I have it sitting on my bathroom counter with drain over sink and mesh sink plug to catch any fibers. I use the same water to run a couple of loads for similar clothing unless something is really dirty.The drain plug resists plugging the drain spout after draining. Works better when spout is dry.I tipped it over to dry overnight in my bathtub but the lip of the bucket traps water inside even after shaking the bucket, so you do need to wipe it out to prevent mold/ mildew.

Title: Longevity in question
Review: Second day failure, will not spin in both directions as it did on day 1. Sounds like a belt might be slipping. To bad I really like the idea and the way it folds up and everything really compact great for my rv. Rv power is a 4200 generac generator. The motor in the washer just did not sound strong enough. It appeared to be straining. After first day I was ready to start giving them to my grand kids in college but this second day killed that idea.
