Title: Easy to make bacon and easy cleanup
Review: This is great for making 4-6 slices of bacon for two people quickly.Making bacon is inherently a messy proposition. This device contains the grease and allows easy cleanup, but I have learned some things along the way. Making bacon: recommendation is one minute per slice, but for nearly crisp bacon it is more like 1 minute 20 seconds per slice for Costco bacon in my microwave and even longer for thick cut bacon. Fortunately, you can start with 1 minute per slice and examine the bacon and add more time in perhaps 10 second increments as needed. Harvesting grease: place empty device in microwave and run for 20 seconds. This melts the grease and allows you to tilt the tray to a corner and pour the liquid into a storage container for later use. It also loosens everything to help with cleanup. Cleanup: after loosening the grease in microwave, use a kitchen brush and dish soap for clean up. This is important as the brush gets into the rows and row walls. Press lightly and tilt the brush and brush the one row wall and then tilt in the other direction and brush the other row wall to more accurately clean the walls of each row. Don’t press too hard and be a little patient and it will clean up nicely. Keep in mind that although it takes a little longer to clean than a frying pan, you don’t end up with grease all over your range or oven, so the time saved in cleaning that mess is way more than saved by spending a little more time cleaning this device. Also, when cleaning the lid: soap the interior of the lid with the kitchen brush and rinse, then soap and rinse again. The lid is usually so greasy you almost always have to do it twice to get it squeaky clean.

Title: Fast bacon without a mess
Review: I searched for years for a way of making good bacon without making a mess; I was ready to accept the situation as one of life’s great inequities. For about $10, this goes a long way toward fighting injustice. The results aren’t in the baked-bacon class, but they compete surprisingly well with the pan-fried stuff.This plastic grill is sturdier than I expected from the reviews. I suggest picking up an extra package of bacon to test what works best for your microwave and preferences; that’s the only tricky part of using this. Of course, you’ll have to suffer through trying a lot of bacon. This is NOT a gadget for anyone attempting to lose weight. With a large (1,100W) microwave, I tried 80, 90, and 100% power for 1 minute per slice. You could probably cram 6 slices on there, but I found that 4 worked much better. At 80%, they were nicely even and slightly crisp. Higher settings left slightly burned. Out of curiosity, I tried a light sprinkling of brown sugar, which I enjoy on baked bacon. The results were slimy and about the consistency of beef jerky. resist the urge. The plastic gets hot, by the way, but I was able to lift the tray by the sides straight from the microwave. The lid needs to cool a little first and isn’t as easy to grasp as I’d like. It’s dishwasher-safe, but remember to drain or wipe off most the grease first.If you want even easier bacon, use this grill to prepare 4 slices, removing them when they’re just cooked through. Finish cooking the remainder of the package in batches like this, then package them in sets of four layered between paper towels. Put them in a gallon bag, and refrigerate them as soon as they cool down. When you’re want a few slices, take out as many as you want and cook them for another 30-45 seconds, wrapped in their paper towels on a plate. This is especially nice for couples and single folks.All in all, this was a great investment for the money. Recommended!

Title: Works well for cooking several pieces of bacon at once
Review: This "grill" is relatively easy to use. Just lay strips of bacon across the grease channels, add the cover, and put it in the microwave for a few minutes. It takes some trial and error to learn how many minutes it takes, which varies with the amount of bacon and the power of the microwave oven. We like this device, as it is easy to use and clean. The bacon does not cook perfectly evenly, but it is close enough, and you can put parts not quite done back in the microwave oven for another minute or so. I pour out the bacon grease into our garbage (don't pour grease down your sink drain). Then I put the grill standing vertically in the bottom rack of our dishwasher and the lid in the top rack of the washer. No problems so far. But the grill could be improved by making the grease channels a bit deeper, and especially by changing the handle of the lid to make it easier to grasp. It should be easy to make just a minor change to the handle, and I would rate the grill 5 stars if that were done.

Review: Hola a todos los amantes del tocino o tocineta como se le llama en algunos países. El artículo tiene la Enorme ventaja de que en Dos minutos y medio en el microondas el tocino queda crujiente, crispy cómo dicen en inglés y listo para comer . Esa es la buena , la mala es que yo pensé que me iba a salvar de limpiar la grasa de los sartenes pera siempre pero noooo Ahora casa luego se dos, máximo tres usos hay que darle una super limpieza al microondas que acumula la grasa y también cierto mal olor. En conclusión bueno si tienes flojera y quieres tu tocino listo y sabroso en menos de tres minitos. Lo no tan bueno es que te vas a llevar al menos diez o quince minutos en lavar el microondas y la bandeja que también está llena de grasa.
