Title: Perfect Product!
Review: I've never made waffles before, so this was the perfect product for my first experience. I didn't know what I needed in a waffle maker, but Krup had exactly what I needed. The grill plates are held securely until you press the button release (top and bottom), and it has a red/green light to let you know when it's ready to add batter, a dial for how brown you want the waffles, (I used 3, but I want crispier so I will use 4 or 4 1/2 next time), AND it beeps when the waffles are done at the setting you dialed! Everything has a learning curve, so I poured too much batter on the first batch and it oozed out, but that was funny for this beginner. ð In the second batch I made sure to pour just enough into each quarter instead of in the center like the picture on the directions. They came out perfect! And clean up was a breeze, and also storage. Well made. This is a golden 5 star product! I would order again for gifts.

Title: Incredibly impressed!
Review: WOW! Thatâs the best word I can use to describe this waffle maker. The day it arrived, I got it out of the box and turned the dial up as far as it would go and just let it burn off for about 20 minutes to get the initial non-stick coating smell burnt off. That night, I prepared my sourdough waffle batter and let sit all night. The next morning, I turned the machine on and got to work.READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO FREEZE AND POP INTO TOASTER LATER: I honestly have never made waffles before, but read a review saying that setting 3 is best for waffles that youâll be freezing and popping into a toaster. So glad I found that review, because the advice was spot on! Perfectly fluffy waffles on setting 3! They donât have any crisp to them, which is perfect if youâre going to be freezing and reheating in the toaster.CLEANUP (NO COOKING SPRAY NEEDED!): Cleanup was zero. All the pictures Iâm sharing are what the machine looked like directly after removing the last batch of waffles. No spray necessary! The trick to it not sticking is to allow it to fully come to temperature before dumping your batter in AND allowing it to come back to temperature once the waffles are cooked (donât lift the lid to âpeek!â). The green light will turn on and 3 loud beeps will sound to indicate that 1) the waffle maker is to temp and 2) Your waffles are ready. Trust the beep!AMOUNT OF BATTER: I make sourdough waffles, and my batter isnât crazy thick (see photos). I have found that ever so slightly less than a half cup fills each space just fine with very little to no overflow as it cooks.ADDRESSING COMPLAINTS: Some reviewers mentioned the handle getting hotâ¦this was definitely NOT the case for me. The machine would accumulate condensation around the front from the steam, but it never made the handle feel at all hot. Secondly, my plates seem to be staying in place just fine. The top one jiggles around a little as you lift and lower the lid, but itâs not falling out. The buttons used to remove the plates seem to work just fine.LONGEVITY: Unfortunately, I canât yet speak to its longevity, but I sure do hope it lasts me a good long while, because this machine is incredible and beautiful. It offers all the options I wanted (sturdy design, easily stored, multiple Belgian waffles at a time, removable plates, beep to indicate when done). I couldnât have asked for a better waffle maker. Well worth the investment!

Title: Makes great waffles every time
Review: This makes great waffles, easy to clean too. I really like the clip that holds it closed too so that I can store it upright in my small kitchen. Once you figure out the number to get waffles to the desired level of doneness that you like (takes a little experimentation), you just set it, fill it, click it closed, and when the beeper goes off you get a perfect waffle. The cooking surfaces pop out for easy cleaning with the push of a button. It's a little hard to clean up any overflow on the sides, but that's just a feature of any waffle maker. I have found that if I measure and put the correct amount of batter in the center of each square it doesn't overflow and I avoid the mess. We've been enjoying fresh sourdough waffles every Sunday morning - and we freeze any leftover waffles for toaster waffles during the week. Yumm!

Title: Happy overall
Review: I debated on which waffle maker to choose for a long time, and finally landed on this one. I chose it because:1. it makes four at a time, so it takes less time to do breakfast for the family.2. I like the size of the individual waffles and the size of the little waffle squares.3. the plates are removable so cleanup is easier.4. the size of the unit itself isnât as giant as some other 4-waffle makers by comparison would be more difficult to store.5. the price â the others I was considering are much more expensive. They had better nonstick technology and bells-and-whistles, but at 3x the cost.My only complaints are:1. Cord length⦠why is it sooo short? I couldnât use my kitchen island to make waffles because the cord canât reach from the back of the waffle maker to the outlet of the side of the kitchen island.2. The beeping noise it makes when the waffle maker is ready and again when the waffles are done is a little aggressive (my kids say it sounds like a smoke alarm, which is an exaggeration, but illustrates my point).3. The handle to open the waffle maker gets very hot from the steam while cooking. I have to use a hot pad after the first batch itâs so hot.4. The nonstick smell the first couple uses is as-expected, but still ick.Overall, Iâm happy with the choice to buy this Krups model. I wish the cons list was a little shorter, but not so much that I wish Iâd spent $300 for another one. The price/value feels about right and the waffles taste great.

Title: This made me a waffle-holic
Review: This is a great waffle maker. It cooks waffles in the time stated in the directions. Waffles are easy to remove. The plates snap off easily for cleaning (manually or in the dishwasher) and snap back on. This also stores well... doesn't take much space. I'm very picky about small kitchen appliances because space is needed to store them when not in use. But this was a good purchase and one I expect to use for a very long time.

Review: Compre este aparato en alrededor de $700 MXN y vale la pena cada peso, es bastante fácil de limpiar y a diferencia de otros más pequeños y baratos, no se tira para nada la mezcla de waffles.

Review: I have owned 3 different waffle makers in the last three years since the pandemic hit. I have gone through 2 other waffle makers that just did not make the cut for me. This is my third waffle maker. I purchased the Krup Waffle Maker and received it within a very short time. Here is my list of Pro and Cons on the Krup Waffle Maker:Pro:The box came, undented and no scratches.Easy to remove and put on the waffle plates. They are dishwasher safe but very easy to wash by hands.Very Sturdy and not at all flimsy (no plastic pieces except for the handle.)Can make 4 waffles at once without have to wait.Has a green light to let you know when waffles are done and makes a noise.Con:I don't really think this counts as a con but it is quite heavy. So if you don't like heavy small appliance this is not for you.No other issue for me.Price point it costs the same as all my other waffle makers and those I felt were not as sturdy. and made less waffles at a time. I make waffles almost every second weekend so this has held up quite well in my books. If you love making waffles for your family, this is the best one!
