Title: Great reverse osmosis unit. Works great. No after-taste. No plastic taste. Very easy to use.
Review: I'm impressed by Stokk's countertop machine. It works great. To me, it is much easier to set up and maintain compared to traditional reverse osmosis systems, because this countertop unit does not need any plumbing. It is also much easier to change the filters. There is no after-taste. There is no plastic taste. Another person wrote a review saying that the internal tank of this machine gives the water a plastic taste after it sits overnight, but this is NOT true. I tested this myself multiple times. There IS a temporary taste right after you change the filter, but if you flush the machine a full 6 times, then that takes care of it. That reviewer probably tasted the water without flushing it enough.I personally find that it needs to be flushed 8 full times after the filter is changed, and that's when there is finally no after-taste. Also, I have to point out that reverse osmosis water is quite "empty". In that sense, reverse osmosis water in general has a different taste if you are not used to it. So, it can take a day or two in order to get used to the pure taste of the water. It comes with a 1-liter pitcher. When you press the "pitcher" button, it will automatically fill the pitcher to 1-liter, and then stops by itself. This takes about one minutes. While it does that, you can do other things that you would normally be doing in your kitchen. I do that multiple times in order to fill a 1-gallon jug that I have. The machine can ouput 4 liters of water (just over a gallon) before it needs to be re-filled. To do that, you first remove the plastic lid, which just rests on the back. Then you grab the internal handle within the water container. You first pull horizontally, backwards about two or three inches, which pops it off. Then you pull straight up, and it lifts out of the machine. Then, place it into the sink, tilt it slightly, and fill it with the faucet until it reaches the line marked on the side. The machine is a little taller than I expected, and doesn't fit under my kitchen cabinets, but I ended up finding a spot for it. It is 16.25 inches tall, but you also want a bit extra clearance since you need to move the machine every time you have to change the water container at the back of it, which will usually be once per day.Afterwards, you put the container back into the machine, in the exact reverse order that you took it out. First, tilt it a little bit, in the same way it was before. Lower it down. After it makes contact with the base, now just push it forward horizontally, while making sure that the two "connectors" on the side are properly aligned. After it is fully pushed forward, put the plastic cap back on, which just keeps dust out. Right away, the machine starts automatically pumping the internal tank with filtered water.Personally, I don't use the mineral filter that it comes with. I just get gallon jugs of spring water from the store, and I add about 1/8 of a gallon into each gallon of reverse-osmosis water that I put into my gallon jug. That adds enough natural minerals into it.I've been using this machine for three weeks now, and everything is working perfectly. If that ever changes, I'll make an update here. So if I never update this, then it is still working great. So, give this unit a try. You can always return it for free if you don't like it, which is why I decided to try it. I'm glad I did.

Title: I would recommend, only improvement would be if it could do cold.
Review: I liked that it came out together, not much to set up! The water tastes great. I tried the tap, purified, and mineralized water side by side and it is definitely and improvement.I did not have any leakage, although I did my due diligence and checked everything prior to plugging in.Initially, I was worried about how many filters there were and how much they would cost but they are between 3-24 months so you donât have to swap them all out every 90days. So the filter life is a bit higher than the standard filters like brita. It is very high quality and heavy which I like a lot. Some people were worried about the size of it. I donât share this sentiment. I think it is a good size. It fits on my counter and the size helps get the quantity of water I would need. Of course you have the maintenance/refilling aspect to worry about so I would not recommend this for people who might not be able to lift the tank or fill it properly. However, it gives me enough water for my uses. Although I do have to refill a couple times, I think this is perfectly fine as I drink a TON of water and is so much easier than my brita.

Title: Convenient
Review: So far so good. The directions aren't the greatest, kind of a guesing game if the appropriate lights are coming on when you are doing the 1st time flush. It works. Although chosing the volume by glass doesn't stop when you have 8.oz etc so I don't know how that is suppose to work, no videos found on how. The mineral filter does not overflow like some have complained of, but I did soak it for about 3 hours before use. Overall very happy with it but just started using yesterday, will update at a later date. I used a berky for years, then a distiller but after several years I'm tired of that nightly routine. I don't mind pulling the unit out and turn to get to the water tank to refill, not a big deal. So far happy with it, water tastes good ðUPDATE the volume feature works, I think it was operator error. Loving this machine so easy and conventional and looks stylish. I bought the Grey modle. I always buy the warranty for things like this and it has come in to be worth it. I do recommend this product. ð

Title: What I know after 1 week
Review: The product is made well enough and it performs the intended functions well - The water comes out better than it went in.The 6L capacity is misleading. It is half that at best due to the way RO works. Accurate marketing would be appreciated. The product is primarily of plastic construction. Not bad construction but I have concerns about the longevity of the product - only time will tell.Overall it is a good product that I would probably buy again assuming it fails in a few years.

Title: Happy with the Device and Great Customer Service
Review: I've had this Stokk filter for a couple of months and am now happy with the filtering process and the taste of the water. "Ann," in customer service, was excellent in answering my questions. One thing: the instructions, at times, was "challenging" to understand. I managed to eventually get things right, but it was a challenge.I would recommend this filter to others.

Title: light, clean water just as potable water should taste
Review: Itâs pretty easy to use and install. The noise while filtering water is not too noticeable. The appearance is neat and doesnât take too much space. The tank is pretty big so no need too refill constantly, so far the performance itâs satisfactory, weâll keep you posted on filter life. For our budget this was the most adequate too.

Title: Will never buy again
Review: First purchased was not delivered, automatically cancelled and Iâm guessing because I paid a lower price during Amazon prime and seller didnât want to send it. Then the price increased, doesnât matter I still purchased it for the second time looking at the amount of reviews. Guess what, I received a defect product, purification was completed, uv light blink non stop and water just not coming out, pressed all 4 buttons and water is just not coming out. Left it on to run, next thing I check the filter is off and canât be turn on anymore. There shouldâve been proper QC.
