All-weather Construction: Heavy duty metal frame is coated with special powder finish, making the garden hose reel cart suitable for all weather. The solid brass connector makes the garden hose leakage-proof and wear-resistant.
Excellent Stability: A low center of gravity increases the stability of the hose reel cart, reducing the possiblity of tipping when pulling out the water hose. Two solid explosion-proof knobby tires also ensure the stability in most road conditions.
Simple Assembly: All the components of the hose reel cart are listed in the instruction, and many parts are pre-assembled and almost ready-to-use, so you can assemble the hose reel cart effortlessly within just a few easy steps.
Large Hose Capacity: Holds 150 ft of 5/8 inch garden hose or 200 ft of 1/2 inch garden hose. But NOT with the 3/4-inch hose (hose not included). Fitted with 5 ft lead-in hose, the large capacity of garden hose reel cart make it a great helper for your garden and yard.

Title: Heavy duty movable water hose reel
Review: I was looking to replace an old plastic movable water hose reel. I saw this on Amazon and was interested. However, some of the product purchaser reviews were beginning to dissuade me. One review said the axle shaft was too short, another said it leaked water. I ended up going ahead with and ordering one since I didn't see anything else that I really liked. When my order arrived, I was surprised with how heavy the box was. The contents were well packed and everything in the box looked okay. Assembly of the frame was easy and more-or-less straight forward. I did run into an issue when placing the wheels on the axle. Something didn't seem right. Upon closer examination, I noticed that the wheel hubs are not centered in the middle of the wheels. The hubs are off-set to one side. Once the wheels were put into the correct orientation (hub off-set closer to the frame), the axle washers and cotter-pins went on with no issue.I then connected my water hose to the reel and turned on the water. It leaked at the hose connection. I spent hours trying to figure out why it leaked. New hose washers were used but they became damaged from over tightening the hose fitting and the leak continued. After taking a break to clear my head, I wondered if the water hose fitting was the problem. The water hose is a old Craftsman 5/8" heavy-duty rubber water hose. I decided to cut off the old hose end and change it to a different type with brass knurled end. That fixed my water leak problem! The problem wasn't the hose reel after all.I'm happy with the over-all function of the hose reel. When pulling out the water hose, it doesn't move around as much as my old plastic reel.

Title: Troubleshooted for an hour, still leaked.
Review: The entire installation proved to be a very sturdy design and exactly what we were looking for. It took about 30- 40 minutes to assemble. Everything was great, until we went to hook up the hose to the interior connector. The design of the connection has two big gaps(photo reference) where you thread on the hose. And no matter how loose or tight we connected it, water was steady stream leaking. We tried changing out the washers and various other options, but had no success. We looked back at the reviews to find a number of people with a very similar problem, that also didnât find a solution. We returned it for that reason, but I could also see another problem arising with the sharp angle design to get the hose from connection to start reeling up (photos from other reviews could better explain). It looks like the hose could kink up easily in that position.

Title: Solid design, poor assembly instructions
Review: The reel seems well built and sturdy. It work well and I like the design. Be aware; assembly will take some time. The instructions are poorly worded. Take a close look at pictures, it will help. Also, I ended up with 4 bolts that are listed in the parts page, but are never used in the assembly process. i don't know why. Also, this is the second one I had to order. The first came damaged, missing parts, and with no instructions. It looks like someone gave up mid assembly and threw it in the box to return. The company should not have sent it back out to the next customer.

Title: Versitile Design Stands Out
Review: I bought this one to use as a Cart with the intention to see if it can be modified so you can wall mount it. This is the powder coat steel version which is far less than the Stainless version and lesser still than the stainless wall mount only version. So if you want to use the reel part as a wall mount you can configure it to meet your needs (hose/crank side, reel guide angles, base bayonet orientation). I will wait a bit to see if they will offer this steel version without the cart before I get another. It is heavier than it looks. All the hardware is non-ferrous (mostly stainless) which is great but wow the cotter keys to the axle will test you hand strength and ability to use needle nose pliers.Instruction were on the high side of poor or low side of adequate. Assembly was simple, so the vague instructions didn't really matter. But you'll have to have your thinking cap on as you assemble.Tire are not pneumatic, and I stood on them with no deflection. They are large and work perfectly. I expect them last and be trouble free for the life of the cart.I had ZERO leaks on testing.Bought the 100' Giraffe hose which I found to be very lightweight and flexible, it worked well with the reel. No idea how long this hose will last but at least I don't have to fight it like my older stiff vinyl hose. If it lasts 5 years I will be happy. Two things I didn't like:1. The cart ships with a short Giraffe feeder hose, mine shows a kink in the diameter but it didn't leak and is not noticeable under Pressure. Thinking it will be fine but does make me wonder.2. The guide reel runs on a screw drive track and there is a lever on it that you can use to disengage it from the track. When I went to engage it, the guide wasn't in one of the track grooves and the lever is simply underneath a lifting hook.. The result was the lever just feel off. Easy enough to put back on but really not a great design.Still a new owner, but thinking I will buy another for a wall mount in the back yard.

Title: Good quality materials, bad instruction set
Review: Hi, I bought this hose reel after wrestling with many plastic ones. Admittedly the material is of high quality, stainless parts, powder coated steel frame, hose guide is a big plus. Some comments: instruction sheet poorly written, bad grammar, not clear, could have used different nomenclature for the parts list. Cotter pins appear to be Stainless, but they are not easy to bend, more like spring metal than the proper metal for a cotter pin. the hose reel assembly base did not match up with the hose reel frame. had to use a clamp to bring the two together. I like the tires (no air) never flat. so far no leaks! will write another review in one month. gave extra parts that don't belong to this reel. The parts were heavy duty expansion bolts.

Review: After less than 12 months of ownership (or 4 months of use) the belt that drives the reel from the handle has stretched to the point the reel is useless. i bought this to help my wife reel in the hose.I wouldn't recommend this product. I have sent a request for a refund or report back when/if there is a resolution. May 22/24

Customers like the build quality and functionality of the winding reel. They mention it's well-made and the hardware is non-ferrous. However, some dislike that parts are missing. Opinions differ on the ease of assembly, leakage, and the design.
