Title: Long-Lasting Power & Clear Communication
Review: I own a small farm where there are numerous times I need to talk to a family member while doing chores. Cell phones are more cumbersome, and I donât like to expose my phone to the wear and tear of the Texas environment with all its dust. I thought these walkie talkies would be a great solution since they come with four of them. One of the first things I like about the units is that they are rechargeable with a USB-C cable. They have a long standby time of around 72 hours. I can use the units throughout the day without having to recharge them frequently. Additionally, I am not contributing to putting so many batteries in the landfill. These are not the typical kids' walkie-talkies. They are ruggedly built and have a range capacity of up to 5 miles, which is more than enough distance for most of the use cases I can think of, such as working outside and hiking. Although I have not really explored the range of channels with their 22 channels and 121 sub-channels, the units are designed for quick frequency switching to find a clear signal. One feature that I like is the NOAA Weather Scan. It keeps me updated on any changing weather conditions, which provides a nice backup to the alert apps on my phone. You can enjoy hands-free operation with the voice-activated feature. It has a connection for an external headset and mic.It is a nice touch to add a dust cover to protect the USB and external headset connections, making the units more water-resistant. Finally, the units have an LED light. Itâs not super bright, handy when I need it.I really like that there are four walkie talkies, their rugged design, and their ability to handle the distance required for working on a small farm where I need to communicate with family members. If you are looking for full-featured walkie talkies, then you will like them.

Title: Handy Set of Walkie Talkies
Review: These are a nice handy set of walkie talkies, they are simplified in design, conveniently small in the hand and thus are great for bringing along for trips. We will more than likely use them for group hiking as they are lite and easy to pack and bring along. However, would be great for just general play. A very nice handy set of travel talkies!

Title: Nice sound, good coverage
Review: The MaxTalker Walkie Talkies 4 Pack is definitely not a toy, but at this price point, I wouldnât have an issue with letting older children use them when out camping, hiking, bike riding, etc. These units are feature packed with access to multiple channels, with a scan feature and a monitor feature. Both of these can be handy when needed. The range seems to be as advertised, but terrain and atmospheric conditions can certainly have an impact on that as well. The unit is about six inches tall and fits comfortably in your hand (see photos). The battery easily gives 72 hours of standby time with minimal use, so it should be ample to hold through a weekend away from power sources, if necessary. The units are rechargeable with supplied USB cables (one for each unit, USB-A to USB -C). Note that you will need to provide a USB-A wall adaptor to use 110v for charging. I have not tried charging via a laptop/pc USB port, but I would imagine that would work as well. The built-in flashlight may be useful for very close up illumination, but is not strong enough for use to light a trail or search for big game on a dark night.Detailed instruction sheet for using the various features is provided. I have only touched on a few key features in this review, but these units have many more nice features to explore.5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEMI write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. I read reviews too, and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that you find this review helpful!

Title: Nice walkie-talkie value pack
Review: These four walkie-talkies are great for hiking or driving with other friends. It is very easy to set up, and the batteries came charged. All of them can be charged via USB-C, and it also came with 4 USB-C to USB cables. Overall, great product, would recommend.

Title: Long Lasting and Clear Voice
Review: We mostly used them around the neighborhood so far but possibly will use them for camping and travel. The battery last a while but I would suggest if your going to be out for a couple days to bring some portable power with you to keep them topped off.The clarity is decent at the short ranges we have used them. So far nothing over .5 miles.

Title: MaxTalker Walkie Talkies with Integrated Batteries â Solid Choice, but Consider Battery Preferences
Review: Iâm still deciding on these walkie talkies. The integrated batteries provide more power, but you lose the ability to swap them out like with AA or AA-compatible lithium batteries. The radios are solid and work well, but your preference between longer use on one charge or the ability to change out batteries will determine if theyâre right for you. I can recommend them!

Title: Very Useful, High Quality Walkie-Talkies
Review: I got these small, full-featured walkie-talkies for my grandson's JROTC outings and camping trips in which the coordinators and student leaders need to be able to communicate with each other. Many times they are out of phone cell service range, which is how they have tried to do it the past. These FRS devices are perfect for this purpose (and other purposes too). They are small, multi-channel, have a well-lit screen, can receive NOAA weather broadcasts, can enable tone access for privacy, and have about a half-watt of power. A big plus for me is that these radios are rechargeable -- no replacing batteries. The included instructions are complete and easy to understand.I have not attempted to determine the communication range but I've always found that the advertised range for such devices is always a bit optimistic. So, if you want to be sure of reliable communications, I suggest taking the advertised maximum ranges with a grain of salt, especially if you'll be in congested or heavily wooded areas. Neither have I attempted to determine battery life on a single recharge.

Title: Range definitely sucks
Review: I got these to go hunting with and figured I would try them out in my apartment complex first to test out the range and it will not even make it up to the front of the complex To the leasing office. I would say These things maybe have 200 yards maybe tops
