Title: Worked Great! Mine Did NOT Break
Review: Don't know what all the bad reviews are about. The instructions clearly state how to use the tool and what kind of pressure should be used. I used only one of these on all my walls where I want the paper removed. That's one large dining room wall, kitchen table area and a bathroom. It never damaged my walls due to too much pressure and it also didn't break like some reviews stated. It's actually back in my garage tool box for future use.Just remember not to apply too much pressure so you use the scorcher to only puncture the wall paper just a little so the water can seep in.From my pictures, you'll see all the walls I worked on using this tool and a close up of the little punctures it makes in the wall paper to understand how the tool works. Please read the directions and start off with very little pressure and increase pressure only as needed until you see results. If you can still get the results at a reduced pressure, then that's the pressure you'll want to stay consistent with and any more will cause the tool to not only break, but you'll also puncture the drywall underneath the paper.After I scorched my walls with this tool, I sprayed the walls section by section with only hot water. You can use a sponge but I used a water bottle. I then waited 15 minutes and repeated this step again. That made lifting the paper so much easier and it just peeled off. In some places I had to apply more hot water and a few areas I needed to use a scraper but I can't imagine it being any easier without this tool. Then I washed down the walls with some dish soap water in a bucket and a big sponge to get the glue off.

Review: Was using to take wallpaper off bathroom walls. Its an average size bathroom with maybe 70/80sq' of wallparered walls to strip. To he first one broke after about 50 of the 80 sq' of wall space I Wasn't pushing too hard and i was following all recommendations for use. Beyond the toothed wheel breaking off, it is a nice, productive product. We ordered a second one, same brand and everything, because it is a good product, just gotta be gentle with use

Title: Scores well- Laborious
Review: It’s not magic but it’s helpful. Removing paper is a tedious job. The scoring helps to allow the paper to become saturated (water or remover) and easier to peel away. There is no need to apply a lot of pressure. Doing so is more likely to hurt the tool than the walls. It does not damage the walls. Very manual process. It covers as much area as your arm can. I found moving in a circular motion works best. Please let me know if this helpful.

Title: Good tool but watch your pressure
Review: I liked this tool because it was easy to use and straightforward. I disliked the device because if you use too much pressure, it tears up the drywall. Not the tools fault but instead is the fault of the tool using it. Haha. Wallpaper is a pain to begin with. Pay a professional or paint over it if you want something easier.

Review: Had a small old wallpaper job in my bathroom. So I bought this scoring tool and the chemical sprayThe purpose of the tool is to perforate the outer vinyl or foil covering so it can be saturated and peeled off to expose the paper backing. No need for the tool on the paper backing as it will absorb the chemical spray.A light pressure figure 8 rolling pattern works best. Start with a small area first to acclimate with the pressure needed to perforate the outer layer. Then spray and Use a wide spatula to scrape and peel off the paper.

Title: Don’t waste your money!
Review: I’d give it 1/2 a star if I could.Poor quality!! This product broke after the first use! I only did a small section of wall, and one of the rotating heads came completely apart. Not worth your money or your time because now my project is at a stand still until I can replace this busted tool.

Title: It does the job!
Review: This product does work and is very easy to use. Heed the warnings others have left, it does not require much pressure to work. If you do press too hard it will leave indents in your walls. I would also recommend buying the spray this brand sells as well, it does work!
