Title: Be realistic!!!
Review: Ok, so I flip houses for a living. This is my 4th tankless , and my 1st vevor 18k. Here’s the deal with these electric tankless water heaters. They won’t run every outlet you have at once unless you step up to the really big ones that run off gas. But if you are creative they will run a few.So when I hook these up usually they won’t heat up all they way because the inlet water temp is to cold. Here’s what I do, and have never had a problem. When I run the water lines to the input , I’ll put a T at the top of input and a T on the top of output. Then put a one way check valve alllowing the hot water to go into the input side , allowing the input temp to climb high enough to heat the water effectively. Works every time. 14k and up. I’ve never had anything smaller but hopefully you understand what I’m takkkbg about.Look at the top of my pic. You’ll understand better. The check valve won’t let cold water to flow into the output but lets hot water into the input side. Raising the temp,

Title: Installation woes by design
Review: I’ve never installed a tankless water heater before. Maybe they’re all this way (but I hope not). First of all, I’d give it a “D+” for ease of installation. Like I said, it’s my first install… but I’m an accomplished diy plumber and I’m an industrial electrician and mechanic by trade, so this ain’t my first rodeo! It seems to me that a proper design for an appliance such as this would include a back housing that would easily and solidly attach to the wall; allow for installation of water lines and electrical connections; then the cover or face panel would attach securely to the front of the housing to finish. Not this baby!!! The front panel (with controls) is inconveniently and inexplicably attached and detached from the back with four long screws. (There is also absolutely no mention in the instructions about how to remove the panel, so you’ll have to figure that out on your own!) I had to temporarily attach the unit to the wall, install water lines and power cables, then I had to enlist some help to hold the unit away from the wall (with two 3/4” PEX pipes and two 8/2 220V electric cables attached) while I wrangled the cover back in place and threaded in the screws from the back. I can only imagine how difficult it will be when maintenance is required. As for now, it seems to be working as expected, but I have not done any rigorous testing yet. This is an 18kW unit installed in a house with one tub/shower, two sinks, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Should be well within the design parameters for our region. I’d have to give it a tentative “A” for preliminary performance, but I’ll update once we’ve put some serious demand on the unit and we’ve been able to determine if the efficiency is what we are anticipating.UPDATE; After three months, I have upgraded my rating from three stars to four. Unit is operating very well and seems to be quite efficient. One caveat I would issue is this: since this unit is being shipped to you as an individual unit (as opposed to being shipped as a pallet load going to a supplier or retailer) you should fully depress the little black reset buttons on each of the heater elements prior to installation. Rough handling could cause them to activate prematurely during normal operation, as one of them seems to have done on mine.

Title: GREAT HEATER SO FAR
Review: It's for our shower only. Gets the water hot faster than our old one and keeps it consistently hot all the time. Easy to set temp and it allows more pressure to go through for a really nice shower. Liking it a lot.

Title: Nah, not good.
Review: Installed this and had a pro wire it. It has 3/4" inlet and outlet. However when you open the cover it is reduced to what appear to be 1/4 maybe 5/16's pipe. It only will deliver to one faucet at a time a very small stream of actual hot water. If you turn it wide open, it can't keep up. I have it set to 135 degrees and the max the output is 91 degrees. Just not what I expected now that I am at just under a grand invested.$300 for unit$560 for electrician$100 for self plumbing. It will greatly increase if you hire a plumber.Vevor has great products, but this one needs to go away. Not to mention it is a huge power drain when activated.

Title: Ingenuity is a Must
Review: This is a great looking tankless heater, but like other reviews it could use a few major adjustments. The first is that the rear access screws must go. It is problematic to attach the cover from the rear after wiring the unit. Number two is the fact that you are trying to route #6 wire in such limited space it is impossible to use the plastic anchor to secure the wire inside the unit. You must bring the wire straight into the back of the box, but you must strip the outer casing and bring in only the wires themselves. Then you have to bend them down 90 degrees and slip the stripped ends carefully into each lug securing them with an itty bitty screw. Doesn't make much sense to me either. The wires have to be cut to length precisely without fail or they won't fit. #6 AWG is not very forgiving when trying to move it around in very limited spaces. I ended up drilling through the front cover with my drill press, and using #12 x 2" flat head screws and secured the cover from the front. I have yet to run this unit, but I'm sure it will be fine.

Review: So far for dishes and showers this machine works wellIt doesn’t seem to keep up to full flow when filling the bath. Have to keep the flow down little slower to fill but still works. Not sure how it’s keeping up with heat in washing machine.Does draw enough electricity but since it’s only working when it needs too it shouldn’t affect the bill too much. Will find out soon.Overall impressed

Review: I was pretty happy with the product when I first started to use it. After only 2-3 car wash the heather got pretty weak already. At first I was able to heat the water up to 120 but only after a few weeks it's only going up to 70-80 degree. I wouldn't suggest this product unless you only need to wash you hands.
