Title: Takes the taste out of my tap water
Review: Easy to install if you ignore the instructions which are misleading. Says a 1.5" hole needed in one place and 12.5mm in another - quite different if you already drilled your granite countertop! Also the plastic T fitting they include to tap off the existing cold water line is junk, slightly over-tighten and it leaks. Replaced with a 3/8" brass T fitting from hardware store (same as used for dishwasher/refrigerator with a compression coupling to plastic pipe with inner/outer collars). Much better and I feel happier it will not leak and ruin my kitchen in the future. First gallon or so of water was very cloudy but after that great. Did a taste test with tap and filtered water and much better taste.

Title: GE quality
Review: Good quality filter system. The water in my area is from Lake Michigan, so the purity is good. The chlorine can be quite strong though. This filter makes the water taste like bottled water. I recommend replacing filters every six months. I have only used the GE brand filters, so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the after market brands being sold here.

Title: Easy Install
Review: Out of the box and operating in an hour. The instructions are great and simple to follow which made for a very quick and easy install. My picky kids say they like the taste of the water better than our Alhambra water service, which was the point to replace that monthly water service which was very expensive. This is a great cost savings measure.

Title: Easy water filtration system install with separate faucet
Review: This water filtration system is super easy to install, the instructions that come with the product are very easy to understand. The best part is the separate faucet. We had another filtration system before where you had a knob that you had to turn to either get the filtered water or just the regular water, long story short, that knob broke rather quickly and we had to replace the entire system. With the separate faucet that won’t be the case.Using filtered water gives you a peace of mind.

Title: GE missed the mark!
Review: Installed this today. Faucet missing top o-ring, base holder! Opened all boxes and double checked, no success! Got it to work BUT poor quality control! Will not purchase or recommend again!

Title: DO NOT BUY!
Review: I have now purchased two of these. It is missing a vital part in both (the cold water line adapter—pictured). When you call the GE number the manual says to call, the same lady will tell you that this is an Amazon problem and to send it back. I did that one time, and got a second unit missing the same piece. I called back and she says she can’t send out the part or a new unit. It may be an Amazon problem, but I bought this from the GE store on Amazon, which means it’s their legit product and they’re unwilling to stand by their product or help in the least bit. She suggested I go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and get the part myself, but she couldn’t give me a part number. I have had my sink tore apart for 5 days. Someone at GE or their subsidiaries likely ran out of parts and didn’t include them or someone on the assembly line was asleep while standing. Who knows?! But do yourself a favor and do not buy this or you will be as angry as I am right now.
