☼ Instant Hot Water: The 8kW electric tankless water heater supplies instant & endless hot water of 108℉ or higher with no waiting for preheating or temperature fluctuations. perfect companion for faucet and sinks, bringing you perfect experience of comfort and relaxing.
☼ Save Energy: Water is only heated when you need it, not stored in a hot water tank. The self-modulating temperature technology only uses energy to heat up water while you are using it to save up to 50% on water heating energy compared to a typical tank water heater.
☼ Save Space: A traditional water heater in the basement or utility closet takes up a ton of space. This wall-mounted water heater uses 90% less space than a hot water heater with a tank. Compared to our next-largest 9kW water heater, this 8kW unit is 30% smaller with only 3,412 BTUs.
☼ Important Note: In order to install 8kW Electric Tankless Water Heater, it will require a 240 Voltage, 40 AMP circuit breaker. Please check to confirm that your breaker panel meets these specifications before purchasing.
☼ Safe To Use: With high temp protection, dry heating protection, and electrical leakage protection you can rest easy knowing you have safe, on-demand hot water to use on your schedule. The electric and fluid systems are completely separated to prevent electric leakage and water pipe corrosion.

Title: More than expected!
Review: I am very impressed with the customer service of this company, Airthereal. After two different technicans attempted troubleshooting and repairing the first unit, an EVT-9K Tankless Water Heater, I called the company for advice. The customer service reps went well behond what I expected and within seven days I had a new unit. A VERY IMPRESSIVE RESPONSE!!I will use this company again, the product, the EVT-9K Tankless Water Heater, (the second unit) is working flawlessly, and, the customer service is OUTSTANDING!

Title: Easy install with correct tools
Review: This is the second Airthereal I've purchased. The first for a customer and this one for me. Each is replacing an Ecosmart Eco-18. The first Eco failed in the first few months, and mine after 3 years. I've installed 7 Eco units and two have failed. From now on I'll just install Airthereal units. If in the future they fail, I'll update.

Title: Requires manual restart after every power flicker or outage
Review: As I say in all of my reviews, each product starts with 3 stars. Why? Because 3 means it met expectations, no more and no less. I add or remove stars from there based on whether I was impressed or disappointed, and on any interaction with manufacturer (not Amazon) customer service. This unit gets 1 star since it does not work as expected, nor was customer service helpful when I reached out.Yes, it is a tankless water heater and it does in fact heat your water to (as far as I can tell) the appropriate temperature. Installation was no easier or harder than other units I've installed. The issue is that it becomes inactive with any power interruption at all, whether it's an outage or even a flicker of lights. In order to get it to work again, I have to get into the crawlspace and manually press the power button; otherwise, it won't heat water. To be clear, it doesn't get fully reset - it remembers settings such as the target water temperature - it simply remains in "Standby" mode until the power button is touched. Also to be clear, while this happens with full power outages (no power) and even the kind of flickers that happen during storms or high wind or just randomly. I'm talking the kind of power blips that don't even reset the microwave or range clocks because they're so fast and minor; they do, however, cause this unit to go into permanent standby. While made more frustrating since this unit is in my crawlspace - yours might be in a closet or garage that is much easier to access - I only reduced the rating by 1 star for this. I have a 10-year old 27kW EcoSmart (since purchased by Rheem) that cost less then than this 18kW Airthereal unit does now and it doesn't have such a ridiculous design flaw. It just works. This brings me to the second star I removed and the reason for a 1-star rating: customer service. I contacted Airthereal customer service about this issue almost 2 weeks before the 30-day Amazon return window closed and they drew out their responses so long that the 30 days passed, meaning I couldn't return it. Admittedly, I could have disconnected it at any point and returned without waiting for a response from Airthereal, but I was hoping that such obviously unintentional behavior would be recognized as a functional defect that they would address with an updated control board or something, but no. I was informed that the customer service rep "consulted" with their engineering team and that the unit is functioning as designed.Just to be completely sure, I ordered a second unit 5 months after the first and tested to see if my original was in fact defective or if Airthereal had made improvements to the design. It same issue exists: any power interruption, no matter how small, causes the unit to be stuck in standby mode until the power button is touched to reset it.

Title: very good with one problem
Review: I am much happier with this than my prior one, mostly because I can set the temperature. The problem is that when the power goes out (very common in Puerto Rico), the heater does not turn on again. I mounted it near the ceiling, so I have to frequently get on a stool to push the power button.

Title: Seems like a quality product
Review: I bought this as my conventional hot water heater went bad . I chose this unit , because if offered the information to be able to choose the right unit for where I lived and for my use . I am satisfied with the purchase , it provides endless adequate hot water , for my entire house . Granted it takes a while to get hot water at the kitchen sink , but that is like a 40 ft run , and probably not designed for that , but the conventional tank took even longer . The only thing is I wish I would have paid closer attention to is the amperage draw and the wiring requirements , so I could have had the necessary material on hand . but that is my fault .This unit does draw about 33 amps and requires 8 ga stranded wire , and a 40 amp breaker . So that did add about $100 to the install . Having only 100 amp service , I will have to pay attention to what I have going . So far no trouble . I did originally hook it up too the 12 /2 wire that the old heater was connected to , but it did get warm , and was afraid that if I got a leak after the heater there would be a fire risk so hooked it up with the required wire and breaker . I am satisfied with this purchase , Haven't had it long enough to realize if there will actually be any energy savings , I am skeptical , though with the wattage and amp draw , but we'll see , I expect it to be a wash .
Customers say
Customers like the ease of installation and look of the water heater. They mention it's surprisingly easy to install and operate, with great instructions. However, some customers have reported issues with reliability and water flow. Opinions are mixed on functionality, heat level, and durability.
