Title: How to Instant Pot Cookbook
Review: How to Instant Pot Cookbook by Daniel Shumski. After finally buying a multi cooker, I needed some cookbooks. This is my favorite so far. I like that it explains each of the features in detail and gives some recipes for each. It covers basic info such as cleaning and maintanence. The recipes are for 6 quart but tells how to adjust recipes for the 3 and 8 quart sizes. It also covers converting recipes for the instant pot. It has many features a beginner would find helpful. The recipes are divided into function and each function has its own chapter so you will have pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice maker, yogurt maker, and steamer recipes all separated into their own chapters. A recipe index at the back lists each recipe be type such as breakfast, etc, but not by function. It also has an alphabetical index which can be used to look up recipes by food type. Many, but not all, recipes have pictures in color.

Title: Another great book from Daniel Shumski
Review: I first came across Mr. Shumski's book called "Will It Waffle?" and still enjoy making recipes from it. I also emailed him for my blog and got a nice answer from him.One day I got curious to see if he'd written any new books, and lo and behold, he had--and he wrote one for the Instant Pot, too! (I need to get his Skillet book, too.)I bought a Duo Evo Plus, the "latest model," in December of 2019, and then ordered this book. I love the book, but at this time, I hate the Instant Pot. Most of the recipes in this and other books as well as on the IP app and places like Pinterest are written for older models and don't work right with mine. So it collects dust. However, I love this book. With the different chapters dedicated to functions rather than types of recipes, he makes it easy to understand how the different functions work. However, I can't seem to get the slow-cooker functions on mine to work right to make some of his delicious chili or chicken soup.I haven't yet tried to make yogurt. We did find a favorite in the Bacon, Corn, and Potato Chowder on page 79. Miraculously, I did not have any trouble making this soup with my IP, so we will make it again. (It's not keto, though!) But when I tried to cook beans, I didn't have as much luck with it--either too soft or not soft enough, and I never found the "sweet spot."I want to try Beef Barbacoa Tacos on page 29 because they're very Texas and I miss home. I've bookmarked several recipes that I hope to try with some success in the future. If I am unsuccessful, I'll take a sledgehammer to that da*mn thing and get a 6-quart slow cooker as I should have.

Title: Mastering All Functions of instapot cook book
Review: I think DANIEL SHUMSKI (the author) did excellent job on the book. Even the red circle on lower right side of front cover says its been recently updated to latest generation of insta pot.My instapot Duo is less the 6mo old.Well Sous vide, Dehydrate and Proofing are not part of this book. If you want to learn more about 3 new functions amazon does have these books by other authors.Overall a quick over it has a lot of recipes i want to try. Good luck and enjoy

Title: Excellent Book for Instant Pot Newbie
Review: Have never heard of an Instant Pot until now! Have pressure cooker that is used on top of oven. Tried that one a couple times and did not like how it worked. Total waste of $50 and it has not been used but twice in 5 years. Was a present, so....I use a crockpot a lot during cold winter months. However, newer crockpots run to high in temp, even on low or warm! Good for the all day babysit stew, chili or soups. Intrigued with the Instant Pot and it's capabilities for simple meals. Purchased the new Ultra 6qt and needed better breakdowns on functions. Ordered 5 Instant Pot books, including this item. Out of the 5, this one has the most and helpful information for someone who knows nothing about the Instant Pot, settings and operation. Other books had little information how to operate or tips and mega recipes which were far to extravagant! I just want to quick cook some chicken, not 25 ingredients to put in blender, cook food and finish in the oven. This book focuses on what is important at this point. I have my new Instant Pot, now how do I use it and what are the precautions? Manual provided not that helpful for a beginner. This book hits a home run! Everything that I need to know about my new cooker. There are some tasty sounding items in the book as well. I will always stick with the quick, low prep, cook fast, no fuss, food. This book will really help. In regards to the other books purchased, 2 have a handful of good tips and recipes. However, they are more geared if you want to make meals to impress. I just wanted to make quick tasty meat, etc.

Title: Miss leading title
Review: It has some good information about how to use the cooker. But I bought it to learn how to cook things fast(pressure cook)! Not to get recipes to slow cook a roast. If I wanted to use a slow cooker I would just get but one of my slow cookers. There are NO RECIPES OR INSTRUCTIONS ON PRESURE COOKING A ROAST, only slow cooking. I had to buy another bookâ¦Presure Cooker Perfection by Americaâs Test Kitchen. If you want more instructions on how to use the pot this might be for you. If you are looking for good recipes to use your pressure cooker go with the other book, or both, not just this book.

Review: Bought this for my daughter who was struggling to master all the aspects of the One Pot that she had bought for herself. She loves it and has learned to use all the functions of the One Pot using this book. Also contains a good selection of recipes.

Review: This is a good book to have as it has all different types of recipes, however I would've liked for it to have an index where the recipes came by types of food. Besides that, pretty good book.
