most of my reviews include the detail that I'm legally blind. Being visually limited is often a major factor when I select technology based products. It must be easy to use and easy for me to see as well. Webroot's Internet Security Complete gets high marks on both ease of use and ease of viewing.I had been using Microsoft Security Essentials since 2013 and felt it left a lot to be desired. Over time my computer began to drag, freeze and crash. Admittedly by the five year mark my tower is antiquated but I know how it operates, I'm comfortable with it and I was loathe to set it aside for a newer model. Suspecting that Microsoft's SE was not covering all the security bases I went in search of a better antivirus software package. I researched different packages, considered the pro's and con's of each product and read reviews. Finally I settled on Webroot's Internet Security Complete. I chose this level of the product because I wanted all the bells and whistles. I didn't want to regret not having additional options at a later date. As the product name indicates I've got the complete package.Being old school and not completely trustful of online, software downloads I purchased the CD version of Internet Security Complete. The software installed quickly and easily. During installation it ran its first scan and detected four virus threats. My suspicions were confirmed - SE was not protecting me as I'd hoped. Once the threats were removed Internet Security Complete rebooted my system and then ran a Malware scan. Yet another threat was detected. Consider me gobsmacked *and* thrilled by this product's quality and effectiveness. Pairing this software up with CCleaner and a more aggressive anti-malware product I am very optimistic that my antiquated tower might still have some processing life in it yet... hopefully many *years* of smooth operation to come. I can't say enough good things about Webroot's Internet Security Complete. This is definitely 5 star caliber software in my opinion.Note: Following the instructions at Microsoft's website I disabled SE before installing Internet Security Complete.
