Title: Wonderful cookbook
Review: My 28 yo daughter was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I have made many recipes from this cookbook. 2 times I made the almond chicken for company. Both times I was asked for the recipe. I make the granola bars weekly. The recipes work for everyone, not just diabetics. Love it!!!

Title: Healthy Recipes that (for the most part) Taste Good
Review: I have been trying to cook healthier meals. It's my hope that I can control my diabetes with dietary changes and not have to take yet another medication. The authors have really worked hard to create flavorful recipes that are low in fat, salt, and overall calories. So far my efforts have been hit or miss. There are some great options for breakfast here. I enjoyed the Fatoush salad and several chicken dishes, but the mushroom meat loaf was labor-intensive and not that great, especially as leftovers. Still, this is a large book, so there's plenty more for me to try, and I feel sure that I will find some new favorites.

Title: Amazing Cookbook
Review: Before I purchased this cookbook I did a fair amount of reading and research to find a good cookbook for someone with Diabetes. It has a lot of great examples of meal plans, why each recipe is good for you as well. Every recipe I've tried has been a hit and absolutely delicious. I find myself looking more and more into this cookbook than any of my others for what to make.

Title: Decent recipes not full of frankenfoods!
Review: This is a great starter book for healthy eating. I am not diabetic, but wanted a healthy diet low in sugars. This book not only had several good recipes, it also had some great info on food- like what potatoes are low in sugar/starch and which are full of starches. I was very happy with this book and the info I learned. (Not a fan of wheat noodles, but that is a me issue!) definitely recommend to someone new to diabetics or wanting to eat a healthier way

Title: Nice Product
Review: As usual with Test Kitchen cookbooks, this book is well-written and very thorough from the proverbial A to Z. However, as with most Test Kitchen recipes the authors assume that you are an experienced cook who knows their way around the kitchen, are familiar with cooking, and have all the necessary ingredients and implements on hand. The recipes and instructions may be a challenge for new and inexperienced cooks.

Title: No serving sizes listed! For gourmet cooks only...
Review: This cookbook does have 400 recipes for diabetics BUT no serving sizes are listed, just the number of servings. This book needs to be reprinted as serving sizes are so important to know for diabetic carbohydrade, sodium, fat counts, etc. There are some pictures for some recipes and there are very interesting and valuable tips, hints and notes from the "Test Kitchen". I would be tempted to keep the cookbook for this reason, however, the list of ingredients for most of the recipes is LONG and usually includes ingredients not found in most home pantries, refrigerators, or freezers, for example: Manchego cheese, crumbled saffron shreds, fresh ginger root, shallots, fennel bulbs. wine, whole grain mustard, fresh herbs, etc. These recipes, for the most part, are EXPENSIVE. However, for people who love to cook and have money and a large chain store or health food store nearby, this would be a good book.... if you go to the trouble of measuring the finished product and dividing by number of servings for serving sizes. This cookbook needs to be REPRINTED after listing all the serving sizes for each recipe. Otherwise a fine gourmet cookbook for diabetics who love to cook with fresh and exotic ingredients.
