Title: One of my best purchases in 2021
Review: I fully admit I am a food nerd. I am extremely picky when it comes to kitchen gadgets and even more so kitchen appliances. I never expected to love this thing so much, but I do. I normally associate all things with this brand as being platinum grade silicone microwave cooking vessels because I worked for a high end kitchen supply store for a part time second job and they made you study the brand before you could sell it to any of the shoppers. So I already came into this purchase with a positive based biased essay. But unboxing it and getting to hold it in my hands I noticed that it was made from plastic. Which really disappointed me since I've only used their silicone products until this purchase. I was skeptical that anything plastic was capable of cooking and producing anything but a subpar end result. However, I was sorely mistaken. My pre-teen child can eat a package of bacon by himself in one sitting. He's become the bacon efficianodo of our household. He was so excited when this arrived. Then when we finally used it, the instructions were clear, easy to follow, and the cooking times were actually spot on for our microwave. It produce a perfectly crisp bacon because all the bacon fat settles into the bottom of the v-shaped ridges keeping it far away from your delectable bacon. This thing takes cooking bacon from being a chore to becoming a pleasure. It frees you up from having to hover over that pan so you're free to work on cooking something else, or to get to work on something else, like enjoying your cup of coffee! This was one of the best things I have bought in a long time. Give it a try, because it's totally worth every penny, especially if there's at least 1 bacon lover living in your home!

Title: Great Product Overall
Review: This product is fairly decent. There are only 2 cons really.Cons:1) Hard to Clean - The grease left behind is no joke. A traditional “hand-wash” with dish soap is going to leave a greasy film behind2) Have to keep a close watch on it if cooking less than 3 slices of bacon - I had one slice cooked perfectly and the other I had to throw out. When I kept it consistent in cooking 3 slices, I was fine.Pros:1. Good product for the price2. Keeps microwave clean/ non-splatter3. Dishwasher safeWith that being said, I think the pros slightly outweigh the cons. Overall, I’m happy with the product.

Title: My go to Microwave cooker for bacon & manapua!
Review: 4/18/2018 - Just received this item today. I put it to use. I didn't have high expectation.Instead of cooking bacon. I cooked Chinese sausage. I like the deep grooves comparing to other product. This is also the reason I decided to go with this one, despite, it is pricier. Both the tray and the cover are hard plastic with good construction and quality. I put 6 Chinese sausages and added water to the tray to avoid over cook. Plus, the grease is dripped to the water, not the tray direction. I read the instruction, but Chinese sausage is not part of instruction. I decided to cook it in microwave (1K watt, I believe) for 5 minutes. I should have checked at 3.5 minutes mark. Time flies when you don't pay attention...haha...The sausage looked great outside (no burning like when I pan-fried) when it was done. But, I sure over cooked the inside. It sure is pure operator's trial and error...haha.. I have to say, it is so much easier comparing to the traditional pan-fried method. The whole house smells, the cook top splashed with grease. And it usually takes at least 20 minutes+ to cook the whole package. With this microwave cooker, I don't have to cook the whole package, and it definitely takes less than 5 minutes. 🙂 Love Love Love this product.It will be also great to steam manapua (steamed bums) or anything with just water added in the tray. The steep grooves definitely help to avoid the bottom of manapua soaking in water... Yay!!Note - It is best to mix dish detergent and super hot water when dumping the grease water into kitchen sink. I am going to try to line the tray with paper towel next time. 🙂

Title: Too small for the bacon I get
Review: The crisper is quite sturdy does well in bottom rack of the dish washer. The cover has only a narrow lip which requires special attention in placing the cover on the crisper, if it is not properly positioned grease splatters the microwave. The crisper is too small for the bacon i buy to lay flat. I also find the spout to drain the grease is poorly designed resulting in grease getting on the countertop.

Title: Ok, I should have bought one a while ago...
Review: Very happy with this particular item. It's been really easy to clean with hot water before it cools off entirely. (Let me tell you, that's a life saver.) I always pour out any extra grease so it doesn't clog my sinks. The cover does its job. And the flat sides/handles are really helpful. My mom use to burn herself with this type of thing all the time.Finding out the right times to cook the bacon is the hardest part. And I cook a lot of pre-cooked bacon (it's just faster & easier for me). I bought this because I actually broke a nice plate trying to get crispy bacon this way--oops. Definitely think it's worth the cost. It's a little on the small size, but long pieces of bacon crinkle up to fit as they cook, so just wrinkle them like ribbon and don't shove more than 6 pieces total in at a time.Overall, I'd say, read the directions 1st. Try them as is, and then make adjustments for your own microwave, slice thickness, etc. And if you're only doing 3 or 4 pieces... make triangles & squares like it says to. You get evenly cooked bacon that way.

Review: Dieses Produkt ist empfehlenswert. So einfach geht Speck "machen" ... Unser Sohn liebt den Frühstücksbacon, aber immer die Pfanne rauszuholen, danach auch noch abwaschen zu müssen und den Aufwand zu betreiben, ... hier kam dieses Produkt gerade recht - so riecht es nicht so stark und der Aufwand ist sehr gering. Der Bacon schmeckt genauso gut und das perfekte Geschenk. Sehr empfehlenswert.
