You wash your hands before dinner. In most homes, it’s a standard practice. And just like you wouldn’t wash your hands with only water, the same should go for your fruits and vegetables. Those wondering how to wash fruit properly need only to turn to Fit Organic Fruit and Vegetable Wash, a trusted and certified organic produce wash. Fit Organic wash removes 98% more waxes, pesticides, and other contaminants from your fruits and veggies than water alone. Produce is porous and water just won’t clean down into the many uneven bumps and grooves that coat your fruits and vegetables. While water can bead up ineffectively on the surface of your food, Fit Organic produce wash gets down into the fiber of the plant, removing any remaining wax and pesticides. If you want to know how to thoroughly wash pesticides off fruit in the safest manner, look no further than Fit Organic, the only USDA-certified organic and kosher (OU) fruit and vegetable wash. Fit Organic is the best way to wash fruit and vegetables. It’s more than just a name—Fit Organic is USDA certified organic by the prestigious Oregon Tilth Company, which means our farms and ingredients have been painstakingly vetted and shown to be truly organic, using no artificial chemicals or ingredients. Our products are also certified as vegan, kosher, and completely animal cruelty-free. Using Fit Organic’s fruit and veggie wash soak solution is as simple as can be: Just mix in a capful for every half gallon of water you use, soak for 2-3 minutes, rinse under water, and your produce is clean, tasty, and ready to go. You’ll never have to worry about chemicals and contaminants again once you know how to properly wash fruit with Fit. Why would you use artificial chemicals to clean chemicals from your produce? Fit Organic is made from food to clean food and is the only Certified Organic and Kosher Produce Wash available. We’re Nielsen’s #1 Market Leader for a reason. Buy some Fit Organic Fruit and Vegetable Wash today and eat cleaner produce!

Title: I like the stuff
Review: I have used Fit for several years, and have always liked the product. Recently the local supermarkets in the area can't seem to decide if they are going to carry it or not, so I bought the 3-pack from Amazon. Based on history, it probably lasts well over a year. The Good Points:* I am not a chemist, so I have no idea if Fit removes any pesticides, harmful wax, dirt and grime, or left-over pixie dust. What I do know is that fruits and vegetables SEEM to be cleaner.* Fit will lather up a bit when you spray it on. I assume that the lather means it is removing the dirt and grime from everyone who had handled the food since it was last washed. (As an aside, why do people think it is OK to let their kids handle all the apples in the produce bin?)* The Fit bottle stays on the kitchen counter at all times, and it serves as a reminder to wash stuff before I eat it. It is worth having around for that reason alone.* In the only true test I have ever tried, I have rinsed strawberries under cold water, then sprayed them with Fit, then rinsed them again. There is always dirt visibly removed with the 2nd rinse. (And no, I never tried a double-blind test with a second water-only rinse). The Bad Points:* None as far as I am concerned. I am sure I am getting ripped off buying Fit rather than mixing up some combination of lemon juice and club soda that I could no doubt find on the internet...but to be honest, the stuff doesn't cost enough to bother with.SummaryI like the stuff, and honestly believe that fruits and vegetables are cleaner, and therefore healthier if I use it. It doesn't seem to add any tastes or residue to foods. As far as I am concerned, I THINK it works, and don't believe it causes any harm. For me, that makes it worth the cost.

Title: Manufacturing Problem - Hopefully Resolved
Review: This is an update to the review below. The new shipment was yellow instead of clear. I called the manufacturer and received a very nice call back from them. They have had a problem in manufacturing Fit with one of the ingredients oxidizing and turning the batch yellow when it ages. They have resolved the issue and are shipping me a replacement order (3 quarts). This is as of 11/11/2021. They are manufacturing the new batch in about 10 days and will then ship it. The person I spoke to was very nice and very apologetic. They clearly stand behind their product and support the consumer. If you have an issue with Fit that has turned yellow I would advise calling the manufacturer. It did take two days for the return call.We have been using Fit cleaner for years and highly recommend it for cleaning fruit and veggies. It works very well and rinses clean. I use it in some old Fit spray bottles that I purchased at a grocery store. Buying it in this 3 pack is immensely cheaper. I highly recommend Fit as a powerful yet harmless cleaner.

Title: An Excellent Product - Update 7/10/12
Review: For several years, I purchased Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash from WalMart. It was featured in the produce section, which made sense. For apples, pears, potatoes, oranges etc. I spray the straight Fit on them and scrub them a little bit with my hand. Then I rinse them thoroughly under the faucet. I place grapes, strawberries, lettuce etc in a colander, dunk the colander in a 25% Fit/75% water solution then rinse them thoroughly. As another customer noted, there is no aftertaste and, judging by the muddy brown appearance of the wash water, this product is certainly doing its job. After WalMart remodeled, I couldn't find Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash or any similar product anywhere in their store. When I asked the produce manager, I was told that it was no longer available. My response was "Oh, yeah! We'll see about that." Sure enough, I found Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash at Amazon on my first try and ordered it immediately. My order came promptly with no problems and I was, as always, extremely pleased with Amazon's service.Whenever our local merchants complain about their customers buying from Amazon instead of from them, I always give the same answer.First of all, with the exception of WalMart, most of these stores keep 'bankers' hours'. They open on weekdays at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 or 5:30 p.m. They close at noon on Saturdays and are not open on Sundays. Since I work from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. for five days a week, this is not convenient for me.At Amazon, on the other hand, I can shop anytime.Secondly, the local merchants don't stock the products I want. i.e. When I went looking for Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash in our local grocery, hardware and drug stores, their managers claimed they'd never heard of it. When they offered to 'special order' it on condition that I agree to buy a full case and pay their markup, shipping charges and sales taxes besides, I said 'thanks, but no thanks'.While my home state, among others, has been trying to legally force Amazon to open their customer records so that they can retroactively collect sales taxes, that isn't the reason I shop here. While I love Super Saver Shipping etc, I come here because Amazon offers the products I want when I want at a price I can afford to pay.Our local merchants on the other hand, don't and won't. Their usual excuse is "The warehouse doesn't have it".If our local merchants would keep convenient hours and stock the products I want, I would buy from them. However, when WalMart unilaterally decided to discontinue this product, no one else was interested in stocking it. I know because I asked them after WalMart didn't even bother to acknowledge my email. As I said, Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash is an excellent product. I have been using it for a number of years and will continue to order to do so for as long as it's available.Update 7/10/12Well, what do you know?WalMart, for whatever reason, has actually started carrying Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash in their produce department again. While I'm happily saying Hallelujah and Amen, I plan to stock up while it's still locally available in case they change their minds again.

Review: This didn't smell or feel like the original Fit I've purchased in the grocery store. It certainly didn't remove the wax from my fruit like the others have in the past. Very disappointed.

Review: I am sure the product is very good I was waiting for it for months because they had no more stock. Upon arrival one of the three containers was empty, It arrived damaged and the cardboard box was soaked. It was repacked by post Canada into a plastic bag. We have started to use the product and are satisfied with it.
