Title: Effective, easy to use, no killing guilt involved
Review: Howdy, It took about a week to catch a mouse but darn it this trap is very useful and does not involve killing the small mouse that went for the bait. I have had enough of the mouse/gopher guilt to be honest. Used cookie crumbles and raisins for bait. I think peanut butter would be better but wanted to avoid the messy clean up. I could hear the mouse moving around in the trap so that also checked off the "i hope i dont miss having caught a mouse and it dying in the trap" worry. I freely admit that i have a soft spot when it comes to animals, even tiny little pests who are very cute, and how to remove them from the house. If you are looking for a highly effective, no kill option then this is the trap i would buy. The price is not a problem and while some reviews knock the quality of the trap i have no issues with it's construction.Cheers,Elliottp.s. the site says 1 unit but that unit holds 2 traps.

Title: Easy to use! Works great!
Review: Bought these when I started noticing mice droppings by my dogs food. Had previously tried the 5 gallon bucket method, which did not work. In my old house in the woods, we used to put mice bait in the attics and garages, Which would occasionally smell when they died And actual mouse traps, but thatâs just gross to deal with. These are effective and humane. Within two days of setting one trap, I had a mouse. Caught another one a couple of days later. These traps are super easy to use out of the box. Simply Press the trap door down to lock it, throw in a few nuts, seeds or raisins (I do not recommend peanut butter as it would be difficult to clean out) and place the trap along the wall or back edge of a counter near where youâve seen dropping or suspect mice. Check on it daily. The first mouse made a lot of noise shaking the trap so I knew he was there, the second mouse was very quiet. Once youâve captured a mouse, put the whole trap into a box or bag and drive to a natural area (Do not just release it outside near your home or it will simply find its way back to your house!!). To release the mouse, simply lift the back hatch completely off and shake the mouse away from you out the opening.Iâm very happy with these traps and highly recommend them.

Title: Easy to use and worked well
Review: I bought these to capture a mouse that we kept seeing in our basement. However that mouse turned out to be a family of rodents that moved in while we were on vacation. Even though we unfortunately had MULTIPLE mice to get rid of, it did mean we got to test these traps quite well.We baited them with a little peanut butter and both traps have caught several mice easily. Not a single one has been able to escape once caught. It doesnât hurt them. One mouse did get his tail caught in the door, but we were able to get that unstuck without releasing him and he seemed just fine.Theyâre also safe for kids and pets to be around. Iâm worried about the germs (they are washable by the way), but not the trap injuring my kids if they randomly decided to play with it. In fact one of my kids felt bad for the mouse and decided to give him a pretzel while I wasnât watching. He was able to put it in the door without hurting himself or releasing the mouse. At first I was worried the colored plastic would scare the mice away. But like I said both traps have caught several mice, so that doesnât seem to be an issue. Hopefully we have caught them all and we can put them away now. But they worked for us and we were rather impressed at how well they worked for the money.

Title: Mousepocolypse
Review: On July 3, our city weed wacked the entire hillside behind our houses to prevent fires. On July 10, and adjacent hillside caught fire, on July 14 my sweet cat died from cancer, on July 15 the house flippers over the hillside from me decided to gut their rental home after evicting shall we say some less than savory renters, on July 16th? I noticed the first mouse. Let us say I live in the horcrux of rodent-mania. Before I could even get our pest control out here, (who have also turned out to be less than savory as it happens,) mice had invaded our sofa, the beds, every single closet, every part of the garage, the attic, the linens, the bedsheets, the shelving and well? It's been hell. We are animal lovers, but this has been too much. Our pest control put traps into the attic, and around a few places outside and in our garage. We decided to try to live trap as many as we could. So far? The pest control people have caught exactly 2 mice. We? We have caught at released at our local park over 45 mice in the last few weeks. We are still catching them with these. It's exhausting. We've never had to do so much work plugging holes, putting sweeps on doors, replacing doors, throwing out or laundering clothing, our dry cleaning bill is into the hundreds and hundreds. THEN, we were told we also had rats, and conveniently, a dead rat was found in our yard the same day our pest control was here. AND AFTER our inspection WE found a giant hole that mama squirrel had bored into the soffits of the house! Our pest inspector never even saw it! Anyway, it's been a journey, we are both tired. We are both sick of rodents, cute though they are, they are pests. We find these traps to be very useful, although cleaning them is tedious and extremely time consuming and gross. But at least we know that we are not personally hurting anyone with our humane traps. We just both need some sleep. Can't put the house back together until I see that all of our traps have been empty for at least three weeks. So far? after the first 45 mice, we are catching about one a day now. With couple days of not catching anyone, then they are there again. We are very hopeful that this is going to end eventually, but it appears to be continuing. Like I said, mouseratsquirrelpocolypse. I would not with this journey on my worst enemy.
