Title: Fantastic mouse trap- very effective
Review: We just caught two field mice in a matter of hours. The trick was to tape a quarter to the far end of the trip plate (nearest to the food) so that even a tiny mouse would trigger the trap. I love the traps because they are large enough to not hurt the little critters and also releasing them back outside is very easy. The bait we used was rolled oats, but I've read people have good success with sunflower seeds or peanut butter. Reviewers who said the traps didn't work probably need to weight the trip plate or use different bait.

Title: Works perfectly with easy modification
Review: I live in the country and have used many humane mousetraps. I have had issues with the colored ones and the metal containers. They are too 'short' in design and will often cut the tail or foot of the mouse. I have had bloody (and even dead) mice get caught in them and that doesn't seem too humane. I was looking for a longer tube to avoid this problem and bought these. The only issue? I noticed at first mice were entering the trap (I found poop) but it wasn't closing. They mice were too light on the trap floor to spring the door shut. After catching two mice in one trap I realized the problem and fixed easy. I super glued a dime to the back of the trap floor. It's just a tiny bit of extra weight that works every time the mice enter. I have no longer had the problem with the mice stealing bait and leaving trap. I have caught 10 plus mice in this trap but not one has hurt themselves or got their tail caught in anything so these will be our 'go to' traps from now on. They are easy to clean and I don't put messy bait in them, mice will pretty much eat anything so a small cracker or piece of cookie works to lure them in. It does seem to be the better design choice out there right now for us. A little more expensive but they seem to be holding up well. I had issues with the colored traps and the mice chewing their way out of the plastic. So far, nobody has been able to get out of these. I am surprised, but they are working with the glued dime.

Title: Easy, effective, safe, but hard to clean
Review: Trap works great, just as described. I bait it with just a few sunflower kernels and thatâs enough to usually catch a mouse within a day. Itâs easy to release them without making any contact. Deducting one star though because it is hard to clean. The mice inevitably make a mess while theyâre stuck inside the trap, and their urine/droppings get under the platform that triggers the door to snap closed. That piece canât be removed without breaking the trap. If you donât thoroughly clean it, the platform starts to stick and stops triggering, so mice are free to steal the bait and walk right out of the trap. Iâve learned to spray it down with a pressure attachment on the garden hose, soak it in some cleaning solution and hot water, then spray some lubricant on the joints and springs to keep the trap mechanism from sticking. That works well, but itâs a lot of extra effort and the trap canât be used in the meantime. Iâd recommend ordering more than you need to rotate them.

Title: Just doesn't work
Review: I had originally written a bad review for this because mice were clearly entering the traps, taking the food and leaving without getting caught. But I have since had some better luck with this to I have raised my rating. I think these traps are OK, but not foolproof.

Title: Heavy Duty, Mice have no chance!!!
Review: I've bought a few sets of the small green type. I find they break easily. I have a field mouse problem because the little guys hole up in the house over the winter, and have a few litters, and there you go, instant mouse party. I have nothing against the mice. It is not their fault that a warm house is much nicer than a cold field outside. So, about this trap. Heavy duty, thick acrylic parts, easy to figure out, and clean. What I like is the ends are reinforced so they cannot nibble through the plastic. The spring is tight and the snapping sound is loud so I can tell if one has gotten caught. There is plenty of space to feed them, so they can spend a few days in mouse jail while I collect another mouse. The only thing I do not like is there is no way to dump the mouse in another container. They are fast and jump high, so it is two at a time until I get the next set.

Title: The BEST Humane Mouse Trap
Review: In the past year I have purchased three Humane Mouse Traps from other companies and this by far is the best functioning and study one, making it the only one you would need. Other companies traps are too short and can catch tails, or are built from cheap plastic and the mice can chew threw the essential parts to allow them to escape. This trap is long enough not to cause harm, has metal reinforcements around openings. This humane trap will be the only one you will ever need to purchase, whish I had found it sooner.

Title: Mouse trap doesn't work
Review: Absolute trash, does not trigger when a mouse steps on it. The latch is way too coarse. You would have to get a full size rat to step on this thing in order to get the door to shut. I want to return but I was one day late of the window. Don't buy this if you want to catch mice. I even tried to shave the latch to get the mice to trigger step on it but they can still steal the bait and get away most of the time. You are better off doing a homemade bucket trap or something.
Customers say
Customers find the mouse trap effective and easy to use. It's a good size with wide air vents that mice aren't too hesitant to go in. The trap is spacious enough that they don't feel too hesitant to go inside. They find it simple to open to let the mice out. The build quality is good, with reinforced ends that prevent nibbling. The release time is described as humane and safe.
